Last update was in March saying it would release in summer (second half of 2024), is it really that hard to give a monthly or even bi-monthly update on the progress of the re-edit. Way to shoot themselves in the foot with fans and potential sponsors for their future projects.
On My Love Mix-Up! Jun 7, 2024
It was decent, but I really hope the next series Gemini and Fourth get together gives them more mature characters like they had in Moonlight Chicken.

Underwear under boxers for one helps with that, like FrankIncense said with so many people around it's a vibe…
It was an interview they did a long time ago, sure you can probably find it through some google searching.

Im really curious what do they do if they get a boner while shooting love scene in fiction as well as in real…
Underwear under boxers for one helps with that, like FrankIncense said with so many people around it's a vibe killer for some, but Max and Tul have said before they they both got turned on during their scenes together because of all the physical contact, etc. despite everything.

If you pay attention during the nc scenes you can see the underwear under the boxers a lot of times. When it comes to a series like Playboyy where there were a lot of thongs, etc. underwear where that isn't an option they used groin cup inserts.

A five episode long form commercial for a product I could never by even if I wanted to featuring two dweebs.... and yet the one "series" I consistently looked forward to every week.

Tar and Bom fell into this comfortable dynamic so quickly with "I Will Knock You" that no matter how outrageous / ridiculous it gets, they're so much fun to watch because they make the most of it and really have fun together.

Hopefully they'll get another series soon if they're going to be sticking together and wouldn't mind it if it was something other than rom-com, but they do it so well that wouldn't mind that either.

A slow burn , slice of life, friends to lovers that started strong and personally for me, I think it ended strong as well. This was very much grounded in the reality of a culture where being LGBTQ isn't as widely accepted instead of the being swept off their feet, head over heels, rip each others clothes off fantasy of the BL world that so many people have come to expect. It lacked the manufactured drama many series rely on and instead turned to the "how will this effect his future / I don't want him to be in pain because of me" and while I hate that in 2024 that still has to be a consideration, it tackled it quite well albeit quickly in episodes 7 and 8.

I find it funny that so many people are saying this could have been finished in 5 or 6 episodes when this is the one series that I wish had gone another 1 or 2 episodes so we could have seen Kazuhito struggling being away from Natsukawa and his mother realizing his happiness means more than legacy, etc. that she talked about previously.

have we even gotten a jbl series recently where the characters are pretty straightforward with their feelings…
The most recent one that comes to mind is Kimi to Nara Koi wo Shite Mite mo (2023). Amane right from the start told Ryuuji that he likes guys and once he realized he liked him too much to keep it hidden he wasn't shy about confessing. For his part Ryuuji accepted Amane's feelings towards him and only asked for time to figure out his own feelings. They were both pretty straight forward and openly communicated.

One thing I've noticed lately and not just with JBL but BL in general outside of the Thai BL industry that just gives zero fucks is that all of the production / series are either taking a leap, a step, or a half step forward in their representation. You have some like "My Personal Weatherman" that are really trying to push the limit, some that are trying to push normalization of LGBTQ relationships and skin ship in a more measured middle of the pack way, and others that are sticking with the more cookie cutter "we've got this much acceptance, let's not push it too far/fast" approach.

I think they've seen the "progress" and subsequent pushback towards LGBTQ in the USA and other countries and they're taking a more measured approach to try to prevent some of that and I think it's starting to translate into the BL series more, especially now that the pandemic level of BL sponsorship has receded because companies are back to their normal marketing and/or cutting back because of the global economy.

I completely agree I hated this part in the book as well.
Sometimes the greatest obstacles we face come not from external sources, but from within ourselves.

Q trying to reconcile his fears and feelings for Toey, Phum and Peem trying to reconcile their initial salve / master agreement with how their feelings have developed after spending time together, Tan navigating his fears now that he's with Fang.

Add in the chaos of their seemingly ever expanding friend group dynamic and university work, but it all flows and feels natural. Like I said before, Kluen just felt a tacked on artificial drama with no real benefit. Phum and Peem already know how they feel, it's just a matter of them vocalizing it, let Q and Toey, Tan and Fang be their inspiration and encouragement to take the leap.

This REALLY didn't need Kluen, and it takes more away that it adds. The different couples navigating their relationships, figuring out their feelings, and discovering themselves was more than enough. The addition of the Kluen drama storyline just feels like tacking on drama for the sake of drama.

Even if production did somehow manage to start up again they'd have to start over from casting on up so highly doubt anything with this will ever happen.

I watched this 5 days ago when all of the episodes released. Just before coming here I saw Strongberry post something about it on their Youtube Channel... seriously couldn't remember if I had finished it or not.

I normally have an excellent memory so for not even a week to pass and I've already forgotten about it, that's saying something about it.

Whelp, made it 6:32 into the first episode before saying "NOPE!" and turning it off. Granted that's longer than I lasted with "Crazy Handsome Rich" so I guess that's an improvement. At this point I think I'm giving up hope that Long Lee and Frank will ever get a good series.
On Wandee Goodday May 18, 2024
First we get the okay so what if we had a one night stand, I still get a one day stand and then we get a series actually portraying two guys doing 69... about freaking time.
On Blossom Campus May 18, 2024
This really didn't need the whole love triangle storyline, in fact it actually took much more away from it than it did benefit it. Kim Min Jae and Yoon Chan learning to open up to each other and discovering their feelings for each other with a little help from the professor was more than enough and would have given them more time to explore and develop their relationship after confessing to each other.

I get the idea behind a cliffhanger ending, you're trying to pull audience and sponsor interest in a second season, but you don't do that at the expense of giving a series a proper ending in case another season doesn't happen. More times than not this actually backfires with the audience and causes them to be less interest in your future projects.

These things aren't to say that I didn't enjoy the series, just that it could have been much better and that's surprising since Strongberry is usually so good. The two main leads really did have a create playful chemistry together and yeah can definitely see how Choi Dong Ho got so caught up in it that a peck scene turned into a full fledged kissing scene.

As an 80's kid in that grew up in the USA I think it's funny how many people are commenting about this just being a long ad. Transformers, He-Man, She-ra, and so many of the other cartoons I grew up with were made as a way to advertise the toy lines and not the other way around.

The one thing I've noticed three episodes in is just how much of their own personalities they brought to their characters in "I Will Knock You".
