I wanted to skip the scenes with the neighbors and the police because I knew it would make me angry, but I didn't.…
It gives us a vivid image of the life and feelings of a hearing impaired person. How the world looks for him, how his life is affected by his problem, his personal philosophy because he is a very inteligent and educated person, a life without expectations and giving up the hope for a normal life as we, the lucky ones, understand "normal" - love, family, etc. We take this luck for granted and have no idea what a storm of feelings, frustrations, fears and disappointments is hidden in their silence. Those neighbours are plain stupid, especially that granny that has no control over her grandson.
Love this so much. In Top 10 of the year for me, unless it suddenly goes downhill. First two episodes though --…
A lot of crap was produced this year. Here and there some beautiful pieces of art. I wonder why people would spend money on garbage, maybe they have too much and want to get rid of it :) Even a low budget series/movie means a pretty amount of money. It's like a black hole. This one is promising but there is time in the remaining 14 episodes to disappoint. Hope not. I expect that her parents will not approve and they will interfere to put a stop on their relationship. It's a classic move in Asian stories. Greetings from Denmark :)
I really can't stand how the relationships in this drama are childish and immature.
Both are extremely suspicious on eachother and they are speaking mostly in their own heads instead to communicate and speak loudly what they have to say or it bothers them. All plot of this crappy series is based on this. When you behave like them, you don't need enemies from outside to crush your relationship. Your own stupidity is enough.
Agree with you, but isn't this the "fuel" that keeps them alive and in the public's attention? There are 2 official…
You need to stop because you became hysterical. From my side, you have all my compassion. Keep your tone down, be polite, screaming doesn't mean you're right. I told you above that I am NOT a fan. I gave my opinion about the situation created and not about the 2 people involved in it. You can read, right?
And yes, David: everybody having a different opinion are stupid, only you are smart. Real life and no K-drama: 56 years old here, 20 years of marriage still going strong, 1 teenager son. This is the "idiot teen girl" and the "butt hurt fan" and all that bla bla bla you're babbling here. Take a break.

He lives in a glass house, I presume. And throws stones. I am "people like you", he says I don't know anything about the 2 VIPs in discussion. While he doesn't know me either :)) God knows how his mind works, to twist like that my words.
Have a great weekend! :) Life is too short to give a damn on this kind of crap.

People like me?! What have I said? That they should keep their private life private if they don't want toxicity? What is toxic in this? You should read my comments again and don't cast "poison" on them, they were not meant to be toxic. You are the perfect example of one who sees ghosts everywhere. I am not even a fan of them, I speak about the situation, not the persons. The more they give attention to those toxic fans and give out explanations and announcements about their private life, the better access and opportunities those fans and tabloids have. I was polite to you, said my own opinion in a civilised way. I expect from a civilised person the same.

If there are some that can manage, that means it's possible if you put some effort in it. They have the means and the money for making it possible. There are cameras everywhere for all big stars in the world, that doesn't mean you should come every week with an announcement about your love life. Only if you don't care about the consequences or you make it by purpose. Both of them have been in the business for many years, tons of ink were used to write their names in the media. They are not some beginners, they know very well the rules of the game. No victims.
HEY, "dear" commenters! Can you stop making assumptions? If you're not Ji Soo or Bo Hyun, you don't know sh*t…
Agree with you, but isn't this the "fuel" that keeps them alive and in the public's attention? There are 2 official announcements, issued by their own agencies. Not some dodgy tabloids. If they don't want comments about their relationships, should keep their private life private. Simple as that.
C'mon, I know it's your opinion but a 6 means an execrable quality on everything. The movie is an adaptation of…
The movie is almost 2 hours long already. I am sure that if there will be some sequels, Hazuko will show up at one point. Every producer/director has in mind his/her own view about how a certain piece of literature should be adapted for the screen. They insist on those issues they consider important and give up on those they think are not so. It's their decision, not viewer's. It's dictatorship :) They keep those things they think are possible to be generated for the screen and give up on those they think are not possible or they cost too much. What is so important to you is not important for them - in their version. For you is rushed and sloppy. I would have also liked to see exactly the books transposed on the screen, but I am realistic. I know they cannot please all people in the world...
I liked the actors, and it looked great, but they left so much out of the story. It was way too rushed… can’t…
C'mon, I know it's your opinion but a 6 means an execrable quality on everything. The movie is an adaptation of a book, that doesn't mean it should follow all in the book. And if we are honest, that's almost impossible to put on a screen all that "witchcraft" the gifted persons are creating. The movie translated on the screen what it could be done, there are budgets and a lot of other factors involved in making a movie. If you want perfection you will always be disappointed.
Well, I find some very general similarities with "A Discovery Of Witches" by Deborah Harkness :) Very beautiful and exciting books. There are also 3 seasons of series made after her books. But exactly like this movie, it's impossible to follow exactly a book and put all of it's content on the screen. Still OK, though.
Lots of misconceptions about subs in the comments. KissAsian, Dramacool, and other similar "public" streaming…
It's not about they make or not subs. I don't think the ordinary user cares who produces the subs/translation and how. But is interested to understand that translation.
the translations are very poor! lots of mistranslations in it...got me so confused! @.@
So true. I said the same and it seems I hurt some sensitive souls here :) But that's the truth. Finally watched the movie on dramacool and am very pleased with it, it gives a lot of sense. The movie is different to the manga and the anime series so for me was a little confusing with that ghastly translation. Have a great weekend! :) Greetings from Denmark.
Those neighbours are plain stupid, especially that granny that has no control over her grandson.
What about a crime, thriller or a war movie? All shall have low rates?
