I think part of the drama will have DFYC separated from THH on somewhat bad terms and gone to live with humans (there was a snippet of them meeting and going the opposite way with THH making a slight hand movement to reach out to DFYC). I just hope they resolve their issues better in the drama than what happened in the manhua. I'm too invested in this couple/drama to have to deal with a bad ending 😢

I don't think GuoGuo will change for TYY. I'm afraid that he'll be bitter/jealous because of TYY and Lai's closeness and will feel slighted. He might think that he lost TYY to Lai because she finds him not good enough and will do something big for revenge.

YM has always been gorgeous, but she is exceptionally beautiful as a fox spirit. The make-up and clothing suit her perfectly.

I always tell myself to wait until a series has released all episodes before I start watching, but i just couldn't resist taking a look at this one. Now, i have to suffer through the daily waiting

yeah , these CDramas tend to conveniently forgets important details. Who knows? As for angst, check out ep11 preview. Angst/miscommunication might be coming sooner rather than later but it looks like it gets resolved quickly by the next episode.

Do you mean if DFYC finds out that the tree needs his blood and will think that HH saved him just for that purpose? I don't think so. He might already know about that after the elder tried to sacrifice him and HH came to his rescue. Heck, even if he doesn't know and only finds out later, he should be thankful that she endangered herself by giving away her spirit bone first so he wouldn't need to be sacrificed.

What are you expecting from her? should she be grinning from ear to ear, throwing a tantrum, or crying her eyes out? She's playing the role of a Chief who has the entire weight of her people's well-being on her shoulder. Her character IS literally supposed to hide her emotions.

Some are just looking for anything to complain about, especially when FL is played by YM. Oh well, i'm just enjoying the drama a lot so far

I don't think she was much involved with his upbringing at all. He had more interactions with the other sisters, one teaching him magic and the other dealing with his finances. I feel like their interaction is more of a leader/subordinate nature rather than mother/son nature. Heck, the only personal interaction I remember from the first few episodes is she likes his roasted chicken, so in a sense he's taking care of her😂
