Is his character supposed to have a side story? They acted like something was up in that scene at the cafe.
Mike was originally cast with Krist as a lead role in "Be My Favorite" but then was replaced with Fluke Gawin. That's what I was referring to about him being paired with Krist.
Fluke X Ohm (Thi X Zo) having all the chemistry while Force X Book still have none. Granted this is still miles better than Enchante so I guess that's something and Force X Book do play well off each other, just not in any type of romantic / flirty way. Honestly the supporting cast is carrying the series, hopefully Fluke X Ohm will get their own series after this.
Mike keeps getting stuck in support role hell along with a few other GMMTV actors. Personally I think with the right script and partner (definitely not Krist) he could definitely pull off a leading role.
So one of the characters is so new to the house that he hasn't even had any official work yet and none of the writers, etc. for this series thought to use his just coming into the house as a way to start the first episode off and introduce the characters. This whole first episode came off as if it was more like half way through the series than being the first episode.
the only redeeming quality of this series is that it's over. lol This could have been done in an hour, an hour and a half max at it would have been better for it. You can't take something with no substance and try to spread it like butter over too much toast or in this case over 6 episodes. Luckily there are many other series that have taken on the whole parents, etc. don't accept our same-sex relationship story and done it so much better.
I stuck it out until the end because I normally really like Rookie Thailand and even when the series isn't the greatest there's at least some glimmer of the potential of the actors.
Sooo...just like their series this was Kluen/Joong doing all the work while Dao/Dunk stands/lays around looking cute. I like both of them, but they either need better material or different working partners.
I agree about James. What do you mean saying this was the second time they were paired together? Are you talking…
I definitely agree that they were better in "Catch Me Baby", but I think it's more that they didn't have any serious intimate scenes, etc. in that one. James just seems so uncomfortable doing the intimate scenes
Net REALLY carried this series with his acting and the effort he put in to try to make his pairing with James work. I have nothing against James, but Net really needs a working partner that can play off of him better. Every scene, every episode Net REALLY looked like he was King, like he was really truly, madly, deeply in love with Uea. James just looked like he was uncomfortable and struggling not to break character and that was a James thing, not an Uea character thing.
This is their second time being paired together, there should have been some improvement in their dynamic by now and that's not even getting into the intimate scenes.
Yeah the way it was being worded, etc. in the social media posts made it sound like it was another episode and since series have done that before it made it even more confusing.
This script really needed a few more iterations before it was ready to go and then a director and production team that knew what to do with it. That said, the cast makes it worth watching, especially Cooper and Marc.
I thought it was funny the one time they didn't blur out the TV and it was for 55:15, I wonder if that series was an inspiration to the writer of this or if it was just a nod to another time travel series.
Yeah some do and some don't. I think it partly has to do with the distribution platform(s) for the series. GMM has a big enough worldwide audience that they air all of their series on Youtube anyways so for them it doesn't matter. If it's a series where their main distribution is on-air tv then they'll skip for the holiday, but then the worldwide streaming platforms might (but typically not) air the episode that week anyways. It all depends on the agreements they have and platforms.
this show is literally making NO NOISE... its so lackluster
I really hope Net (King) gets another series with better executed material because he's the only good thing about this series. His acting in this and "Catch Me Baby" was great
I liked Net and James as a working couple in "Catch Me Baby" but like you said, this is just meh.
Is there another series where Itt and Day are introduced (like how they got together) or are all the flashbacks…
In ep 2 they showed a photo of Day, Itt, and Itt's niece, that was from "Unforgotten Night" and also the Mr. Kamol they keep talking about and will be showing up next episode is also from "Unforgotten Night" however Itt and Day were only on that for a brief amount of time as a side couple so you're not really missing anything. Also from the preview for next weeks episode they replaced the actor for Mr. Kamol as well. There's not really anything in "Unforgotten Night" to make it worth watching it just for the handful of minutes they were on it.

I've had it happen a few times where I'll be looking for an episode for hours only to realize it's one that's skipping for a holiday.
The one plus side to it is that it's given me a chance to learn more about their holidays, I'll find out which one it is and then look it up.
