nope it's actually only 6 episodes according to their facebook post, unless it's being set up as possibly having a season 2. I really don't see how they can finish everything up in one more episode.
They better not be f'ing with Ryou and Mai, just let them be awkward and cute the whole series through. Nack needs to quit his shit already, he confessed, he was rejected, now get the f over it and either learn to be happy being just friends or walk away. I wouldn't mind seeing Ryou and Mai getting their own spin-off series continuing from this, even if it is another mini-series. Those two are so awkwardly cute together, which I'm not sure if that's solely because of the characters or because it's their first time working together.

I know we're supposed to feel sorry for Patis and all....but nope, he's just as much at fault for the whole situation. The guy has no concept of work / life balance (yeah demanding job and all but there were plenty of times he could have gone home, etc. and didn't)... hell people pay more attention to their booty calls than he does his BF and he wonders why this happened.

This series is listed as being 6 episodes, we still have no clue what the deal with the cafe lady is, what her motivation is, and what's the price for these wishes. If they're not going to lay it out then what was even the point and if they are, it's stupid to wait until the last episode and rush it all in.
New REALLY needs to learn to stop, take a breath, calm his nerves, and gather his thoughts.
When he was trying to explain why he was going to play Porsche and about his female / LGBTQ friends I completely understood where he was trying to go with it, but he jumbled his words / thoughts with his nervousness. Porsche isn't your stereotypical hard ass mafia type, he has a softness to him that blends softness and masculinity in a balanced way. New looks like he's be a typical masculine bad ass but his personality has that bit of felinity to it as well. Men are taught from a very young age you should be like this, act like this, etc. and a lot of gay men end up overcompensating for that in their personalities when they do come out...they go from being forced to acting one way to acting the complete opposite, and some of the times it's just as much of an act. New was trying to explain to them that his friends think he has that balance in himself and doesn't fit the stereotype...just like Porsche.
The way the judges went off on him like that was ridiculous, rude, and so counter-productive in their mock attempts at getting these guys to open up and find themselves not only as people but also as actors. What they should have done was finished the presentation, dismissed Jet and then all sat down with New in a more relaxed manner and asked him to really explain what he was trying to convey properly.

This whole third chapter (and series in general) has nothing to do with finding out if these guys have the potential to be great actors, this is all about pushing the ones BOC already know they want and trying to build a fanbase for them and to cash grab through votes, final ep, merch, etc.
The entire series right from the first episode should have been getting paired up, working with acting coaches, etc. as the main focus with the mini-games tossed in one or two an episode just to give them a break from the workshops and to get to know each other better.
Apparently 2023 is the year of secondary couples carrying a series.
Bell (Reaow) and Bhu (Mai) are absolutely carrying this series every episode so far. I don't know how long the workshops, etc. were for this series but it's really impressive that for his first ever series, Bell has managed to have such a strong dynamic and chemistry with Bhu. I'd actually really like to see these two together again as the mains in their own series.
Thana and Patis really just need to call it quits already, it's like they're both being held hostage by the other instead of being in a loving relationship. I get that a lot of it is probably on purpose because of the characters, but every scene with Mig (Thana) and Gun (Patis) just seems completely off acting wise, which considering it's his first role the problem should be Mig, but it's actually Gun who has some credits to his name that isn't up to par with Mig. Once Mig and Bank (Time) get on screen together it's easy to see they are much more on par with each other acting wise, and they have really good on screen chemistry together.
Considering the length of these episodes, they really need to start giving us some crumbs about the cafe lady. Hell even "The Miracle OF Teddy Bear" gave us more crumbs about Tofu's transformation than this has so far. Maybe there's going to be more than the 6 episodes that MDL has listed, but either way it's getting too dragged out without having any clues so far.

Maybe Easy Ferrer was the one that wrote the story for Zeke and Fifth and the other writer was the one that wrote the rest of the series. Either way there's no way the quality of that script the way it was executed should have been given a pass without major rewriting.

I REALLY hope that's the case with the writer because they do have some good actors, but even the best actors can only do so much with total shit writing and directing. Hell I think they put more effort into directing the ChukChuk scenes than anything else in the whole series, well other than the Zeke X Fifth NC scenes, which they probably improvised the hell out of. lol
When the main couple take 3rd seat to the secondary couple and a freaking 10 billionth timed kidnapped dog the entire series...actually I take that back, more like fifth seat because Miss Becky and Marco and Kim and Drake had more screen time and relationship development than Win and Sky.
This was definitely a case of a production house trying to be production and talent agency all in one, having way too many talents under contract that they have no idea what to do with combined with terrible writing and directing. When you have characters repeating the same thing multiple times in a single conversation and do that all series long with every character, that's not trying to stress a point or an emotion, that's just bad writing and padding out the script.
Zeke and Fifth were the reason to watch this series, Jericho Del Rosario and Hiro Shimoji carried it hard and luckily their hard work is about to pay off as their getting their own series. Unfortunately it's a continuation off of this series, which means it'll probably come with the same baggage of having way too many unnecessary characters and the same mess of too many pointless side stories. The other problem with the upcoming continuation is that is seems to be a typical jealousy storyline, which lets face it, gets overused way too much and usually poorly.

Probably because Pat has no idea how he feels. He's all over the place trying to figure things out, making a mess of it all, and confusing the hell out of himself even more in the process. He's very reactive to situations and very emotionally at that, but he never takes the time before reacting to figure things out so he just goes from one situation to the next, having them all pile up.

No clue WTF the judges were going on about with Bump and New's scene. Their scene easily had the biggest switch in props, background, etc. and yet they brought even more emotion into it and they weren't afraid to go with the flow and actually do a real kiss, etc. which made it so much more natural. The whole well you didn't have to actually kiss that's what camera angles, etc. are for was such B.S. especially coming from two guys that were freaking in various levels of nakedness and slobbering all over each other in their series.
The more this goes on the more it's obvious that Pond and Mile already have in their minds who they want to work with, so why even bother with this show.
Ta being added was such a BS move because it's obvious he was only added to get more people aka his fans interested in this series and more so to get people to hand over money for the votes.
Zenra Meshi really needed to take lessons from "Bokura no Shokutaku" (Our Dining Table). This started off good but then they had to throw the script in the blender and then tried to spice it up with the same old tired bs plots that every other bl with the creativity of a nail use.
The biggest drama Bokura no Shokutaku threw at the characters was a pint sized Tane causing chaos and their own fears of being happy and it worked perfectly with nothing else needed. Zenra Meshi could have gone with the same formula (minus the Tane part).
This is like getting in a fight with another kid at school when you're younger and the teacher decides your punishment is that they're going to force you to be friends so to get the teacher off your backs, you pretend to be friends in front of the teacher and then instantly go back to being enemies the rest of the time.
They didn't even believably pull off that they were friends, let alone that they developed feelings for each other and started dating. The writing for the last episode wouldn't have been bad, if it had taken up the last two episodes instead of being so rushed. Like others said, this really needed more episodes, but it wouldn't have helped the acting at all. The story had potential, but it was let down in so many ways.
