Tee has now hired Ice...I wonder what they'll get up to. (Not that it'll be interesting. I'm sure it will be as…
Considering the shit show the writing has been for eps 1-5, I'm guessing Ice will become Tee's new play toy in an attempt to make Daonuea jealous because "OMFG Daonuea had to rewrite his apology note to Nine a few times so obviously something must be happening between them...." which is almost as ridiculous logic as "OMFG someone gave Nine cookies, he must be cheating on me"
Don't forget from one of those "business meetings" he brought in a new assistant even though they were on the…
Yeah and I bet those two jobs were both Nine calling in favors from friends.
They didn't even bother saying what Ice's position would be. Nine can handle the photography, Boat seems to be graphics and audio, Daonuea seems to be paperwork and client and Tee is something or other.
this easily could have been a perfect little 4-6 episode miniseries, instead they've dragged it out and diluted what was a really good start to a story.
Why is this only episode 5, yet it feels like it's episode 25.....and not in a good way.
Okay so Preaw obviously had some sort of mental breakdown and harmed herself, either when Nine tried to break up with her before or after her breakup with the guy she originally left Nine for. They still haven't been clear on this at all and it's a vital part of the storyline. This is context we need for why Nine is doing the things he's doing. Is her afraid of hurting her again so he's not breaking up with her, sacrificing his happiness in the process and now regretting that? Is he hoping if he's indifferent to her long enough that she'll break up with him and not have another emotional spiral? At this point they're dragging it out so long without any real clues that it makes you disinterested in it.
Candy needs mental meds for her bipolar, first she's rooting for Nine X Daonuea on second, and then telling Nine to reconcile with Preaw...make up your damned mine already, you're giving Nine and us whiplash.
Daonuea needs to get his head out of his ass, it's obvious he has no spark with Tee. We get it Nine hurt your feels and instead of being an adult about it and letting him explain you go on this quest to hurt him back...except you know, you can't fight how you really feel about him, so all you're doing is wasting time and hurting Tee in the process.
Then there's Tee being shady af the whole episode. We already know what he pulled the first time he and Daonuea tried to be together and now suddenly he has all these "meetings" and calls he has to take away from everyone. Either he's up to a his old tricks or he's planning something as a surprise for Daonuea
But in the end it all comes down to who the f cares because it's the same thing episode after episode with no progression in any way, just rinse and repeat.
and yet after all that I'm still going to be here next episode, but at this point there's still the idiocy in hoping that something in the final episodes will make watching this series past episode 0 worth it. lol
They really took this opportunity of a "Do Over", grabbed it by the balls, and ran with it for all it's worth.
I already liked the short version, but holy crap have they improved sooo much since then. I don't know what War draws on when he's acting the flirty scenes with Yin, but the way he lights up just feels so genuine.
Sigh. I've never really understood what everyone found so appealing about Boun & Prem - maybe it's just the contrast…
That's the problem with Studio Wabi Sabi, they've got he actors but have no idea what to do with them. The writing and editing always brings it down.
When it comes to the scenes of Boun and Prem bickering they really should just tell them where the scene is supposed to head and then just let them improvise it...I think they'd do a much better job than the writers.
That was rough he really tried and she crushed him but I guess she still cant forget all the bad stuff he didThey…
Well he went looking for her when she disappeared so my guess is he'll disappear into a drunken spiral, she'll go find him, and in his drunken state he'll blurt out how he really feels about her.
How they're going to go from her crushing on Jerd to Crushing on Jon I still have no clue.
Absolutely ridiculous levels of cuteness packed into four 20 minute packets of sunshine. We talk about actors having great chemistry together, but this was so natural, so effortless in their interactions that it may as well have been a reality series.
These Japanese series are really kicking some serious ass lately. These episodes could have easily been an hour plus and still felt like they flew by. No drama, no villains, just two crazy teens realizing they've fallen in love with their best friend.
I still don't get how they went from the amazeballs ep 0 to the dumpster fire mess that is the rest of the series. It's like they changed it from an amazeballs about healing after a breakup and dealing with letting yourself love again to a parody series. The changes they made to the characters are terrible and there's none of the quality that was in ep 0.
and yes, of course like some masochistic idiot I'm going to keep watching in the hopes that there's at least one episode that deviates something closer to what ep 0 was. Hell it's happened before (ie any number of MAME's series), but not holding out hope that this won't go the way of a star hunter series (ie gen y) and be a disaster all the way through.
They should have reversed the roles. Ton as an aggressor in Y Destiny nearly set me on fire - he could have pulled…
I definitely agree with the whole "Some of the most chilling characters have been played by baby-faced actors.", but in this case I think it's just that Yoon isn't a good fit for the character. I would put it more on the casting director and the acting coach more than the director. Although I will say the intimate scene was shot and edited really poorly which certainly didn't help.
This is what happens when a studio wants to prove they can be edgy / expand beyond the Teen/YA demographic and then chickens out once it's too late to back out.
Whomever thought Yoon was the right fit for that role should be whipped, fired, and blacklisted from ever doing casting ever again.
Ton played the part perfectly as someone that the whole experience was new to, Yoon's whole part of the scene looked like someone who would get their rocks off squeezing a teddy bear and not someone into BDSM.

For me it was just okay, it definitely felt rushed and unfinished, seemed to be set up for a will there or won't there be a season 2 scenario.
Glad Jeff got to put some of his Karate skills to use.
Pete should have been like "No, now you're my pet bitch" just for the lols.

This just keeps getting better every episode.

This is more like kindergarteners playing house during recess, although even then they might be more mature than some of the scenes with Daonuea. lol

These two are so amazing together and have really improved on their acting soo much.
