I thought like that too when I watched the 1st episode. But after some time I gave it a try again and loved it. I guess you just have to be in the right mood to watch it. It's not a cheerful drama; it's about unhappy people who don't share their burden and feel like casted out from society. Or perhaps it's just not your cup of tea. And tha's okay. Nb has to like the same things. ^^
Woahhhhhhhhh!!! This was AWESOME!! I've gotta say I'd watched the 1st episode a long time ago and I didn't like it much. The main characters looked dull, so I thought I wasn't going to like it. But after a long time, I've read comments, saw the score and I thought I should give it a try. I'm so glad I did! At the end of each episode I wanted to know what was going to happen. I had so many expectations! I mean, the main characters ARE (apparently) 'dull', but that's bc of their personalities and of all the situations they hold in. This was one of the most beautiful dramas of this genre I've watched so far. The story develops in a pace that 'makes sense'. It's nth like love at first sight or any other 'fairy tale'. It's about burdened people who struggle everyday to keep going on. Keep that in mind when you watch this drama. Acting was great ('Gwang Il' was so nicely played that I hated him SO much! And IU... I love her acting more and more), OST was perfectly and beautifully chosen... and it left me wishing for a sequel. But it still ended beautifully. (I hope this doesn't count as a spoiler?)
What the...!!!! I'm really in shock!! Miura Haruma was one of the first Japanese actors that made me love seeing him on dramas/movies. Damn handsome, cute, really talented... it's kinda impossible not to 'fall for him'. It makes me really sad and wonder what goes on with all those people so young yet so troubled/hurt to reach that point of no return. That kind of event is becoming more frequent and it makes me wonder if there's anything related to being pressured by the media and their work. It seems it's a cultural thing in Asia for people having to excel in just everything and if not they're looked down on. I may be speaking nonsense, so I'm sorry if that's the case, but all those suicide news just make me wonder about what could have happened to them. I wish those people were given more attention so they wouldn't end up like that.
I looooooooved it! The first episode was such a drag I thought about dropping it, but I'm so glad I kept watching it! One of the soundtracks sounded so meh to me every time it was played (the singer sings as if she's got no emotions), but when it started to be matched to hilarious situations it seemed to fit the scene so well it became funny itself. The drama isn't a masterpiece, but it's hilarious and cute. In the end, I'd find myself dancing and singing along the main OST.lol! Watch it if you're feeling meh/down. It will definitely cheer you up!
I've started this drama and dropped it, then started again multiple times now.Someone convince me to drop for…
I'm also having a hard time trying to watch it. Unfortunately, perhaps you'll have to try reading the other users' comments and decide for yourself whether to watch it or not (like I am doing now lol), because some people loved it and some people found it meh. So far, I'm with the latter team (and haven't made to the end o the 3rd episode yet. Thinking about dropping it for good).
Well, I gave it a consistent 7/10 bc it was cute, light, and shorter than most dramas. The story doesn't make you sigh or go 'woah'. It's the veeeery typical arrogant spoiled chaebol and innocent common girl plot. The 'seconds' are not the annoying type. Still, it was cute bc the interactions were cute. I also enjoyed Yoo Mi's mother and their relationship, and Jin Wook's secretary and his darling. Acting was good, kisses were 'decent' (the FL wasn't paralysed as if she was dead when kissed, like in many dramas we see out there), and the OST was the 'fluffy' type. But the flashbacks... this was the first drama that made me skip some scenes, bc I couldn't stand any more flashbacks! I enjoyed watching it, but I wouldn't watch it again just bc it's not a big deal.
I didn't give the drama up but I did think it was going to be a waste of time. Or that it would be another of those dramas I'd drag to watch. I felt the same way you did. But suddenly I was hooked by it and finished it in very few days, even having college evaluations. I just couldn't go to bed without watching at least 2 or 3 episodes. It was just too lovely!
REALLY! I was like 'wth is what those super silly characters? There's no way people could be like that! That's just stupid. And what about all those clichés?? What an unrealistic plot!' Oh my... the silly FL ended up being sweet and strong, the ML ended up being so funny (him and many others characters) and sweet. I saw myself crying when they were sad, smiling when they were happy, laughing at their craziness. I thought this drama would be a waste of time, but I'm SO GLAD I gave it a chance after so much time being in my watchlist. This was funny, was sad, was sweet... I really liked the ending for all the characters. And the main couple was a nice match! They looked so cute together! I laughed so heard at the Romeo and Juliet thing! XD Oh and I SO FREAKING LOVED the OST. All the songs were so good and fit the drama so well!! And the acting was awesome!! Daniel... I think he was given the surname 'Pitt' for being such a pitiful character. I really wanted to hug him so many times and give him some comfort. I'm glad he got what he wanted the most in the end. (Ah, I wish I had him as a neighbour oppa lol) If you're wondering whether to watch this drama or not, JUST DO IT. You won't regret it. Oh and the lesson we get from this drama? Don't worry about your future and just live your present and cherish it!
Not interested in watching it online (subbed, ofc)?
well, if you feel like, I watched it on Dramanice. I'm not veeery picky about video resolution, but that one seemed good enough to me. Hope you have a good time when watching it, anyway. :)
why are you reading the spoilers already if you hadn't finished it smh
I do start by them. But sometimes they don't give off enough information, then I end up reading spoilers. I strongly dislike feeling like wasting my time when watching sth that's just not my cup of tea. And I don't like leaving things unfinished, so I try to sort out the titles I intend to watch better. I guess it was the same for yozora. There is so much good stuff out there to watch it's almost impossible to catch up with all of them, so we've gotta choose them in any way we think it's valid.

I also read spoilers from the users here when I'm not sure whether to watch sth or not. Sometimes the drama/movie just doesn't feel 'woah, I've gotta watch this' and we look for povs to see how the story is gonna be developed. That helped me many times.
At first I thought this was going to be a regular horror movie, but gladly it was quite unpredictable. Some people focused on a mother's love to her child (which I don't disagree completely). But I think the point of this movie was about 'destiny': it doesn't matter how many chances you'd get to make things different, they would still happen in the same way (you'd still get the same outcome), because that's how it would be meant to be. I found it really intriguing, to say the least, and I recommend it if you want to watch something different from the usual.
