Oh hell compared to Dinosaur Love this is an award winner!!! lol
My guess is they're all too busy drooling over Mos Kitrawee Jiangthanaroj (Chalam) to the point where their brains have completely shut down....only thing that explains it. lol
Hopefully now with the introduction of the new character in episode five, people will finally start realizing what this season has been trying to tackle with Minato and Shu the whole series. Since this is apparently something that's only been obvious to a few who aren't older gay men, hope this makes it more obvious.
Yes it's an incredibly slow burn two steps forward three steps back look at the generational and cultural shifts in how men and even more specifically gay men view expressing their emotions and how they view the acceptance of being gay and in a same-sex relationship. The first season was all about Shin being underaged and his feelings for Minato being forbidden, and now this season is all about Minato and Shu learning to accept that what they were taught their whole lives. The whole men not expressing emotions, men not having certain thoughts about other men, that being gay and in a same-sex relationship is something to be shameful and embarrassed about are all things they were taught from their elders and cultural norms as well. As with Shin and Asuka, we see those shifts in their characters ability to be open and honest with their feelings and now with the Doctor character having a different experience from being abroad and showing his openness of being expressive in public.
As someone who was born in the 80's and is a gay male, these are things I understand and recognize easily as growing up in that time we still had to deal with the gay panic caused by the AIDS crisis, conservatives, etc. It went from this is wrong and you can change it, to if you can't change it then don't speak of it, to a slow acceptance and that's from someone growing up in the USA were cultural shifts tend to happen much quicker. I was lucky in that my mother is a lesbian who only got married, etc. because she wanted to have kids so when I was growing up she was the counter balance to all of the things the world tried to pressure about being gay.

The problem with this season of the series is that at the beginning many weren't looking at it beyond the surface cuteness, etc. of the characters and/or just didn't have the experience to understand what they were actually trying to portray. This is an LGTBQ series first, a BL secondary.
Actors like dunk should still be playing side characters that don’t need to do much but just show up and say…
I do think Joong has the potential to become a really good actor, but there's work things that need to change. Stop partnering him with Dunk first off so he stops getting type cast in the same roles because Dunk is only capable (so far) of playing 1 dimensional character types. Then give him a proper acting coach that'll work with him beyond just whatever series he's cast for so he can actually develop his skills. The last thing is stop putting him into every music concert, etc. they concoct so he actually has time to develop as an actor.
The real problem is GMM is focused only on being the biggest in the Thai BL industry and to them that means quantity over quality and milking working couples, etc. for all they can if they're popular, no matter if they're good working together or not.
I REALLY hope Joong has good health insurance because he's definitely going to have back issues for life after carrying this series and working couple in general.
Lol. Hopefully he'll be getting main lead BL or non BL roles even without krist
Yeah hopefully, There's a few Thai actors that get paired with a different working partner in every series. I'd love to see them do that with Gawin so he can really show off his range or at least find a partner he has a better on screen dynamic with.
Saint Pisaeng and Naughty Devil Pisaeng deserve their own holiday.... lol
I really hope all of the casting directors that passed up on Gawin as lead role in a BL series are kicking themselves after seeing this. I'm still not sold on Gawin and Krist together, but if it means more of Gawin getting lead BL roles then it'd be worth dealing with.
I am lowkey feeling bad for Su Yu's mom in this episode... hmmm she deserves better
nope.....she made her bed, now she can lay in it......cold and alone....
Su Yu's father is busting his ass to give his son the best life he can....all she did was hop on the first rich dick that would look her way and all she does is look down on Su Yu's father.
to everyone, can u tell me what did su yu figured out that made him 10 x sweeter?? like what did that note said?…
The conversation with Duo made him realize that Wu Bi didn't like her and also make Su Yu realize that she was no longer in his heart anymore either....the implication is that Wu Bi is the one he has feelings for now.
The punch was because Su Yu was angry / jealous / confused thinking that Wu Bi had feelings for her and not Su Yu.

This isn't being broadcast in China, so it's not regulated by Chinese censorship. Now that being said, there was the subtitle in episode 2 or 3 I think it was where they called Taiwan "Taiwan, province of China". and also cross dressing isn't looked down on in media like same-sex relationships / LGBTQ+ is. Cross dressing in plays, etc., especially in traditional Chinese plays is very common. Keep in mind, this is the same writer and pretty much a rewrite / re-telling of Addicted which was banned, so chances are they are going to skirt the line very closely on what they can get away with without fear of retaliation, but who knows, they may decide to just say the hell with it and completely shatter the unwritten rules of it all.
Personally I could care less if there's a kiss, full out declaration of love, etc. it's all so obvious and everything about it is so perfect the way it's been that it may be better off to not have those things.
Ugh, it's Mame. I just want to know when and how the rape is going to happen, and if it's going to be a gangbang.…
They've been keeping MAME pretty well neutered and on a short leash lately so hopefully we'll eventually get a series without all of her normal BS. lol

yeah that's right, I said it. lol
well that's just one of many famous working couples that aren't up to the hype, there's many others. lol
