So the kid playing Tane is 7...so this series needs to run another 10 years until he brings home his first boyfriend/girlfriend and tells the story of how his brother met his boyfriend all because of a stomach and a grenade. lol
Seriously though I could easily watch another season or more of this series of them just going on having adventures, dates and eating together.
The cast really deserves all the awards possible for their amazingly heroic work on holding together a series will more holes in it than the best swiss cheese in the world. All the duct tape in the world couldn't have held it together as good.
We all know with this being a Thai BL that it's just a matter of time before we get to the cursed episode. Personally I think this is one of the rare series that doesn't need any more drama beyond the whole Tai being cautious when it comes to love and the side couple realizing the reason why they fight is because they like each other.

Whelp they've already taken the script, thrown it into a blender, pulsed the living f out of it and then tried to tape it back together so hey why not add in a Prim is suddenly in love with Sky.
Hell the only saving grace to this series was Zeke and Fifth and they've even given their storyline the blender treatment. We get all this half-assed lead up to some sort of drink mix contest only for it to turn out to be a freaking school talent competition and suddenly it's the end of the freaking world because Zeke had to work.

First episode in and I already want to shove a pear up Kawi's tailpipe until he chokes on it and can never say the name Pear ever again...ohh the flashback of "My Only 12%" and freaking CAKE, CAKE, CAKE, CAKE..... lol
Surprisingly enough Gawin and Krist actually have some chemistry going on and it's only the first episode, talk about an odd pair, now just to see if they can manage it with the frenemies to more than friends transition. Regardless of how it actually ends up, at least Gawin FINALLY got a lead role like he's long deserved.
Back when Ohm was a kid he used to tease/prank/bully other kids in school. There was an incident where he apparently teased a special needs kid at school and was disciplined by the school and his parents at the time when it happened. Someone (not the kid he teased) decided to drag up his past mistakes and it created a whole big huge scandal over the whole thing.
Ohm has always been upfront about his troubled past as a kid, has always apologized for it, and even asks his fans to donate to charity for special needs kids with him. You know how it goes...apparently no one is ever allowed to make mistakes, apologize, learn from them and move on. Anyways, because of the whole thing coming out Ohm has received threats, etc. and lost a lot of promotional jobs, etc. over the whole thing.
What I meant about Ohm's personal sexual orientation is that I don't know if he's Gay, Straight, or Bi in real life, but he's one of the best at portraying Gay/Bi characters and I hope he doesn't decide to stop taking BL roles because this BL partnership seems to not have worked out either.
Nah @Drama_Dream was right, I meant to say I hope he doesn't decide not to do another bl series because of all of this. It was poor wording on my part to begin with and then also my fault for not reading it through before posting.
A lot of people keep speculating that it has something to do with that fight they had at the one event last year, but they hashed that all out and put that to bed at their first fan meet so I doubt it's that.
Another bit of speculation is it all stems from the bullshit "scandal" that Ohm had about his past, the way Nanon didn't publicly defend him, nor did their manager leading to think there was an issue of favoritism with Nanon and their manager.
One thing that I've noticed is that Ohm is the one that went to GMM and took videos of the 5/20 fan project that was in the GMM lobby, that Ohm was the one that reposted the Our Skyy 2: Bad Buddy trailer. I think whatever the bad blood between them is now that it's mostly on Nanon's side and/or it could just be that the contractual Bad Buddy obligations are coming to an end and he just wants to wash his hands of the whole thing.
The truth is we'll probably never know for certain what actually happened, but the one thing I do know is I feel bad for Ohm over it. He wanted out of doing BL series partially because none of the working partnerships he was put in lasted and the other part was he wanted to take on different types of roles. I hope this doesn't prevent him from ever considering doing another BL because no matter what his actual sexual orientation is, he's one of the best out there in doing LGB roles.
You barely get into the first episode and the "This is clearly a Pinoy rip on the "HeartStopper" visual format" hits you like a ton of bricks, and you know what...that's perfectly okay because for this one, it works.
The one obvious serious con to this series is the episodes are WAY too short. These episodes really needed to be 30 mins to an hour long and no I don't mean by airing two episodes a week like they are. At times they're trying to rush everything into the 18 minutes runtime that the acting and editing can come off as clunky, rushed, and scenes that needed the extended run to really deliver the full effect of the emotional parts don't hit nearly as hard as they could because it's too compacted for time. A perfect example of this is when Nikko and Eli were in Nikko's room and Eli was trying to get him to eat and cheer him up. Eli gives this whole speech about seizing the moment and still being the positive, bubbly Nikko and then turns around to leave so Nikko could have a ten second cry and then come out of his room in his wheelchair for the first moment to eat and proclaim he's seizing the moment. That scene really needed to be extended, Eli needed to be more defiant against Nikko and "seize the moment" to be the emotional support Nikko needed, refuse to leave, give him a good cuddle, let/make him ball his eyes out knowing he's still there by his side...then give him a few minutes alone to collect himself, and then come out of his room and finish off the scene.
It's not bad so far, but it's a forget it right after it's over series. At the half way point of the series it should have some lasting quality to it but it's just not there, might end up being one that's better in the movie format than the series format.
So far the only one I've really liked was "Our Skyy 2: Never Let Me Go". "Our Skyy 2: Vice Versa" would have been a close second if not first, until the whole kid being a hoax thing / prank thing.
I have serious doubts that the "Bad Buddy" episodes will be any better. No matter how talented of actors Ohm and Nanon are, there's no way the chemistry to going to be the same considering their off-screen situation. And then of course there's the whole hey let's go back to when they were still on school together, etc. and rehash the same old eng vs arch rivalry when we already know how it all comes out in the end. The ending of Bad Buddy where the parents pretty much figured out what was still going on between them was a much better starting point for the Our Skyy 2 episodes. The parents finally putting aside their hatred for the sake of their kids, having a secret truce between the families and plotting to catch Pat and Pran in some scheme as a way to show them they accept their relationship now would have been a much more fulfilling storyline to go with.
They just need to make a "The Wild Adventures Of Chukchuk and Friends" youtube series and leave the whole missing dog plot out of every freaking series they make.
Don't get me wrong, I love animals and all, but stop using the dog as a crutch for bad script writing.
