People know that there will be age gap since its a pairing between human/yao, that is NOT the problem. Its that…
But did she really raise him? She only let him stay in Tushan and even charge him rent. That's not what a mother would do.

Just watched 3 episodes and it's decent so far. Not bad to the point i wanna drop it yet it's not able to hook…
Did you see her change his diapers, nurse him, cook for him, take care of him when he'ssick, give him loving guidance? All these activities would constitute raising a child. She didn't do any of that (at least the drama didn't show). She just let him live there. I just can't see how you came up with the idea that she raised him.

ohh she raised him!!!!!!!!!! hahah kinky stuff!right along my alley!my soul is rotten , and will end up in hell…
I know right? If just letting him stay in Tushan means she raised him, I guess she did a lot raising as there are lots of fox spirits that were allowed to live in Tushan
Replying to Tushan Feng May 23, 2024
For them who complain about the fact that she litteraly raised him, did you ever watched the animation version…
And there is absolutely nothing in the first episode that shows that she Honghong raised him. Merely letting him stay in Tushan and letting him partake in the activities of other fox spirits does not constitute raising him. I didn't feel any caregiver-child relationship at all.

No one cares about the age gap. The fact of her raising him from his childhood is the problem.
It doesn't look like HongHong raised him. She just let him stay in Tushan. Did she cook for him? No. Did she live with him or take care of him when he's sick? didn't see it. There was absolutely no hints of her being his caregiver,

It turned out he is a good guy in the drama :)
You are right. I kind of forgot about all the parts that you mentioned because by that time TJH was getting on my nerves so much that i skipped most of his parts. I couldn't stand the guy and really didn't understand some of the viewers preferring him to YH.

Yeah I don't agree that he is a good guy either. I mean, he's not like a rapist or serial killer or anything, but his ethics are questionable at the very least. First, he hides his GF of 7 years from his snobby mom, then when he decides that he wants her after all (what about the mom now? Can he stand up to her?), he kicks his current GF to the side (a GF he probably got because his mom approves). Sorry, I guess he is decent as a human being, but I have to give him a 0 for husband/boyfriend material.

I was trying to figure out why Yang Hua disappeared from Qing Shi's life for 7 months.I think I understand after…
That's actually a very interesting take. At least the 7 months away would make sense because I have always wondered why 7 months and not 6 or 8 or whatever. So like YH wait for the 18 months and see if QS still loves him and wants to be with him or she sticks with her belief that a couple will fall out of love after 18 months and send him packing. Jeez, what if she sticks with her belief? What the heck would he do with the renovated apartment? Still live there and see her everyday? 😂

Exactly! He went from the perfect husband every girl dreams of to red flag real quick.
I so agree with you! I would never jump into his arms the way QS did. At the very least, I would need a period for me to learn to trust him again. I know he hasn't been unfaithful and all, but he sure made her think that way. Some people argue that he's only doing what she had done to him all along, but I disagree. If she ever made him insecure, she did it unintentionally and always told him that she was not interested in rekindling her relation with TJH. And to be honest, I thought YH moved on from that jealousy phase a while back when they had their first night together and when they talked after the hotpot incident. On the other hand, YH was very cryptic about his relationship with YY when QS asked. I mean, would it be too much for him to just open his mouth and answer a simple question truthfully? He lied, denied, deflected, or plainly ignore her questions. I mean what woman in their right mind would not be suspicious in that kind of situation? I don't care how sweet he has been, but not answering a simple question and leaving with his ex the way he did while knowing that QS was looking are very bad moves and grounds for a real breakup.

Yeah if it was that easy, divorce rate would be going thru the roof.

Oh i'm different! I hate open-ending the most. I always ask why they couldn't at least spare a minute or two to let viewers know that the couple is together. So at least here I got my minute or 2 of reconciliation, and now i get greedy and i'm asking for more. 😊

It's funny i had the same questions about divorces in China. Apparently, according to Cdrama, all you have to do is go the family registration center with your little booklet and tell the workers there that you want a divorce and it's done. It can't be that easy in real life, right? Where I live, a couple without kids needs to show that they have separated for at least 6 months before being granted a divorce. And that separation period increases to 1 year if the couple has kids.

Anyone knows?

Shit,i am so excited to watch this & noona romance is fav start was so good the their c drama usual route... ruined…
I swear they should hire any of us to write their ending, and we'll do a better job. Heck, I would even offer my services for free 😊 In all seriousness, the drama was so good, characters well thought out, actors had lots of chemistry, everything was going well and then BAM! they hit us with the cdrama curse. I mean it's an happy ending so i'll take it over sad or open ending, but i really wish they did away with some of the side stories (Brother and sister-in-law, I'm looking at you!) and save some rooms for our main leads to properly work out their problems as opposed to the out-of-nowhere reconciliation we got.

loved most of it but hated the ending of forcing an idea of love form rather then letting it develop naturally.
I agree! For the first 35 or so episodes, their love developed so naturally, and all of the sudden, the writer thought it was a good idea to stir up troubles and use jealousy as a way to get them back together
