I’m worried because the poster seems to set up a love triangle when there wasn’t one in the original. I hope there’s a family poster to come.

You misunderstand. I can comprehend the intent just fine and can deduce the issues to come. The angsty era will be the "overcome internal and external struggles" bit that I'd mentioned.
You say it's "not entirely fictional" but I was under the impression that this IS a fictional piece. Are you suggesting this is based on someone the author knew? Is it semi-biographical?!

Who watches romance for realism? The romance genre is usually more fantastical than fantasy. Two people meet, overcome internal and external struggles through the power of love, pledge to be together forever, live happily ever after. That’s the formula.

Okay...this is getting frustrating because this isn't a mystery show.
Are you... for real? They've TOLD us many times from different characters why she keeps taking in children. Also, the male lead comforted her when hearing the conversation about her mum, reacts whenever her mum is mentioned and knows way too much about her (even if he's usually observant). He was a minor when his grandmother was unable to care for him and he keeps dodging calls from his mum. Then, ignoring ALL of that, her mum (who didn't recognise anyone else) acknowledged him and called his name fondly.

Dude. They told us the pairing in the first episode when the webnovelist met his mum.

I found she lost the arrogance once he redecorated her hair. So, it wasn't that long. It seems that she just needed to be made aware that she wasn't the only clever one.
