So much happened in 10 eps and there are 20 left. It's time to involve the royal court next, I presume.
At the family level there are not so many things to uncover. The monster kids are back home now, I expect some serious bullying again. With that coward and scheming father, she shouldn't have any hopes of help from him. He can see the truth now but he doesn't want to see it.

Why everytime it's a sad moment it has to start raining?

It's great. One of the best I have ever watched.

She's also a bad actress. The scenes where she's crying are cringy.

I have nothing to say about her talent. Maybe there are people more skilled than me in this matter, to give a measurement of her talent.

But about being beautiful, sorry. In my opinion she is way too skinny, look at her arms and legs, they are so thin that I think how she could walk so those legs do not break. She has a cute face but all the rest it's just bones. Her collarbones, shoulders and arms in that black polka dress... For me, it's like the learning material skeleton from the biology lab when I was a student.

I know that these are the standards of beauty in K-entertainment and C-entertainment. But when I see all those girls only skin and bones and wearing very short mini skirts, with their legs like 2 sticks with a parenthesis, I think of their awful existence. To starve all your life only to please some crazy sadistic idiots who set the rules and manage your whole life, from how much and what you eat to if you are allowed or not to have a boyfriend. I bet all these girls are anorexic with serious health issues.
What is beautiful in this?

And then why do I wonder why the suicide rate in K-entertainment is so high?

What a stupid and cruel thing to mock somebody for not having a mother or a father or both. Crazy society, tormenting the kids already traumatized for loosing their parent(s). In a normal community/society, the orphans should be having extra care, attention and affection from the people around them.

Like always, there has to be somebody to use trolling methods. I speak about apples, you speak about oranges just to divert attention from what I say. And here are enough many naives who cannot see these tricks.
I was speaking about violence in schools here, about children and teenagers exposed to violence, bullying, mobbing in schools.

You speak about Tarantino. What has one with another? Will you speak about WWII next? When you read a comment can you understand the content and the meaning in it?

I have already said that I am aware these are overexaggerations of the reality, for the sake of the show, but I wonder if so much violence among teenagers, even for the sake of the show, it's necessary.

Read again my comments and come with something constructive if you want to reply. Don't throw here something only with the purpose to contradict or divert attention. Maybe I have pressed a sore point. It was not my intention. If there is only the stupid nationalism, give up. I don't have the intention to offense.

There is a smart one here that sends me to hell :))) "None of these is like study group", but look just ep. 1, after the first 5 minutes is exactly what I decribe in my comment. Bullying, fightings, violent language, chairs flying above their heads, etc. It's like in the zoo, in the monkeys' cage when get hissy over the bananas.
I have a 16 yo son, I would die to think he would live like that. Here the most important thing is the happiness and child safety in school.

I forgot to mention another thing: they have a cliche with the orphans there. I don't get it: it is not enough they lost their parents? They have to bear nasty comments and the disdain of others because they are orphans? Where is their blame? Instead to protect them and give extra attention and care, they endure harsh words and are considered 2nd hand persons. I saw some movies where they could not be accepted by in-laws (couldn't marry) because they were orphans. What a shitty menthality.

I can tell you some from memory, I have stopped watching this kind of series some time ago. It's just nauseating. It's like there are no laws, no rules, no responsible adults, no police, no justice... Only a jungle where the rich crushes the poor, the parents are obsessed with their children's scores in school, and so on.

I don't understand why necessary so much violence in this kind of series. It's like in South Korea to go to university, high school or even primary school, is a very dangerous thing to do. Psychopaths, corrupted teachers/principals, rich kids allowed to do whatever to the poor kids withour consequences, etc. Gossips and gossiping are everywhere, like these kids have nothing else to do.

Too much drama, I wonder where is the pick of it. I watched a lot of SK series about crimes in high schools, bullying without limits, kids studying until exhaustion, neglected by their parents who are too busy with their careers to even see their own kids in 24 hours.

If you're poor and have the misfortune to cross paths with a rich, violent psychopath who has a father or a mother who can "solve" everything with money, you could lose your life or being crippled for life or ruin all chances for a good future, no matter how bright and skilled you might be. What kind of a society is depicted in these series? I know it's just movies, but anyway... After watching a bunch of this type you're really fed up. Too dark and violent. And it's about kids, that's the problem.

He was an idiot right from the beginning. I could understand him when he was kidnapped to marry and almost beaten to death when he refused, but he's a stupid moron anyway. I wish him to marry to a nightmare woman, to torment him to his death. He doesn't deserve Shou Hua. Maybe he can tell a lot about books and poetry but in real life he is just a stupid pompous as*hole. He just left behind a lot of pain, his own mother wanted to kill herself because of him. I wouldn't want him back for anything in the world.

Have just watched again. The same feeling like watching first time: cozy, warm, cute, handsome and skilled actors, beautiful story.
The only regret is the series goes not so far as the manga. Would have been really nice to watch on the screen the last chapters of the manga: few years later, when Tane goes to school and "Yukata" and Minoru are living together as a loving couple.

She's really annoying and weird.

While I appreciate their effort in their free time, I have to say it's a really shitty work. They should be able to make the difference between "he" and "she" if they consider the work of translation. Even an amateur translator. If you do such a low quality work, maybe it's better to give up and let the real ones to do it properly.
For a viewer with no Japanese, this kind of translation it's just annoying and confusing. After some time you get tired thinking who is talking about whom.

And really bad French. And it's so obvious there is voice doubles for both of them. Sloppy job.

In my world it's not normal to watch your bag or personal items when you are into a restaurant. It should be a safe environment, no stress and thinking all the time where is my bag, has somebody taken it? We put our bags/purses on the back of the chair or on the empty chair - never happened to disappear.

Quite a shitty world to live in if that is the situation, to watch all the time your things instead of enjoying your meal, for which you pay money and the restaurant is responsible for everything that's happening there. To press your stomach like that eating a great meal... I think it's shameful. And sad to see that people think that normal.

Question: in ep.2, when they are in the restaurant. That girl eats with her purse on her lap. What the hell? Is that a thing they do in China, to sit on a chair in the restaurant and having the (big) bag/purse on the lap? It's so uncomfortable. Is she afraid that someone would steal her purse - in a restaurant!? I find it strange.

I think the "Oreo Biscuit" believes they are the moral prosecutors of the world, the old Inquisition in 15th century. The man is guilty and the woman is the victim :) In 2024.

I am a woman, a wife and a mother. If I were the man, I didn't marry that model. She could avoid pregnancy if she wanted. SK is a developed country with access to information and education, not a 3rd world country where girls get married 12 years old without knowing anything about any thing. An educated woman has to think better, she has a lot of options. If she decided to get pregnant, congratulations. But how it looks, it was only one side decision.
