And really bad French. And it's so obvious there is voice doubles for both of them. Sloppy job.
What is more hilarious is you wasting your time and energy to argue with me in favour of somebody I should suppose you don't know. It's like you know exactly this person's intentions and reasonings and you need to explain me what that person had in mind. If I close my eyes, I could imagine you and joec88 typing in front of the same computer (different shifts) or at adjacent computers ... lool
I consider this ping-pong pointless, you will always find some arguments like "it's not that deep", trying to make me believe something I would never believe. Taking point by point and giving me "reasons" for somebody "you don't know".
You have no idea how much manipulation, propaganda, censorship, influencers, "keyboard workers" etc. I have seen in my life. I stop here. It's worthless.
And really bad French. And it's so obvious there is voice doubles for both of them. Sloppy job.
Wasn't that more fair and normal to say "Yes, it's really bad French and sloppy dubbing" instead of throwing with garbage in other people? Maybe is in the context but to belittle others to cover your own trash it's stupid. And that "for a Chinese audience" smells so shady, in the direction of "for Chinese only" (stupid nationalism). Instead of being happy that people from the whole world have the desire to watch Chinese movies. Some of them I found quite good.
Anyway, it's weird this person chose to comment under my posting only and not about the series, using a profile created only few hours earlier. My French language criticism was more important for them than to express their thoughts about the production in general. Even if I was not happy with the French and the poor dubbing, still have given a 7.5 - which in my world is a very OK rating.

Wow... you've just started this profile today (10th of June 2025) and already found me.... Loool... There are other 1126 comments here and you found just me.
"Chinese audience". Really? Where is stated that? If I can watch it that means there are many others like me being able to watch it. The world is a little village, sweety. Nothing can be kept only for one. Even if it's China. If they used a bad Mandarin in that movie you mention here, it's their bad. No excuses.
But your way to argue it's fishy. "Don't look to our shortcomings, look! There are others having some, too!". Old propaganda work, it seems old school methods never die. Bad luck to find me, born and raised in communism, I saw this too many times not to recognize one of your kind when I see them.
Am I wrong or this is "Sunshine of My Life" page and not Iron Man 3?
When I watched ep. 1 it was a lousy AI translation and I didn't go back to it. Yes, you are right now about ep. 1, which it was released more than 1 month ago. They stole it from Ochiroen - but what can I do? Why do you argue with me? But thank you, now I can watch ep. 1 again without getting annoyed about their lack of grammatical correctness and logic.
Dear Dylan, I don't know why you get mad on me. I just said how it is IN THIS CASE. I don't care about Oshiroen or other sites, I just informed you how things are now about this series on kisskh. Maybe they steal funsubs, I don't know, I am not interested in this matter. I only watch and cannot do much else about it. But anyway, before you post, at least check before you assert something.
This site doesn't steal anything. There is not a fansub, in this case it's an awful machine translation. I wish there was a funsub. Please, check first before you post.
That is a very very very.... very bad translation. It's quite annoying, I have to think all the time who's speaking about whom, there is no difference between "she", "he", "me", "you", the tenses are mixed up, you never know if they speak about now, the past or the future. It's tiresome.
Whoever made that decision should be fired. All we wanted was a happy ending 😢
There aren't all fantasies with happy end. At least in this case, a happy ending wouldn't have lasted "ever after", they both knew that. Even if that hurt her like hell, Banxia understood that and accepted it in the end. She never asked him to take her with him. She knew she wouldn't have lived "ever after" in his world.
Whoever made that decision should be fired. All we wanted was a happy ending 😢
As I understood, his half brother had the mission to protect him and to help him to lead their world. A protector and helper, advisor not the leader. Banxia was 18, the door opens every 12 years. Maybe when she's 30, he comes back, we don't know. But 30 years old in those times was old, especially for a woman :) 50 was very old :)
Anyway, when they parted their ways, nobody around them, except his adoptive father, knew the truth about who he is and what happened. It would be really difficult to live in her world being a monster. He would be on risk all the time just like she would be in his world, being hunted, wanted killed, hated by all humans except Banxia.
He did for Banxia all he could: he changed the reality, giving her a normal life, the possibility to be happy. And he did that from love.

He is an actor. A really good one and is paid well (I suppose). He has his job and that is not other than to act what and how it's said to him to act. He cannot choose the ending or his partners or the director (which is his boss that takes ALL decisions, together with producers). Not even the costumes he wears. He can make some suggestions but that is all. He must focus on HIS job and do not mix in other people's jobs. Because we see only the actors on the screen we tend to believe they are the most important people in making movies, but that is far from true. They are only tools in directors' and producers' hands.

But if you are realistic, there couldn't be another kind of ending. They were 2 different species.
She wouldn't have been allowed to live in his world, never accepted by his clan, always in danger and always thinking of her parents, having a guilty conscience for leaving them after so many years apart, not being able to take care of them in their old years.
He had a mission to fulfill, to lead and to maintain life in his world. Never really happy to tear her out of her world, being all the time in alarm mode to protect her and their offsprings. That was a nightmare life, his clan could literally eat her :) I suppose this is why his brother wanted to kill her with that spear when she was a girl, she being an intruder there. And for defending her he was kicked out of his world.
Happiness is meant to last a life, not only 2 months.
It's all thanks to Song Zuer's inability to act. IQIYI has no choice but to rely on tricks, the more people discuss…
Pitiful troll. I am sorry for you. I saw you posting here only this kind of things. Are you a drama critic, a member of academy or a teacher for acting? Get a life and don't forget to take your meds.
So beautiful and bittersweet. This and "Love Like A Galaxy" (stupid name thinking of its greatness) are my favorite. Both main actors made a wonderful work. But all of them were great. They made me smile and cry like a child. Great writing, fascinating creatures and places. Great production.
Look at the tags. Is there something that says "Romance"? This is not a love story. It's about revenge, justice/unjustice,…
Without her "lover" that revenge was impossible. She saved him to help her to avenge her mother's death and infirmity. Actually, she had a lot to avenge. He made that possible. They were associates in this: he had to avenge his own things and she had her own. They had the same enemy. One without the other could not defeat him. Are you sure you watched this series?
I really liked this drama but in the end it disappointed me. There's very little romance. It's above all a story…
Look at the tags. Is there something that says "Romance"? This is not a love story. It's about revenge, justice/unjustice, disfunctional family, psycopath criminal, ambition, relationship parents-children, etc. Nothing about romance. Even if the main characters love eachother there is not a romantic love. If you think a little, that woman had a very harsh and bitter life, nobody there to show love to her, no hugs, no comfort, no kindness or tenderness. Where would she learn from that in this world there is also romance and affection. The only things she knows is friendship and loyalty, from her friend and guardian. Even with that little girl she doesn't know how to express her feelings. You ask the impossible.
The last scene so clever made: Fu Yunxi together with the deads, all in gray and blue and Hanyan with the living on the other side. He's a dead man walking, on borrowed time.

And he needs an heir, I suppose, because he is a kind of royalty in his world.
