Apparently I'm the odd ball out on this one because so far three episodes in and I really like it.
Tin is ridiculous, over the top, and mischievous little brother that annoys the hell out of everyone to make them laugh and forget all their troubles...well except for Kana, those two get off on annoying the hell out of each other, like some brothers do.
When it's a theatrical released movie always figure 6 months after release before it ends up on digital and then it could be days to a couple of months before it comes up with eng subs if it's one that the fans have to sub.
Bro I was so shocked about the NC I was not prepared ๐คก๐คก๐คก but why he suddenly desappear after that ๐๐๐
Cen said he died a long time ago but was never reborn and didn't know why. He said the two of them had a lot in common because he always wanted to be in love but never was.
When he fell in love with Naina and Naina reciprocated that love back (ie the intimate scene) his regret / unfinished business from his previous life was finished, so now he could finally be reborn.
They definitely should have stayed with how the characters were in "Unforgotten Night".
I'm pretty sure the tigers had it in their contracts that the only way they'd work with those amateurs was if they were allowed to be high the whole time on set. lol
They definitely should have stayed with how the characters were in "Unforgotten Night".
If you feel so inclined to torture yourself and watch it, when they show the outside of Kamol's house don't look at the lights on the building....once you see it you can never unsee it... lol
And people thought Unforgettable Night was bad? It's a masterpiece compared to this. Love Lee Long Shi still tho…
The sad thing is Day and Itt were one of the few redeeming qualities of "Unforgotten Night"...they must have decided nope, people ripped on how bad Unforgotten Night is so we'll show them what bad really is. lol
Every episode, like the delulu bitch that I am, approx 30% of my attention is focused on what seems to turn King…
And for the extra credit potion of this weeks assignment, either Net, James, or both were concerned about being aroused during the scene where King as on top of Uea. There's no other reasonable explanation for them to each be covered with their own separate blankets and having both blankets between them. lol
Started off with a meh first episode, got better once they hit the island, but then the writing really failed it in the end, especially the final episode.
Palm gets shot in the leg, okay no big deal that'll heal with time and yeah his leg would be a little weak for a while because of not using it. Gets shot in the back, is out for two days and then sits up for a glass of water like nothing happened...yeah um no. The scene should have been where they had the head of the bed elevated, he couldn't sit up, etc. and Nueng told him the bullet didn't hit his spine, but it caused swelling that is pressing on his spine and is causing the temporary paralysis.
The whole "I'm going to leave you because " thing was so ridiculously overused in this series. Every time one left, the other followed, they got back together, and then promised they'd never leave again and yet they rinsed and repeated that.
The name of the bar should have been "Never Let Us Go Bar and Cafe" at Mamma Mam's Hostel. Nueng should have bought the hostel as the start of an expansion of the family business. Nueng's mother could have continued on as CEO of the main hotel business with Nueng and Palm focused on setting up the new Restort / Hostel expansion. Palm could have focused on the guest experience while Nueng focused on the operations and music.
For some reason there seems to be a lot of confusion on what's actually going on for this series in regards to interfans. Here is what World Star actually posted on their youtube channel about it:
"World Star 4 days ago (edited) We truly apologize. ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป Due to the recent distribution deals in many countries around the world, we have to delay the broadcast. We will announce soon when and where you can watch BBTS in your country!!!! Thank you for your understanding and support!! We didnโt think that BBTS would be in such demand. We are trying our best to distribute it to every country. And hopefully we can do dubbings in English and your local languages."
Whoever the acting coach was that worked with James on this series should be sent back to school or told to find a new career. This is definitely a step in the wrong direction from how his acting was in "Catch Me Baby".
Uea obviously has some issues because of the years of abuse by his mother over his sexual orientation. She's probably fed him bullshit like gays can't have real love, no one will love you, gay sex is wrong and disgusting, etc. so Pock was probably his first time at a relationship.
Instead of the internal conflict between nature and abuse he should be standoffish, rude, but yet intrigued, bi-polar between flirty and disgusted at himself, etc. not to mention extremely distrustful after finding out he was just Pock's side piece, but instead the character is just snobby.
James reminds me a lot of Saint, not someone you would normally think of being able to pull off tying to be sexy and seductive, but after awhile Saint learned to pull it off quite effectively. James tried to do it in ep 2, but honestly failed at it and most likely that's because of not having a quality acting coach and director that bothered to take the time to walk through the scene properly.
Net and James do have moments of chemistry together, or at the very least moments of potential, but they aren't there yet. Some more work during the workshop and proper tutors would have gone a long way. Net is very obviously carrying this series.
This really had the potential to be a really good series, but it's definitely in the wrong hands when it comes to the production company, which is very typical of all the projects they do.
Can someone tell me what happened with Line TV? I keep seeing people say that itโs not a thing anymore.
Sorry I know this is really old, but to answer your question, Line TV Thailand ceased operations because of increased competition, costs for content, etc.
I really hope Tar (Noey) does another BL series in the future where he has a serious character. He's nailed the goofy, flirty, dweeb, etc. role perfectly and would love to see what he does in a more mature role.
I agree so much with your comments! I am not understanding the hate on the ABC Gang or the side couples. If you…
There is a whole scene with Cake (Santa) talking to Eiw (Earth) in English in 12%....
That's all I'm going to say about it, you'll know the one when you get to it, and you'll know exactly why I mentioned it after you do... and yes, they did post a highlight clip of it on youtube for people to watch that scene again and again.. lol
Nan should have dropped the exam, run off with Chompu to the Farm and been written out around episode 5 or 6 at the latest, other than the momentary appearance here and there for special occasions. Champ's depression, his conversation with Name, and his road to healing should have been handled a lot sooner on and more in depth...seriously were the sponsors paying them per tear he shed? Em and Name.....seriously 14 episodes, 15 years later for something that lasted all of ten seconds....nah, their journey together was the best of the series yet they constantly barely had time together. All the time wasted on Nan could/should have been spent on these two and Gun X Golf.
Champu and her brother had less personality than the damned pickled fish that should have had a higher place in the credits than those two, but other than them (and Mean just being so-so), it was a really good cast. The problem with it is the writing and execution was so poor that it really was a waste of potential of the story plot and the acting talent.
I love slow burn / slice of life series, but they tried to shove so many characters in and give them all so much screen time that in the end, nothing went anywhere.
