I'm not gonna lie the only reason I'm tuning in for this is because of the music they used in the second teaser it promises both drama and angst and I'm a sucker for those tropes

I remember watching this when I was as a teenager and weirdly feeling like I just got queerbaited and now rewatching this as a woman in my 20's it's nice to know that my gut feeling was correct because what the actual hell was that they had an incredible opportunity to take the LGBT aspect somewhere but they chose to do nothing about it soooo frustrating

The transition from this admittedly lighthearted and 'innocent' series about two teenage boys coming into their sexuality into the angsty and harshly realistic movie about two grown men who have to try and pick up the pieces of a lost love and a harsh society did not give me the live laugh love moment I was looking for I'll be honest

I just wanna see lesbian activity in my tv shows is that too much to ask T_T I'm manifesting this for myself rn

So far so good and just as cheesey and angsty as I thought it would be I guess sometimes you just gotta give into the cheese.

Also I just wanted to ask whether I was the only one who felt the homoerotic vibes coming off choi mujin and jung taejoo 🙃

I’m not gonna lie I let out a little giggle when choi mujin said he’s never betrayed anybody in the last episode like my guy the entire plot of this show is about how the main heroin is being deceived by YOU and how YOU betrayed her kekdkfkfk

Plus Ohm has some fire BLs under his belt (He's coming to me, Dew the movie etc) so I highly doubt that he could ever disappoint me with his performance.

Words cannot describe how excited I am for this show I'm almost as excited for kinnporsche and that's saying something. On my hands and knees hoping that this doesn't disappoint lmao

This was for sure an interesting film to say the least. Someone already pointed out the beautiful cinematography and I deffo know what they mean I mean did anyone else get your name engraved herein vibes because I sure as hell did lol. Also was it just me or was Vic manipulative as fuck like he would literally start making out with Xiang to shut him up everytime Xiang brought up a real topic with him in a convo I just found that so dodgy

Oh no it’s definitely worth watching! I will only ever criticise the characters (and that’s because they’re frustratingly realistic like my comment was implying) but the movie is good so I definitely recommend it :)

If you ever want to feel hopeless and see just how truly cruel and horrible human beings can be, watch this movie. The fact that this is a reality for so many people is absolutely heartbreaking and infuriating and now I'm pissed at the world

My man Imagase really needs to have some dignity and self respect because how are gonna keep crawling back to the man who treated you like absolute shit 90% of the time you're with him lmaooo

Watched this too many times to count when I was younger (like 13 yo or so and loving it) but rewatching it now that I’m in my 20’s and I’m realising all the things I loved about it were things that I now consider as childish and unrealistic haha but that’s the beauty of being young and looking at the world through rose coloured glasses I guess

The ending is open for interpretation. The director left it like that on purpose so you’d come up with your own interpretation. Jonathan loves Shane deeply while Shane is torn between Jonathan and Carrie who he loves in different ways. At the end they fight on the beach because of all the years of pent up secrets and pain. In a perfect world I imagine them as a poly couple (because that’s the only way I can imagine them being happy since one will always miss the other) but obviously you can come up with your own interpretation :)

Yep I def know him he directed eternal summer (which is one of my favourite lgbtq+ movies ever) he's amazing

That was definitely a hard watch because FVCK does unrequited love hurt :( also did anyone else catch the subtle hints of queer couples during that classroom seating scene? It was hella discreet and subtle no wonder it passed right under the nose of chinese censorship haha

Also would not be surprised if HQ and YF cheat on eachother since they had no problem cheating on their respective partners lmao

This show was bad in every sense of the word like if I wanted to watch soft porn with terrible plot I’d just go to pornhub. If you’re thinking about starting this drama don’t even bother.
