ALL HAIL THE GREAT AND ALL POWERFULL DUCKY FLOATY!!!!!! LOL
8 freaking episodes and holy shit bombs batman Dao finally made a decision....you know after making out and F'ing Nine more times than he ever even let Tee give him a hug...you know because no one saw that coming in ep 1. lol Oh wait...the other episodes didn't have the love guru Ducky to make everything right...
They should have done this like the Star & Sky series, the first half being Dao and Nine coming back from the resort in ep 0, resolving their respective issues with Tee and Preaw and in Preaw's bi-polar meltdown Boat meets Candy and then the second half being Boat and Candy with Dao Nine becoming the secondary couple. Or you know....first the crack addict writers that took over after ep 0 and hired better writers.
Sooo much potential of ep 0 up in smoke of the dumpster fire that is this series.
Mek you're a lovable dweeb, but you're also an idiot. lol Instead of not saying anything you should have just told Kim what was going on and discussed it together.
At least they explained it as being a typical character flaw from him and not just had it come out of nowhere like a lot of series do.
Sigh. I usually enjoy this show, but this week (Ep 9) was weak. The side couples, which are the only thing that…
70 to them is like our 40-50, it's just the way the body reacts when you're used to certain temps. Hell the one day it was something like -15f here and Ohm was complaining it was so cold there when it was like 67f in the morning.
The hook for me was that Jimmy was going to be one of the main leads. I was kind of disappointed that they spent so much time of the first two episodes not having Jimmy in them so much, but damn did they make up for it in this episode. For being his first lead role I think he's doing amazingly well and damn could he charm the paint off a pole with just his smile.
I can understand white when they are on field since it's sunscreen but i disliked how some scene they did such…
Oh yeah, sunscreen is definitely one thing and it's really obvious when it's sunscreen or makeup. There were scenes where they had the makeup so heavy you could see it caking especially around his nose and mouth.
Whoever came up with the idea of after credits scenes should be shot!! lol Make sure you watch it until the end of the video as there's a few minutes of the episode after the credits.
Really liked the series, hated the occasional makeup artist that did Perth's makeup that obviously thinks the whole "white/light is beautiful" BS is a thing because they loved to cake on makeup that was way too light for his skin tone.
This is terrible. Prem & Boun have no chemistry. The scene on the bike should have been hot, but they both looked…
Hell the whole "let's punch each other in the chest to say how much our hearts are hurting because we're being separated when we have feels for each other, but have to hide it all behind boxing because we get ripped to shreds if we say anything we think/feel" was the best part of the whole freaking series. Top, Long, and Tae would be awesome together as the mains in a boxing spin-off series. Hell have Ashing steal the money that Mangkorn's father owed and those two go off to open their own boxing academy with Thai in tow helping run the place.
Lee Long Shi (Ashing) and Top Nathas Tunjaroen (Mangkorn) deserve their own boxing centric spin-off series after carrying this series hard. Their scenes may be few and far in between, but the quality and chemistry is so much better than the Athrid X Sun main characters.
They've wasted Tae Weerapat Toemmaneerat's (Thai) talent in this so far as well. They threw in the whole duty over relationship (although in this case it's someone else's budding relationship) scenario, but then failed to really do anything with it. I guess they just needed filler to pad out the episode, which when it comes to an only 6 episode series, there shouldn't be any filler.
If this was from a film university and done by a bunch of students it wouldn't be a bad attempt, but for this to be down my an established studio...the quality is really lacking. The problem isn't the cast, location, or the plot, just the writing, directing and editing have really let it down.
Alright....Who in the hell spiked the coffee with sleeping pills before they started shooting everyday???!! lol Then there's the 12 billion pound elephant in the room....it's a series about a song writer....where's the freaking music, where's the ban playing, etc. There's been some really great series like "Ingredients", "Wish You", hell even KinnPorsche where music was a huge part of the storyline and the characters you know actually played the music and not just talked about it. We see Duean writing, we even get a scene or two with him at the keyboard, but no sound. The progression of writing the song and hearing it from it's rough beginnings to it's finished state should parallel their first meeting to falling in love, but yeah nope, all we get is crumpled up paper on the ground.
Okay I get it, Pleng was hurt in the past and wants to take things slow this time, but damn it the coffee was dripping faster before they even poured the water. This whole series so far has been like a marshmallow after it's sat in hot chocolate for too long...all mush and no substance.
