while in the heavens YY is always saying '15 steps' and YD is basically flying in the opposite direction now in the mortal realm YD cannot stay more than 10 steps away from TZ. :-)

on another note doesn't the mortal realm bracelet look so similar to those health bracelets that were a fad circa 15-20 years ago?

well TZ was raised in a sect that had (like the heavens) no love/relationships attached to it so instead of denial can we use unbeknownst? he just a 20 year old who has never been in love or had any close contact with a female before. :-)

agreed. noticed the only plant he talks to and hides in his sleeve. :-)

there are differing opinions as to why YY has no memories, whether he was sabotage, if that glowy thing is a memory pill or something else or even if his vest/armor was destroyed or in practically just damaged etc.
I am stating what I assume as I watch the drama others may watch the drama with different sets of eyes so we answer comments to our opinions (from me without hate - there are quite a few haters here so take any opinion you want with a bag of salt).
whether it is agreed or not does not matter we will get the truth as the drama unfolds.

There are many perspectives to this scene when YY was transported / descending to the mortal realm.
YY newly ordained assistant (Lu Ming) had a short talk with YY at the pool. I still believe Lu Ming handed a lotus seed (green glowy thingy) to YY for him to plant in the mortal realm (however that theory has been shot because YY has no memories so how would he know what the heck that seed is when he is a mortal?) another theory that gets pushed is that green glowy thingy is the memory pill I shot that down because YY would have taken it before going through the pool. right now this memory matter is still hanging in the air.
My opinion still stands that like you when YY was descending /transporting / flying through the clouds to be reborn mortal he got struck by the 1 heavenly lighting to seal his celestial powers into that vest or armor. YY was not attacked/sabotaged nor was his vest destroyed.

YY or TZ (in the mortal realm) was attacked by a demon who found out that YY (dijun) was going through trials (supposedly) in the mortal realm, YY celestial vest was damaged in this attack and leaking / losing celestial power. Lu Ming who has been keeping an eye on TZ came to help repair the vest and store some of YY celestial power in that floating mirror thing (this was used later to fake YY's death to get the demons off YY's back while he completed his mission/investigation technically this had not begun because TZ is mortal and has no memories) while Lu Ming was helping TZ he tried to jog YY's memories and inform him out right who TZ is and that he needed the 4 celestial artifacts spread across the world to repair his damaged vest as for the memories I assume that will be regained when his vest is completely restored.

50/50 on the heavenly emperor being a villain right now although there are hints he not as good as he portrayed to be.

from what I read and made to understand, this drama does not follow the novel word for word (just took about 20-30%) by right in the novel YM is the male lead and ends up with YD but since YY is now male lead and YM is second there are many changes that stray from the novel. Don't fret till the end. :-)

Technically there is somewhat - suppose to be TZ & YD then YM add senior brother suddenly came in, lest we forget evil candle has appeared last night so there you are 5 wheels. We got a love pentagon going on. 🤣

Thus i stated i 'assume'there must be more because part 1 of IS is 3/4 through and part 2 has only 19 episodes. IF there is another arc i hope it concentrates on the main leads love more. Like you i am romantic at heart and want more romance between the 2 lovebirds not 3/4 & eventually a 5th wheel added into the mix.

the 'falling' is REALLY slow at this rate we at ep 27 and YY 'mission' has not started nor the lovers story in mortal arc (it started only in the heavens with YD sacrificing her heart and falling in love then attempting suicide because of YY).
I assume if this is 3 lifetimes there should be another arc thus another love story.

I don't want to burst your bubble but I think candle is practising the black arts so she might just become a demon (as in actual demon demon) so she might just be around till the end because I saw a china clip that did not make it to the trailer (yet) of YD fighting with candle (who looks like she joined the demon clan - dressed in black & red).

possibly but I have this feeling that once TZ collects all those artifacts he going to go through such a dejavu and the memories will start flooding in.

I like that TZ and YM are fighting for YD don't mind all that rivalry / fighting / jealousy just for YD (starting to be really cute).
at least that is change from YD always being subdued or being cornered by some other random man (*cough cough, senior brother) she shouldn't be.
I just ff when I saw evil candle not going to waste my time on her. :-)

she the evil candle definitely she going to do something bad towards YD just that we have no idea what.

I get it about the annoyance because firstly bored at seeing YM taking quite abit of screentime THEN candle suddenly appearing after peaceful 6 episodes without her.
as I am watching current episodes I was actually flailing my arms at the computer and shrieking NOOO!!! when I saw that candle.

my guess we will be seeing the lotus burner at the last 2 episodes of part 2. :-)

right? it seems so wrong yet so right at the same time.
annoying the heck out of me as well because this about TZ and YD but then again that damn candle appeared all over again so my annoyance shifted towards her instead of YM.
