Well…… just curious what the writer was going through. The beginning and the very very end had life. Why was the middle so devoid of it? Rhetorical question. Happy the series is over, very happy that at least they didn’t have to do the standing staring end scenario.
I do not blame the leads for lack of chemistry. The way the story was written, they never had a chance. They weren’t allowed to have any. The second half of the series is just lugubrious, very few bright spots. Much like the way the mom ruined Something in the Rain, the dad really drained the energy in Forecasting for me.
I don't understand the slack-jawed staring thing at all, and its pervasive in many kdramas. Is it meant to be…
Right?!? It feels like it is being used more and more, much to my dismay. It’s like an awful unfinished sentence, or worse yet- a dangling participle that leaves us in limbo. That is a cowards ending writer-nims!!!
It looks like there’s a good chance the end forecast is going to be the two squalls stalling about 10 meters apart staring at each other……. Would a writer-nim please explain what the fascination is with that end scenario?!?!?!? It perplexes, it vexes to no end.
You are correct! It’s very witty, wicked fun and a good challenge. We are all being tripped up by some of the words and phrases( that probably haven’t been heard in three decades).. It’s very erudite- which we aren’t.🤣
Too funny. I’m currently in rehearsals for the play Blithe Spirit. Of course I am the ghost, Elvira. 🤣🤣🤣 (I ended up making the tomato egg stir fry at 10:30 last night when I got home.)
I had marked this series completed, but I put it back because I keep rewatching.🤣
