Ahh okay i just saw i'm replying to 7's fan as well. I'm very picky with drama, and there are just a few actors/actresses i can tolerate their acting. Sometimes, i cant help but noticed the bad acting (the awkwardness, unnatural, artificial, any flaws) which i didnt intend to notice, but it was crystal clear throughout the drama. It affect my immersion into the drama because of the awkward acting. I never have that problem with Seven, and she is always phenomenal in expressing her character.

She just end up become my favourite c-actress along with Zhao Liying and Nini. It's not even that i want to be super biased, but Seven is really great at acting🥺.

At least people are open to discussion in mdl, on other social medias though.. they are taking it personally to bash fl, not just drama character sigh. It's getting out of hand, it is almost like Jixing is villain level now, no longer female lead

She acted with Lixian before in Love o2o movie, but they were just supporting actors

I really need to watch this drama closely later when all the episodes have been aired. I stopped watching because i dont like waiting on ongoing dramas, i dont have enough patience So currently i just have read the novel, and watch all the episodes clips lol (i dont mind the spoiler since i've read the novel anyway). But i will watch this drama closely after most episodes have been aired. Gonna rate it later and see if it surpassed UTP and GA. Currently, UTP, With You, are very high on my on screen chemistry for Seven, though imo she has great chemistry in GA, FTY, and TSaTB too. (FTY and TSaTB on screen chemistry are hugely due to acting skills of both leads imo)

Tbf, she didnt even promotes cp with Liu Haoran during With You. As far as i remember, they only attended one variety show together, and also with wulei who was her partner in Whirlwind Girl, so there is nothing about cp promotion in With You.

The drama was just a hit in china, and people shipped them because both were sweet and friendly in the behind the scenes filming. But Liu Haoran had a breakout with movie that year too with Ouyang Nana, and people shipped him hard with her. So his fans and shippers attacked Seven after With You success. Seven was traumatized with cp fans after that drama especially, With You was her first leading drama.

Because male lead character is usually written as the perfect ideal dream partner who can do no wrong, meanwhile female lead character is written with flaws where male lead will save her in the end of the day as the white knight in shining armor.

THIS. None of her dramas are skippable. She is amazing at picking scripts, and acting. And all her drama characters are impactful to me. Like Geng Geng, Jinxia ,Shiyi, Li JianJian, Ning Meng, Cheng Xiao, Yun Duo actually everything left a big impression. Anyone skipping Seven's dramas are missing a lot imo. She ALWAYS DELIVERED. + Her acting skills, everytime i watch her dramas, i cant help but be mesmerized at her acting skills too.

You are truly missing a lot. She is great at picking scripts and acting. Her dramas never once disappoint me, as long as the director do not messed up the editing, she always delivered. But even so, all her drama roles give big impact.

I still remember geng geng from with you 2016, jinxia from under the power, li jianjian from go ahead, yun duo from my mr. Mermaid, shiyi from the sword and the brocade, chengxiao from flight to you, basically all her characters are memorable and impactful in the drama.

They are friends with benefits in the novel. They sleep with each other and do what is beneficial for both of them. It is not out of nowhere zeng di is attached to hanting.

Rather i think Jixing's feelings are valid. It's easy to feel exasperated at someone when you are looking from 3rd person point of view than when you are in their shoes.

At least her next drama melon is from high rated novelist and it seemed linked with cctv channel. I like her next drama melon because of the high profile team and cctv involvement. High probability to air on cctv

The only platforms that i know will go to great extent to promote seven's drama is mango/hunan. Tencent and iqiyi bare minimum, youku the worst. Dear Mayang Street was supposed to be a TV drama, they should have waited for TV schedule slot, but they couldnt wait after Go Ahead success, they released Dear Mayang Street online. DMS genre was totally made for TV, not online .

I'm gonna curse Youku if they spoil Shujinrenjia promotion because Seven declined Mango Flourished Peony (by Go Ahead director and team) for shujinrenjia. Seven was the first actress being considered as main character in Mango Flourished Peony.

Shujinrenjia is one out of 4 youku key dramas this year. But i just dont understand their strategy. They are too secretive and no promotion at all

This drama barely moving. For real, arent they going to promote this drama at all? Not only the filming is too secretive, they dont even release any pictures for events. There are rumours of this drama will be broadcast these few months, but are they going to drop this drama just like that? Why are they being so secretive?😭

Tbh, Han Ting in this novel and drama is designed as perfect male character, that would get female readers/audience wish they are female lead instead. He is CEO, rich, smart, caring, loyal, just what every female audience dreamed of from their partner. Meanwhile Jixing is designed as green, emotional, stubborn, naive, and spiritful who has her own reasons for acting that way in the drama, and will grow into a better businesswoman.

Jixing's naivety made audience they can be a better partner for Han Ting, because they feel they would not do the same if they were in Jixing's shoes. But audience also needs to realize, they saw Hanting's pov and reasons from the drama, if they didnt see hanting's reasons and pov, and felt betrayal like jixing, would they still be collected and calm? Besides, Hanting is designed to be perfect male lead, while Jixing's character is growth. Hanting is mentor, Jixing is student
