p'Mark kinda hits 😳🔥
That ranked right up there with Pran being the one to pounce on Pat at the end of Bad Buddy.

That after credits scene..... there is no cold shower cold enough to cure that one, Holy shit War went for it hardcore...I can only imagine the outtakes from that one. War really was the perfect actor to play Mark and the two of them together really were the perfect couple for such a messy, complicated relationship storyline like this. I really enjoyed the shorter version of this, but this longer version really up its game in every aspect.

This is one of those series that really makes you wonder how many of the character quirks were actually written and how many of them are the actors real personalities coming through.

Yes, Yes and Yes.
Another one that really gets people fired up is series with an age gap or an actor that will well beyond legal age but looks younger doing kissing scenes, etc. holy crap the comments I've seen people post about those. lol

Title On Cloud Nine Spoiler
can you explain your theory to me?I think they always find each other as soul mates after their death?
Episode 1 is them meeting again in the afterlife (cloud nine). Tiew passed away first and had been waiting for Mork to join him, that's why Tiew has had time to regain his memories of his soulmate and while Mork just recently passed away, doesn't realize he's dead yet or have his memories of Tiew. There's dialogue of waiting, returning, etc. that gives you the clues about that.

Episode 2 and on is all a retelling of their journey together and I'm assuming at the end Mork will regain all of his memories of their life together.

Soulmates will find each other in every life and afterlife, because they have a bond that transcends all. It's a common theme when you die and/or are reborn that you don't retain your memories, but there are exceptions to the rule, like with soulmates.

There's several variations on it they could have gone with so I might not be completely right, but it all pretty much goes along the same foundation.

yeah, seeing more and more comments lately about the looks of the actors, etc. and less on the writing, etc.

*If a series goes beyond spoon feeding and mouth wiping, maybe the scriptwriter should give viewers an explanation…
I personally thought it was so refreshing to see someone work a confusing situation into the beginning of a series like that and then give you enough clues to piece it together, it's been a long time since I've seen that done and done so perfectly.

Granted this is more like putting the first part of act three at the beginning, but it's not like other series/movies haven't put the end at the beginning and then flack backed to show the journey of how it got there.

Yes, Yes and Yes.
Well glad to know I'm not the only weirdo of the bunch that understood pretty much from the start what was going on. lol
On On Cloud Nine Aug 13, 2022
Okay I'm asking this seriously.... how in the hell is anyone finding this confusing?? Are people not connecting the title of the series with what's going on or what? Is it that so many people have become so used to shallow spoon fed writing that they're not able to put the pieces together on their own??

Two episodes in and this is already in my top ten favorites of the hundreds of bl series/movies I've watched.

Beautifully written, directed, filmed, edited, and acted.

When the little kid playing Salmon would have done a better job playing a mafia than Yoon....

At least in this episode there were a few scenes where we had a wild Yoon in his natural habitat... playing all sweet and cutesy.

Little Baiboon about to go ape shit on Cherry thinking she was trying to get with his Khom... lol

Title War of Y
its kinda different yes I think that the series will be like a life narrative, not usually series we are used…
I completely agree with you about the characters, at least with "Call it What You Want" which also dealt with the dark side of the industry, they had well written characters and it really deeply developed them. This was more like something from Mame, where they barely even scratched the shallow surface.

Duean you self centered little prick, he told you before he wasn't ready for a relationship and you still went after him hard and fast. So what if you both got caught up in the moment and slept together, that doesn't give you the right to try to pressure someone into a relationship.....arrrrgggg.
Replying to caupo69 Aug 8, 2022
I can deal with that compared to the unbelievable "heart issue" that is cured by eating an apple plus the fencing…
@Caupo69, actually right in episode 1 they did state the medical condition and it is improved by eating the fresh skin of a red apple. I posted a more detailed explanation of it up in the recent discussions section.

Usually when starting a new series I'll give it the first three episodes before deciding if it's good or not, I don't think I have to do that with this series. The banter/bickering is there, and even the first episode in and there's obvious chemistry between the two male leads. Now here's hoping that the rest of the series follows suit and that they don't start introducing a bunch of annoying stereotypical cliche characters.

Definitely agreed on Lee! His character here is surprisingly very well written. Plus he's got that amazing chemistry…
Personally I love a good villain, especially when they are well written and acted. There's nothing better than seeing an actor who you know is such a sweet, caring, etc. person in real life portraying a character that's so opposite of them and you get sucked in by how evil, self centered, etc. they are.

I think they tried to force the comedic side of it too hard and it just didn't translate to the screen well, it's more annoying and cringe than actual comedy.

Originally the hook for me with this series was because of Joss and Drake, but Lee has definitely overshadowed them and become the main reason to keep watching.

I get this is supposed to be a comedy/drama, but most of the characters are more annoying than anything else.

It is like watching a crash that is about to happen but you just can't help but keep watching or look away lol
oh hell the crash happened with episode one, we're just all still in shock. lol

Congrats to Boat and Candy for officially being the most stable, healthy, no fuckery couple of the whole freaking series.

Out of the whole series post episode 0 that the only pasta that stuck to the wall. I still think Chahub and boat have potential talent, but still think Best should stick to modeling and gaming.

When the first scene sets the tone for the rest of the episode like that you know it's going to seem like it flew by

That last scene thou, that how you got from engine revving, to blue balls, to your eggplant playing groundhog just saw his shadow....
