as i logged onto MDL the rating is 8.3 i think this is really good. i don't watch the ratings in other sites is it bad for this drama??

my take on the bracelet scene in episode 25 -
was constantly ringing in my ear (15 steps) while in heavenly realm and YD would actually be 'flying' the opposite direction from YY.
in the mortal realm she can't take more than 3 giant steps away from TZ.
the irony is deep in this episode i also enjoy the jealousy emitting from TZ which seems kind of petty right now.

funny how bracelets seem to play a part with YY/YD or TZ/YD in this series but the small artifacts - the hairpin / lotus burner has not been used to its full potential yet.

i mean technically YY is the number 2 supreme god after the heavenly king so he has to be serious and all that.
in the mortal realm TZ is free and somewhat (i use this term loosely) unrestrained however he is set to be the sect leader? who can never marry (based on the trailer) so i hope after 3 episodes of happiness we are not going to have endless crying and torture again.

not sure, the translation is rather sticky, some say 10 thousand some say 100 thousand so its any ones guess right now.

the budget for this drama must have been sufficient because the main leads Cheng yi and Yangzi barely had the same costumes on every episode. no complains on the contrary it is great that this drama pays attention to other aspects like making their own sets, a king size wardrobe / hair pieces and almost perfect make up.

TZ is the exact opposite of YY because he is mortal and almost unrestrained (compared to all those ancient rules of abstinence what not) so its refreshing to have him do the chasing in the mortal arc.

i think he is about 100 thousand years old because he was orphaned as he claimed in the old war dubbed the genesis war of the gods.

everyone has their opinions so i respect other views as long as they respect mine.
again yes we need to view the drama in its entirety to be able to piece it together and make the drama make sense. :-)

my opinion, if that pill was for retaining memories YY would have taken it but since he did not i assume it is not that pill.
the strange light is when YY entered the pool there was light blue followed by yellow then the last was dark blue/black before YY went in i think Lu Ming was talking about the blue/black light.
Lu Ming promised YD he would watch over YY if something was to happen to YD so that is why Lu Ming was keeping his eye on YY as he is in the mortal realm.
The faking of YY death was because the first attack on TZ damaged his celestial armor so Lu Ming faked YY death all the way to the heavens so that YY can complete his mission and at the same time ensuring the demons would not look for YY any further.

actually i think that from the acting the heavenly king was quite reluctant to let YY go to the mortal realm just that in words YY kind of tricked the heavenly king into agreeing (this is just my judgment on the scene that was portrayed (no hate)).

YY knows he has demon or more accurately asura blood but :
i. the heavenly king refuses to tell YY about his parents
ii. what happened to cause YY to be orphaned and end up being raised by the heavenly king
iii. the war which caused such animosity between demons & the heaven having to have a barrier to prevent the demons from entering the heavens
iv. what caused such a a strict rule that deities cannot fall in love in the heavens.

as YY was being 'transported' through the pool to the sky he was not attacked i assumed that the lightning strike was a heavenly lightning to put a seal on his celestial armor.
however he was attacked by demons in the mortal realm because naturally the demons wants the number 2 out of the way so they can take over & rule (that is always the main scheme).

the heavenly king did promise (unless i read it wrong) that YY would retain his memories and power that the trials were just for show for the heavens when he was being sent away so to speak. that is why i was surprised - if YY is mortal and being sent for a mission he has no memory of then why be sent there to begin with?.

this is just my opinions and thoughts based on how the drama is unfolding. :-)

that is another factor if that assistant can fly over to the mortal realm as is why couldn't YY do the same.
Instead YY was sent as a mortal stripped of everything including his memories and has to do this mission obviously not knowing due to him being mortal.
IF assistant did not go over when TZ was being attacked then TZ will be non the wiser.
this are just questions on the plot nothing to do with the acting or trials.

its abit of both. candle cultivated from a candle stand to human/deity by being by YY side so she kind of felt YY is hers (in a sense) plus after the heavenly king the next in line is dijun YY so the power factor is appealing as well.

Just saw the trailer from youku for episode 27-28.
while in the heavenly realm people were bullying YD now she in the mortal realm men are fighting for her. nice twist considering the men are TZ & YM.

another matter that keeps coming to mind, YY went to investigate whatever but was stripped of all his memories etc so this arc would take his entire lifetime trying to piece together whatever it was he was suppose to do without him knowing it?? makes no sense to me.

another comes to mind, deities are sent to the mortal realm to experience the 8 hardships etc being born, betrayal, illness i can't remember the rest but i am certain one of them is heartbreak so if YY being sent for trials with a life set without love how he going to return to the heavens when he did not suffer all of the 8 hardships/complete the trials? again i am abit iffy on the storyline here. :-)

that's the one. always being used to freak kids out so they don't wander off at night.

i just rewatch the scenes i like and skip through the rest particularly evil candle parts.
downloaded the OST for this drama (something i do for the previous dramas i have watched) and its playing now as background music. :-)

i just noticed and stand corrected.

costume and hairstyle is similar too.

I cross my legs and wait endlessly hoping TZ will say 'YD what the heck are you doing here?' some recognition.

hope your day is better as time progresses, time difference is a drag but positive comments are what makes my coming here better.
the weekends are when we are dragging our feet as there are no new episodes to watch.

lest we forget that damn evil candle....
