Not annoying at all. They handled the love triangles pretty well. I wouldn't even say it was a real love triangle.
Please use spoiler. Also, I wouldn't say she chose him, she was just messing with him.😅

People who "watch" something at 2x speed or skip scenes they should drop it or just shut up honestly.
You can report reviews but not sure if the mods are doing anything about it.

I'm pretty sure the English CC is usually the dub version, that's why it's not that good.
I translate English to my own language, so unless you're Hungarian, you probably didn't see any of my work.😅

But I do work as a sound engineer and film editor, so you might have seen BTS's Suga latest concert movie. I was basically a QC (quality control).

Yes, I do, but mostly for cinemas and other smaller companies. Sometimes I do work for streaming platforms as well if they don't want to mess with AI.

"too complex" its just the usual kdrama trope using childhood trauma as an excuse to be an asshole and…
When I said "complex" I was talking about some hardcore complex story. Not who you're talking about as an "asshole", but after 5 episodes I don't think anyone on this show is an asshole. Childhood trauma is a serious thing, and not just a simple trope IF it's done right.

less cringe or not?? coz kdrama like dynamite kiss, wow Im just skip skip skip..i cant handle it..always have…
After 5 episodes it's not cringe at all. It's a lot of fun, but don't expect top-tier writing tho. I think it's safe to say, if someone loved "Hotel del Luna" they will might love this one as well. The writing is similar to that.

I wouldn't say this is mature like "Love Scout" but definately more mature than "DK" and they didn't do much with the love triandles yet, so it's not irritating.

hii so we have love triangles? 2? are they annoying or persistent? 😅
I mean, technically there is, but they didn't do much with it yet till EP5 so I can't tell you anything about the rest. Other than, the 2 main lead already in love (but ML is in denial phase) so who knows what's gonna happen. It's not irritating yet.

I have a wild guess why people dislike this drama after 5 episodes. It's too complex and not a typical cute romcom where you don't have to use brain. Let's hope I'm right, and we're not watching another "Love Next Door", "When The Phone Rings", "Lovely Runner" or "Dynamite Kiss.

Yeah, I know a lot of fans will throw rocks at me. I don't mind.😂

4 episodes and GYJ is pissing me off to death with his puppy dog eyes. The same expressions as in RP 🥱
Her expressions is anything but the same. You need to borrow her eyes.🤣

1/10 rating feels too harsh, even for a mediocre show. There are many factors to consider, and it's unlikely they…
I'm usually a harsh critric, but I never gave lower score than 3/10, because the acting and directing usually good enogh. Those whow rate shows 1/10 are just haters. For me to give 1/10 everything has to be a shit show, but I never watched anything like that in 20+ years. My lowest rated movie is 2/10 but that's not a Kdrama just some low-budget crap movie.😅

Okay, it's too late, 2:30 AM here, but after 5 episodes, I still don't get it. What problem did people find, because so far, the writing is good, the acting is great, the OST and cinematography is amazing.

If the rest of the season is just close to the first 5, I won't be disappointed.

The Dorami plot is really interesting btw, I wonder what they're gonna do with that. That could be the biggest mess, not the love triangles.

Sadly, a LOT of people don't know CC is the transcribed version so they don't change it to the original ENG SUB. I really hate dubs anyway, it's bland not just badly translated. Especially the English dub.

To be honest, I kinda get it, because voice actors earn much less these days comapred to like 10 or 20 years ago. Dubbing and subbing is basically the same thing now. If it's a weekly show, we get the episode a couple of days earlier and have to finish it fast as hell, so the quality is not gonna be that good. There was a time when I got the episode 1 DAY before the release. Now, that was a lot of "fun".😅

Yes. One of the English version is the dub. Companies do this all the time. I know because I'm an official translator as well. I worked for Netflix too, but not anymore, because all these streaming platforms started using AI for a lot of shows and movies and want me to fix it for much less even tho "fixing AI sub" is basically translating from scretch.😂

rated it 8.5 because the cinematography was sooo great. I was eating good the entire season 🤩. But the story…
8.0 and you think it's a let down? I would never give 8/10 if something is a let down. 😅

GYJ is a great actress, but acting us not only about actors, sadly, it's about the script and the directors. Actors usually do what they told.

I do disagree in believing that Netflix had nothing to do with how the show will be made apart from just throwing…
The budget for Kdramas got higher in every company, not just Netflix, but obviously the bigger the company the bigger the budget. But budget doesn't equal with quality. If the writing sucks you can have the best looking show or movie ever, it's still sucks. All those big budget blockbuster movies are the prime examples.

This is all about writing, directing and acting. In this exact order, because actors comes last, they're basically puppets.

Kdramas changed way before Netflix entered the game, it's just many fans still live in the old era, this is basically like the nostalgia factor. Netflix's first original Kdrama was "Love Alarm" in 2017, and romcoms were already copy and paste that time.

To be honest, most Kdramas aren't better than the new ones, it's just nostalgia, like said above. Doesn't matter which year or production team we're talking about, everyone released a LOT of good and a LOT of bad dramas.

Yes, Netflix has shows with different schedules, 4-6 episoed per months or so. Just like WLGYT, but that was intentional, and it also helped the crew as well. The 4 episode per week was perfect because 4 episodes were basically 1 story, 1 era, but most Kdramas aren't written like that. Especially romcoms. Those are the most basic stories.

If people actually take time to write a proper review, I don't care about the score if it's not the just a couple of sentence.

After 4 episodes, I still don't have any problem with the drama, but compared to the 1st EP yeah, it's obviously not that hardcore, but that's not surprising, the 1st episodes are usually have to start with a big bang. So to speak.

They can easily mess up the story about the FL's problem, but that could be a really good story as well. The love story is nothing new tbh. Romcoms are usually sold by the actors and how their characters are written. So far, both of them are intersting and fun.
