Her health condition is talked about in depth only in EP1 about first 20 minutes I think? After that the topics…
It is hard to say anything without spoiling things to you, but lemme just assure u that we dont need to wait till Ep16. We know already about how it will end regarding the health issue :) But if it makes you feel better of course you can wait ^^
I have always believed in the King even after the betrayal. I knew he probably was pretending to be a bad king…
Hmmm why should we brand him as a bad king? Temperamental, yes, but bad? His people are not in bad situation and he cares for his nation deeply. Just bcs he is strict I wouldnt brand him as a bad king :)
before I start watching...is this gonna be a sad ending? and how much romance has it been in here, is it mostly…
The romance is slooooow burn and becomes intense right at the middle of the show. So far, we don't know about the ending. I would say up until EP8 there are mostly palace politics I think and the whole planning of ''revenge''.
She didn't say concubine, she said consort. A consort is a formally married wife, I think
Btw, the title or name for the word ''consort'' is BI. Honestly, in history only King's Queen's had the BI added, but there are some exceptions, like King' Taejo's concubine Seong which was awarded with the title ''consort'' BUT the info variessss once again. Some say he never addressed her like that, so who knows?

She said ''hugung'' which is a concubine. The titles of woman in King's court as of ranks are listed below. Bin Gwiin Soui Sukui Soyong Sukyong Sowon Sukwon
Seungeun sanggung (favored palace maid) would be given an official concubine title and rank usually when given birth to a royal child and would start at the very bottom of the line ''sukwon''.
Everyone mentioned above had an official wedding ceremony with the king. The title ''consort'' wasn't always used in Joseon, some king's did omit it after dramatic even which I won't be mentioning it 'cause it's too long haha. Just know that having Queen, Consort and Concubines was originally a Chinese practice, and Joseon kings changed it and usually only had Queen and Concubines. SOME argue that concubines that were of yangban class could be considered as Joseon's consorts, but as I said, in records majority are written as hugung.
Back to the marriage, so as I said, all concubines had their ceremony with the king, or in other words were married to him. In fact, all palace maids were unofficially married to him, meaning no palace maid was allowed a relationship with a man, because all maids belonged to the king - not as slaves, but as a women.
omo what if she will re-enter the palace as a concubine or something?.. could very much e if they spent the night…
Yangban class was aristocratic class that kinda ruled over Joseon. They were on the top of the hierarchy chain. All the ministers you see in the palace, and even king himself are of yangban class. Back than concubines picked by Queen or Queen Dowager must have been of yangban class. Palace maids could become concubines even tho they were not of yangban class, but king himself had to pick them. The thing that happened in EP8 where Queen Dowager appointed Dong and sent her to king's chamber would have not happened in real life. Also, there are concubine ranks, and if a palace maid became a concubine she would be of lowest rank unless she gave birth to a boy.
The beginning of EP9
HDNSKSJDEKSNDJDKEKSNDDNSN
Jealousy meter is going to explode 🤣
I went to sleep later, BUT IDK WHY I WOKE UP AT 8 IN THE MORNING AHHHH
In Joseon what she did would be death worthy.
Sad, but true :/
So far, we don't know about the ending.

I am just very passionate about my field ehm....

Plus, he still doesn't know she is of yangban class.
I am very interested in how this will unfold >.< I CANNOT WAITTTTTTT
THEY KNOW SHE IS DELULU HAHAHA.
She has loooooooooong way to go hahaha.
Even if she kills the queen, she won't be capable of taking that position.
