If they were going to bother diving into the whole family drama that "argument" should have been a big huge fight, not a "oh now you're paying attention to me" one liner and then done, especially since the rest of the episode revolved around that.

The cast is definitely what makes this worth watching because the vast majority of the time the rest of it is wasted potential.

Oh there'd definitely have to be some Granny flashbacks. lol

These characters share a lot of the same traits as their previous ones and usually that would annoy me having them be back to back like that, but they play those traits and off of each other so well.

Yup all his "It's the best thing for Moo so it doesn't come back to bite him in the future" was such bullshit, he just wanted to break them up so he could take his shot.

I decided to give it a chance because Somchai Tidsanawoot usually writes good stuff, Hidden Agenda not included, but I should have paid attention to the rest of the writing crew, that should have been clue enough combined with it being Star Hunter to know it was going to be terrible quality.

Film and Belle could come back as photographer and social media influencer and put together an advertising campaign, Gun could come back having quit his flight attendant job and become a tour guide. We know Ter decided to stay on at the dam so that brings back all of the regular cast. Hell Granny Tub let them stay on working for their room and board so maybe Top decides to do the same thing and hires the guy that kept borrowing from the money box.

Like I said, so much they could do with it.

Yeah everyone always ends up complaining slice of life series are boring, or don't give it a chance because it's not a bl, etc. and it's such a shame. I still haven't found a series like this, don't think I will either. Luckily I dl'ed it so I can watch it as many times and whenever I want. lol

Glad to see Mos and Bank getting another project, unfortunately the rest of it is typical Star Hunter Entertainment shit quality all around. If the first episode is any indication the series will be carried hard by Mos and Bank being in various forms of undress as much as possible.

Watching it again right now for the third or fourth time since it originally aired.

I'm still hoping for a second season, think it would be great if Top was running the Homestay and Pom ended up coming back because her and Ohm didn't work out. She could stick around and help him out with the homestay since he's overwhelmed trying to do it all himself and it gives her time to heal and for them to decide to give it a go together in the end.

There's much they could do with another or even multiple seasons of this.

It's all about the merch, tickets they can sell, etc. and less about the quality.

Honestly if quality was the main concern then pairings like Joong X Dunk and Perth X Chimon would have been a one and done, but the shippers got wet for them so now GMM is going to milk it dry for all it's worth.

Chimon needs to stick to straight / asexual characters because it's more than obvious he's not comfortable with the romantic / nc scenes in a bl series. Poor Perth at first looked like he was going to have a stroke trying to strain some chemistry out of it, then looked exhausted from the effort the rest of the series. Pretty much the same thing can be said of Joong and Dunk, Joong struggled to get something out his bobblehead partner, but the more those two get paired together the more he just looks like he's given up trying.

Someone at GMM made a huge mistake getting the rights to adapt this in Thai format, and they're banking everything on Gemini X Fourth's fans to pull it through.

I think it's the way they decided to do the character more than anything.

The original worked because of the shorter duration and episode length and them managing to pack so much of the characters into an episode without it feelin rushed.

Granted this is only two episodes in and there are a couple of great scenes that were added / extended compared to the original (ep. 2 play is a good example), but then there's a lot of scenes that just scream we're only here to pad the runtime.

This story is already thin to begin with, and they're trying to double the episode runtime and double the amount of episodes, it's going to end up with more padding than 80's shoulder pads. lol

I like Gemini and Fourth, they're good actors and they do a good job of holding your attention and distracting from things, but in this case I don't think even they can distract enough from how much padding this is going to have in every episode.

Gemini and Fourth are definitely going to be carrying this series hard, but even they might not be able to make it worth sitting through 12 episodes of this.

This started off good, fell flat quickly, then came Yamase to hopefully spice things up and he did with a few shirtless scenes and then they forgot about the character and back flat it went and has stayed there.

I'm all for slow burn, slice of life, but this burned out right after the initial spark. Everything is under the guise of being for improving the character / series they're filming, but there's really no slip ups, no real indications that maybe their real feelings have more to do with it. I've seen other series tackle this same dynamic / storyline and throughout the series there's little bread crumbs from each character that adds a bit of "are their real feelings going to get catch" excitement that this series is seriously lacking. They're both too quick to excuse their own actions and each others and then forget it ever happened.

We're nine episodes in and I'm not even sure if it's bad acting, a bad pairing, or just bad writing and directing, but it's definitely not living up to the potential that it could have had.

Yeah luckily you and I seem to have completely different taste in men so it always works out. lol

Don't get me wrong I think Peat is gorgeous, but I'd definitely be having my fun with Fort.

15 years ago I definitely would have been the one to break Fort, nowadays I couldn't break a half broken twig. lol

It's Fort and Peat and characters that bicker, banter, tease, seduce and annoy the living hell out of each other... what's not to love??
