Plus, she definitely felt a bigger distance in that instance with the huge power and status gap that suddenly fell between them.

He's always so invested in the role that he has to speak up if a scene doesn't make sense or he suggests a better way to proceed with it.
We've seen that all the way back to the bts of AMA where he envisions how the scene could be better and shares those ideas, thus contributing to the quality of the drama.

Aaaahh! Ep 18! For those who say XK can't act watch the middle of this episode. The way he ended the Wei guy, full of rage and fury, fuelled by the need to protect XY and get revenge for the family. It was so believable that it got scary for a moment.

And some nerve this Wei has! Asked him to come alone at the Shen house where he killed all his family, by kidnapping his girl. Dude, you were asking for it!

Poor QY though, already shook by the night's events, she gets to know the 2 people she separately holds dear and loves are the same person. She can't wait to meet him, time isn't passing and then she is just left with a letter saying he broke his promise again and that the best outcome is they get their revenge without disturbing their hearts. 💔
Thankfully he gives her hope of returning back to her.
