They should have just let Somchai Tidsanawoot write and direct the series by himself, at least with his previous works he's proven he can deliver quality.
The "The writing for this series has more padding than 80's shoulder pads" record has played on repeat so many times lately that it's worn out, but yeah these episodes could have been 30 minutes without all the padding and still felt a bit stretched.
At least it's not being completely carried by Mos and Bank's visuals because Yotha and Sam actually have a bit of chemistry brewing.
If Easy Ferrer was the one writing and directing this it might be something to look forward to, but Xion directing it is definitely cause for pause consider his past work.
The constant "are they, aren't they" deja vu every week isn't a "slow burn" it's shit writing trying to spread a rice paper thin storyline over 16 episodes when GMMTV's normal 12 would have already been a stretch. Hire some actual good writers that can add to the story, not just pad it out until you could launch into space bouncing off it.
The cast is amazeballs and make it worth watching, but holy shit is the writing this year terrible.
Whelp, they may be the rookies but think Keen and Sea now officially hold the gmmtv record for most amount of lip macking in a series.... Golf really said "You're not roasting me for high fives...." without saying a word. lol
Of course they had to get Force in there for a cameo, and no f Shone that POS deserves to be alone for the shit he tried to pull behind Moo's back with Kang.
just had to mention the lol fact that the one episode with the in series sponsorship for Lactasoy is the one episode they weren't constantly trying to milk each other.... lol
This week they really went full fairytale. With damsels being rescued, villians who can't take no for an answer…
It was pretty obvious in the previous episode that Yei was full of shit when he said he was going to meet some fight promoters, but then that's been the end of it with the exception of the two second shot of his screen saying he had 45k in the bank.
Dee and Yak are done, toss them on the fairy boat ride of new relationship honeymoon relegated to the secondary priority and finish out the storyline for Cher and Yei. We already know Yak is probably going to get world champ and Dee will get the scholarship but turn it down to stay with his patients and Yak.
First episode not even a week after it and I had completely forgotten I watched it, then forgot this aired today, so now with the second episode we'll see how long it takes to completely forget it.
Still going to give it the typical 3-4 episodes try, but right now the fence is leaning towards drop it.
Au Kornprom Niyomsil definitely isn't creating the same magic as with "My School President" and whoever thought the constant onslaught of sound effects circa 2022 Rak Diao needs to be fired, blacklisted and subjected to months long torture sessions of every sound effect played on repeat all at once.
It also doesn't help any GMMTV keeps skewing their characters to acting more like middle schoolers than high schoolers. In My School President it wasn't nearly as bad.
My Engineer had 4 versions... so who knows. It is something very well known in the Thai BL industry, that it takes…
yup pretty much, and I'm already calling it that 2025 is going to be the year of every freaking thai bl series having at least one wedding in it. lol
Ohhh plot twist, a thai bl with divorce lawyers who start taking same-sex divorce cases and then themselves end up together. One of the main leads could be the "I'm gonna help fix this" type and the other one could be the "marriage is the death of a perfectly good relationship" type.
Apparently I'm one of the odd ones out because while I liked this series at the beginning it really started to fell dragged out after the first few episodes. I like slow burn, slice of life series, don't even mind the whole misunderstanding trope... hell I loved "Utsukushii Kare" and that is the masterclass of misunderstanding. The problem here is make a zombie out of a zombie and that would still have more personality than either of the two main leads in this series, it's like they were keeping them nearly fully sedated at all times.
If it wasn't for Yamase keeping it on life support with the few episodes / scenes the character was in, this would have been put out of it's misery by episode 5-6.
Like I've said before, there were no "OH S%$& I just f'ed up and now he's going to know my real feelings and everything is going to be ruined", etc. It was just two zombies going mindlessly through their everyday routine.
for me, as a person who can take offense for a long time at things that will be trivial to everyone else (which…
Phum got cast aside and sent away, just him, not his other two brothers. Why was he not wanted, but the other two were?
too many unanswered questions, too much hurt for it to just all be swept away with a one liner, but then have the rest of the episode revolve around it. It's a major part of his character traits, it should have been better explored. They bloated the hell out of this series to stretch to 16 episodes, but then didn't tackle a main aspect of a main character, bad writing.

!!
lol
Yak X Dee started off strong but Rak X Mut are quickly pulling a head.... (pun so intended)
lol

boom, gmmtv give me my millions. lol