Duean came in like a wrecking ball at first sight, which there's nothing wrong with being straightforward about wanting to get to know someone, etc., but the way he's acting is just ridiculous. So Pleng tells you that he's so busy with his shop than he can barely handle it and doesn't have time for a relationship and what do you do, you offload all your issues on him, forget about him after he worked so hard and made you dinner, let him make you desserts and drive it all the way over to your house, and then have him train you how to make coffee. No, just no Duean, stop being a self centered little prick and help support him.
The whole main storyline is about a song writer trying to overcome writer's block....So far that's what this series seems to be for the writer.
I'm pretty sure Dao would resort to dry humping one of his stuff animals before touching Tee with a ten foot pole,…
And yet somehow Tee still hasn't gotten the clue...it's like dude when you get within a foot of someone you're dating and he instantly wants to go take an acid shower...he might not be that into you....
Ok, so please tell me if Daonuea and Tee are having sex or just sleepovers cause they seem to be a damn bromance…
I'm pretty sure Dao would resort to dry humping one of his stuff animals before touching Tee with a ten foot pole, and he obviously has more feelings for his stuff animals than Tee. lol
You should watch His Man in iQiyi 😊, definitely worth that subscription
best gay dating reality series I've ever seen. No artificial drama or any of that bs and the dates are really set up for them to get to know each other and share experiences and not trying to get them to f as the end game for ratings.
You know, I would love to see a character who would respond to “I don’t love you anymore” with “Oh, ok,…
The closest we've ever had to that was in Bad Buddy when Pat confessed and she said nope, you just said it to get it off your chest we both know it's not me you like anymore.
Chahub (Nine) still remains the only solid reason why to keep watching this series. 99.9% of the writing, et. for this series is complete shit, but then you get a performance from him like in the last two scenes and it reminds you of just how good he can be. Nine being so emotionally abused and battered that he thinks his only choice is to stay with her...he couldn't even bring himself to stop her when she was sexually assaulting him in the end.
Boat was good comic relief at first, but they've left him as such a one dimensional character for too long. Boat has it in him to be a really good actor, but they definitely aren't giving him the chance with this material or the way they treated the character.
Congrats to Daonuea for reaching level 99 dirty diaper baby. He acts like him and Nine were together for years and then Nine ghosted him...get the f over yourself dude, you were a one night f that you both decided you wanted to keep talking afterwards and life got in the way. How many times does Nine have to explain and apologize before you stop being a total dick and get off your high horse.
Candy deserves a Nobel peace prize for not hauling off and smacking the living shit out of that psychotic bitch. It's 2022 for f sakes, it's not like there isn't treatment for bipolar.
Overall this episode was much the same as ever other one, if a snail was moving backwards it would still be more progress than this series, but we did finally get a scene or two that was close to what we got in ep 0 and damn it it's about time.
Now that it's over with the exception of the special episode, I'm still not sure how I feel overall about the whole Star and Sky Series.
I like Dunk and Joong as a working couple and like Dao and Kluen well enough, but not the writing or their half of the series. On the other hand, I liked the writing for the second half of the series with the exception of Sincere and that whole plot twist. I think Mark did a really good job as Prince, especially as it's his first role, but I wasn't sold on him and Mek as a working couple or as a couple in the series. I know the characters were written to be an opposites attract thing, which can work really well, but just something about it didn't work. I think maybe it was because Fah was written as being too cocky and Prince was written as being too "soft" and it just didn't really sell the whole hate to love / opposites attract chemistry well enough.
They really could have done without the whole Ou and Yaya situations and used the time better for the conflict resolution. Yet again another GMMTV / BL series that crams the whole third act in the last episode or two making it feel completely rushed and choppy as hell. Prince's ex come out of nowhere, says I can do a better job of taking care of him even though obviously I can't since we didn't work out in a relationship and Fah just ghosts the hell out of Prince because of that.
Doctors are trained to prioritize patients case by case and while food poisoning can be severe and life threatening, Malaria is the much more fatal affliction and someone else easily could have made sure the rest of the villagers were staying hydrated and taking antibiotics. The whole thing was just bad writing for that part.
Benji I feel like is such an unnecessary addition to the drama, you can both work and have a romantic relationships…
It would have made so much more sense if Benji's argument was that Yanase was spending too much time tutoring Kaneda instead of taking on more challenging projects and his work was stagnating/slipping because of it. The whole your work is losing quality because you're friends, lovers, whatever with this specific person was just total shit. I don't know, maybe it was something lost in translation, but for me that's been the only real disappointment of the series so far and personally I liked that the only real conflict in the series was a will they or won't they confess thing.
