The advantage of having a handsome second male lead is i don't mind if Chun'er end up with yan xun or zhuge. Chun'er have chemistry with the ml 2nd ml and 3rd ml, so i like her interaction with whoever of these 3.

I like this drama, the storyline is solid so far, the characters are convincing even the fl who is a minor at that time can own up her character, the visual is also good. the cinematography is decent. LYR is really a good actor, give him a good script and he will deliver it in a gold platter.
not a novel reader, its how the script writer and director to give the best interpretation of the novel to put in the drama. 80% of Int'l viewers don't read the novel. I read the novel of WDBTD after watching the drama, coz the drama is so captivatingly good but the novel its just so so.

too much white wash and light to the point that all of them look sickly pale, even the general. Unless it is intentional that most of them are undead. Sorry not really particular about it but it is so obvious. The drama that just end, the lightning and colors are superb that so hard not notice in this drama.
Many Chinese dramas i liked and rated 10 but moved on right after, i seldom rewatched , here the drama i rewatched like 3 -4 times start to finished - Under the Power, The Untamed, The Blood of Youth, When Destiny Brings The demon, Word of Honor , Lost you Forever and Prisoner of Beauty. Pursuit of Jade will surely be added to my collection of almost memorizing the drama from rewatching.
