Off topic question here.I wonder... there's a lot of slapping scenes in the dramas. Is it a cultural thing? Is…
Hmmm hard to say if it is a cultural thing, since I experienced this behavior and I am from a Slavic country and Slavic countries are not known for their gentle parenting. I think this kind of behavior can be seen all around the world.
Regarding the slap in the lobby, it is an assault, but remember, the one getting slapped must press charges in order for something to be done.
I don't see a reason why someone should boycott a drama because of slaps, honestly. The examples you have given include adult people, so if they have problem with it, they would be pressing charges.
With the pace things are going 8 episodes wont be enough to resolve anything. All current episodes are like a prologue I think? Heck, we arent even outside of the damn house, yet! If they do us dirty and end it on open ending only with promise of second season after trillion years, than I am going to be pissed. Either make it a full proper 16 episode drama, or give us early promise of season two. This reminds me of US TV series which almost always do this thing.
I have loved this drama so far BUT I have a hard-time believing in the new mad king persona.Although its completely…
We didnt see how he rules the country in EP4 so it is hard to say he is a mad king. The commoners said only that he likes to drink and engage with women, they didnt comment on his ruling yet, so we might see it in the next episodes :)
How good is the drama? How much of it focuses on revenge and romance? Will someone who isn't really into sageuks…
Hmm we are only on EP4 so hard to answer all of your questions. The plot is basically only truly starting at EP4 - the episodes before that kinda focus on the introduction to how the politic system works and who are the main characters. Currently, there is close to 0 romance, only previous infatuation from mostly female lead's side (no confession, or kisses as of EP4). I do quite myself loving the episodes, because they are very intense and each episode ends on a cliffhanger. The revenge did not start yet, so I do not know the intensity of it. About the badeuk, it doesn't heavily focus on the game's logistics, but later might with the way things are going. Currently it does serve as a connection link between the main leads.
And now she'll play the pregnancy card to gain sympathy 😑 I'll watch how far the wench can go 😑
I mean it is in our (Ji Won's) favor, because the trash is marrying her only for the baby hehehehe. Imagine when he learns that she was never pregnant!
The bio written here cannot be taken seriously.I checked namuwiki, where the person who has translated the bio…
Spreading false information is kinda a bummer though and may confuse the watchers and if I or others can help in making others understand the story more, I do not see it as an "extra" information. The role of the lady has been debated since the latest episode aired, and many were curious about her.
I have written down the sources, to back up my info, so you have a proof that you can take my words seriously.
Sorry, if my comment distracted others from your point.
