I just finished watching..... I think it's one of my favorite c=dramas. What I loved was how closely it followed…
I was smiling reading through your comment, until I reached the part I don't completely agree with.
You mustn't have watched other XK dramas to say his acting was good just because Seven brought it out. He's an excellent actor, he got more into the limelight in this because it's a modern drama.
Please can you spoil me, I'm begginggg!!!1.What ep did they got together?2. What ep is the break up? What's the…
1. ONS ep 22, got together ep 24 2. Breakup ep 31, reason - JX's insecurities and misunderstandings, they have a heated argument, she walks out of his life, they get back together ep 36 3. She loved ex when they were together, but prioritized her work, they broke up ep 8. Both moved on naturally in some months, ex married one of her besties, she is with HT. They were seen together for work collaboration nothing more.
One of the best Special Episodes Iβve ever watched I can easily say that. Loved the progression for all the…
All efforts they were making to build the big data pool was sabotaged by HT because he released DongYang DoctorCloud's data to the public for use. The end showed they were called in for investigation for the volunteer and radioactive cases of malpractice.
Nevertheless, not addressing the issues with him, not giving him a chance to explain, not letting him know where…
Grandpa as well as her parents ask him (not her) the same question: who will concede or yield, and both times, he stays quiet but it's clear that it will always be him who will compromise and adjust his life and ways in accordance with hers, whether it's making his food more spicy to match her tastes, getting married in Munich like she wished to or choosing to have a child whenever she wants.
Part of me wishes none of us would have read the novel and we wouldn't have so many spoiling teasers/trailers. We would have enjoyed every new turn and would've been surprised with each move in the plot.
On the other hand, I also enjoyed anticipating what I had read in the story and how they'd play it out. It made us eager for every next episode.
The long wait of the drama made many more people read the novel than usual, but it wouldn't have been so delightful if it wasn't executed well. The director seems to be a perfectionist, so keen on the details in every scene that even the star was actually bought for a 2 minute scene.
The writer wrote a wonderful story that kept us enthralled, XK, TSY, all other actors, cast and crew did a great job in together creating this masterpiece.
I actually don't think of it as running away... not totally. In Germany, she takes classes and has the conversation…
Nevertheless, not addressing the issues with him, not giving him a chance to explain, not letting him know where she went, leaving behind her family, friends, pet and the VP post in the company hers was merged into is pretty much running away.
Because I knew the ending, I didn't feel the bitter in the bittersweet ending much. So I went back to read the last extra chapter in the novel to torment myself, shed the tears I meant to, and now that shall serve as the ending of the drama's extra ep in my mind π
Felt like LiLi didn't want to be with SZZ, she wasn't excited when she took the bouquet, which she took only after she'd said no again. XYX, TXM, JX, ZYN all nudge her towards him as they all know he deeply loves her, so she begins to seriously consider him.
Other pushes were a sense of loss when she sees something between him and ZYN, and when she realizes he is leaving for 3 years, afterall, they had been closely working together for 2 years now.
Perhaps she thought she already tried dating for fun, fell in love and that didn't work, maybe she should be with someone who loves her and would dote on her instead and so she accepted to be with SZZ.
She gave up on excitement and settled for contentment. Yes LiLi settled, and that happens in real life.
This drama wayy exceeded my expectations. Even though I'd read the novel, I didn't think I'd enjoy it this much.
Two things that shall be remembered and praised as an after-taste long after the drama: - the character Han Ting - the etraordinary chemistry between XK and TSY.
There are many other great aspects of ABAY, but these 2 elements remarkably stand out.
I enjoyed the extra and it could create a more lasting impact, but ep 40 closes really well too. If it had ended there, it would've been closure enough for the viewers.
But who really plans to cry? π

A big thank you! πΈπΈ
