Ina knew the real BSE so when he was replaced, she was aware of it. But the adults were acting too normal. Ofc some time went by before the grand father let the fake BSE meet people but still. She recognised he was a different child.
She then told her parents and BSEās grand father about it but the parents didnāt take her seriously.
The grandfather was not happy about the fact that she knew and talked about it. Heās the one who caused their car accident, the one that left Ina deaf and killed her brother.
After that she was really scared of the grandfather because, if I remember well, he mad her understand heās the one who caused the car crash.
Then she was engaged to BSE however she didnāt want to marry him because she knew he was not the real one and she didnāt know who he was really.
So she told him before the wedding that she was going to reveal it . Then., as BSE knew as about the accident, he used it to scare her out of it (disclosing his true identity). He kind of threatened her. Then he heard something about Hee Joās mom planning on marrying her off to some politician good family wanted to marry their daughters to.
So BSE made the deal with Ina. Heād let her leave and even help her run away. And instead of her, he would marry Hee Joo.
Ina agreed and left. She was more worried for herself then. However she returns and tells everything to HJ. She loves HJ and regrets abandoning her. She knew about HJ being able to talk but didnāt say anything. The fact that HJ was āmuteā is what allowed both sisters to get close.
After BSE is presumed dead, HJ falls into depression but her sister Ina keeps visiting her and trying to help her. Sheās the only one HJ has left.

They assume itās the male lead. The female lead then proceeds to organise the funerals and she mourns him. She starts talking again and confronts her mother. She becomes depressed and her sister cannot help her get out of her apartment. Then she starts receiving calls from a non-identified number from abroad. Every time she picks up the phone, no one is talking but they keep calling her and she assumes itās the male lead and that heās alive. She goes to see his assistant whoās been in prison and who tells her that he also believes heās alive. She manages to find out where the number is coming from and she decides to go there where she finds the male lead. Itās a country at war and so the reunion is full of action at the end they go back to Korea and get married.
The mother was afflicted but at the same time, she wonāt admit it till the end, she was relieved. She was more devastated to have a replacement and to not be able to mourn her lost child.
The father as well was relieved.
Why is the mother doing this to the fake BSE?
She found her presumed dead son, and is manipulating him as well to expose the spokesperson. The real son thinks his mother is helping him get back his name and lost life but in fact that is not her intention. She just wants to destroy BSE (fake) and get revenge on her father in law. She doesnāt want to officially acknowledge her real son.
