lmao yeah it wasn't answered. maybe it's cuz they're the two lords assistants?
I suppose it was mentioned in ep 1 while giving the background, that only demon lords and their 4 deputies are allowed to roam freely in the human realm, and that is because they have a human form, are powerful enough to conceal their demon aura, and have to be able to go in either places in order to keep the demons and demonic activities in check.
No, rating is because of antifans or haters, always happens with this ML's dramas. And no, I didn't say no hints on either side, it's that he has said it out loud to his friend that he has fallen for her, but due to his Taoist preachings he's refraining from taking a step ahead. She on the other hand has made her liking quite clear. There has been hinted attraction and flirtation between them right from the beginning.
Yes to that! That's one of the main things the show is lacking, they could show him solve demon related cases,…
I wasn't talking about the Demon Market, nor does it make sense for him to deal with demons within it. I am talking about the cases in the human realm.
Yes to that! That's one of the main things the show is lacking, they could show him solve demon related cases, destroying evil ones and his identity could still be kept hidden. Thats how it was in the novel too, the demon lords knew there was a powerful Taoist priest in Changan dealing with those things, they just didn't know it was MZY.
They said this about him in BCE and he won two awards, outstanding actor and quality and creative artist.
His role in BCE was quite prominent, it was shorter but not dull, almost insignificant like MZY so far. Sheng Chu Mu was a much smaller role compared to the FL's but there too he wasn't so badly overshadowed.
If a new viewer who doesn't know who the leads are supposed to be, watches MR, they probably wouldn’t be able to guess MZY is the lead, it's that bad here.
As a XK fan, I'm getting more and more disappointed in the show. While yesterday's eps were boring, today's, especially 16 was borderline cringe, the Anbilo part was unbearable.
XK has so much potential, yet he keeps taking on roles where he's just a step on the ladder for the FL's story. I've seen all his dramas multiple times, unfortunately this is his dullest role so far. Even though he's remarkable otherwise, he doesn't stand out a bit in this one.
The actors, the visuals, the CGI, production, direction etc. all seem amazing, extraordinary even, the music is alright too, but the plot??? The concept was interesting but the way the story is going is below average, kind of spoiling the whole experience.
I was smiling reading through your comment, until I reached the part I don't completely agree with. You mustn't…
No no, don't get me wrong, I never said either is better/worse. I appreciate both as excellent actors. I stated a fact based on data, that HT was more popular than JX.

2. He still doesn't show
While it took a long fight for WZ to subdue one ink spell, MZY ends them all in one go 🙌🏼
That's the direction I'm hoping MR takes ahead.
