Another show by Name, another nonsensical story. Honestly, when she's not writing rape-y/dubious consentual "romances",…
I believe the answer to that is because she was either one of or the first Thai Y writers and that's why.
She's a very traditional Yaoi writer and in that has failed to realize that Yaoi (very fetetished typically homophobic in it's depictions of mlm relationships) has evolved into BL which in turn is evolving more into normalizing healthy LGBTQ representation.
It's only now in these co-productions where MAME has been neutered and kept on a short leash that her series are leaving out all of the rape, etc. she writes into all of her works.

HOW DARE YOU INSULT THE SKYRIM NPCS BY COMPARING THEM TO THIS!!!! LOLI never thought another series would compare…
Whelp.......you got the food porn part right at least. lol j/k
If the director and acting coach for "Bite Me" were boiled in oil and the entire thing then completely redone, yeah it definitely would have been a really good series.

DO IT!!! I DARE YOU, NO DOUBLE...NO TRIPLE DOG DARE YOU!!! lol
Bet you won't last an episode!! lol
But no seriously, if you do watch "Bite Me" make sure you watch "Escape to Homestay" afterwards so you can see that Mark can actually act and string together more than one word at a time in a sentence. lol
This should have been a train wreck that you knew was about to happen but couldn't look away with all of the things it tried to be, and yet somehow it all worked together perfectly. I don't even like comedy...this I would watch again.
It was well worth the wait to be able to watch it.
no no no just no, how could you forget the middle name child!?!?!?First it was P'Dean, then it was CAKE CAKE CAKE…
I still really want to know how long it was (if ever) before poor Santa was able even to look at a cake let alone eat one without having CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE flashbacks. lol
The saddest thing about this series is the best performances are coming from the actor that plays See-Kram who is barely on screen but brings all the crazy and the one that plays Chalam who barely says anything besides omelet and I'm hungry.
hmm something seemed so familiar about this then it hit me the characters and their interactions remind me of…
HOW DARE YOU INSULT THE SKYRIM NPCS BY COMPARING THEM TO THIS!!!! LOL
I never thought another series would compare to all the long pauses, etc. that made "Bite Me" pure torture to get through, this said let me show you how it's done. lol
I'm watching this for Ping, but I think that all the actors are doing a decent job. Beam and Bright, who are talented…
I'd love to know what poor Beam did to make the universe constantly piss in his cheerios and stick him in 4 back to back low quality productions. lol
This and The Tuxedo are the only two things I've seen Ping in and let's be honest, The Tuxedo was one of those series that you watched and forgot it right after, so that's why I'm more interested in watching this for him and seeing how he is as an actor.
Six episodes in and I'm only left with one question, who did the director sleep with and/or pay off in university to get a passing grade assuming they actually graduated?
We've seen enough work from the screenwriter to know they're pretty solid in their quality and yeah some of the actors aren't the greatest, but some of them have shown enough potential that the quality of this series has to come down to the director and possibly some what the acting coach.
This has ended up being one of those series that you start with the mindset that even if it starts off rough it might get better as it goes, but then you get to the point where because it's a short series you stick with it to the end, even when the quality doesn't improve / gets worse.
Hopefully we'll get to see Ping again in something better where we can really get a good look at his potential because this series is definitely not it.
If light kisses passed China's censorship code why did the show wait 22 episodes to include them? I can't think…
You also have to take into consideration from has been said that there is a censored and uncensored version of this series with the uncensored version coming out after the censored version aired. There could be some rather substantial additions in the uncensored version in the earlier episodes.
I'm honestly just taking the ending as it is and forming a narrative where they both end up happy. As much as…
So at the very end of the credits there's a block of text when translated thanks to google lens says that this is a co-production between three different production companies, one from Hong Kong, one from Singapore, and one from Thailand.
This and the fact at the series wasn't produced with the intentions of broadcasting in China should help insulate them from any issues for a season 2. If the worst did happen, because of the mult-national production aspect that gives them more options, even the possibility of reach out to other countries like Taiwan, etc. if they really needed a safe harbor to film the next season.
that said, after the original Addicted fiasco, I can't imagine that they haven't planned for any possible situations.
All throughout season 1 their chemistry together just kept building and building, never peaking like many do. I can only imagine what it's going to be like during season 2.
