Okay, that's still Netflix's fault. They release all of their Original shows all at once. They do this for a decade or more.

Do you blame Korean TV channels too when they released bad romcoms? I mean, Netflix didn't even release 1% of the romcoms in 5 year that Korea release in a year, but I don't see anyone blaming SBS, MBC, TVN etc.

Just because Netflix released every episode, you can still chose how you want to watch it. That's why Netflix is better, because you don't have to wait, and you can chose whatever you want to do, unlike with weekly shows because you have to wait for many weeks if you want to binge-watch it or you're "forced" to watch it weekly.

Lastly, I think for romcoms, binge-watch it actually helps, because the stories are not that deep or well-written most of the time. Weekly system actually ruines the flow of the story. At least 90% of the romcoms relies HEAVILY on the chemistry of the 2 main lead and some random cute and sexy scenes.

I work in this industry for over 20 years. Netflix or any other streaming platform don't care about the script. They only give the money and let the Korean producers to decide what they want to do. Netflix knows Kdrama fans will watch it anyway. They have so many shows and movies, they can't dictate what should happen in a story. That's the producers job, and yes they're paid by Netflix, but it's not different from any other Kdrama or Western shows.

People blaming Netflix is just easy, but they never say: "SBS or TVN should stop making KDramas."

Every Netflix Original show is released all at once, they do this for more than a decade now. They probably delayed this drama, because it was shot in multiple countries, and that's a lot of work even after they finished it.

For example: "When Life Gives You Tangerines" director said, they were still working on the show in the last week. That's why Netflix released 4 episodes every week.

I agree about the ratings, I have the same opinion, but this time it irritates me, because no one could finish it doesn't matter how hard they try. It's 12+ hour long and Netflix released it like 10 hours ago.

I love both of them. Amazing actors, one of the best of their generations. To be honest I don't care about the rating that much, but this drama was released 10 hours ago. If someone hate it, at least write a proper review.

Same. Most Kdramas are not suited for the weekly system imo, and what's best about Netflix is that you can actually choose, and you don't have to wait.

It's a romcom, so I don't expect much. If the script is consistent and the cliches are not irritating and they won't do nonsense like they did in "Dynamite Kiss" for example, I don't think I will have a problem. The two main lead can carry the most basic story anyway.

Yes, and to be honest, IF someone dropped it and rate it like below 5/10 I get that, it's not like I don't rate dropped shows, that's totally okay, but so many people acting as if they watched the whole show, and so many new accounts. I don't know what the heck is going on on MDL lately.

I only watched the 1st episode and it was really good, but the rating dropping from 8.4 to 7.7 is crazy. MDL really should do something about this, because this is batshit crazy. Most of you didn't even have time to finish this. Why the hell are you rating something you didn't finish yet? Netflix released this drama like 10 hours ago.

Also, dear clueless Kdrama fans: Stop blaming Netflix if you don't like something. Netflix doesn't write scripts. They only give the money. EVERY Kdrama is made by KOREANS, and KOREANS ALONE! Blame Korean writers and producers if you don't like something. And stop acting as if most romcoms are not the same.

Kdramas didn't get worse, you just watched too many romcoms and nothing can surprise you anymore because 99% of romcoms are the same.

One more thing: Isn't it weird that you're criticizing the script, but when somene points out the plot holes and unrealistic or lazy writing of your fave romcoms, your argument is usually: "It's just a romcom, it's not that deep. The chemistry is soo god." 😂

No offense, but social media never had anything to do with popularity. Half of the followers (on EVERY PLATFORM) are bots or fake accounts. Most people who follow someone don't actually follow them. I follow a LOT of people on Insta, but I barely use the app, let alone read what 100s of my followed people post.

I don't care about Jisoo, I didn't watch anything she was in, and I'm not planning to, but let's be real, she's only popular because of Blackpink. Most Idols are only in Kdramas because they are part of a popular Kpop group. She has a LONG way to go to prove she actually deserves to be an actress. I'm not a "K-actor fan" I love both Kdrama and Kpop, so I know exactly how toxic both fandoms can be. Especially Blackpink fans. 😂

Them being associated with Jisoo only makes Blackpink fans learn about them, not the whole world. "Snowdrop" only goes viral because Blackpink fans can't shut up about it. This is the problem with BLINKS, they think they're the whole world, everyone knows Blackpink, and they make everyone famous.

Let's just say how it is. I follow a LOT of Kdrama pages, and after "Snowdrop" was over, I didn't see a single person talking about the show, except BLINKS.

I'm referring to people in the comment section who call the ML "drama queen" for no reason. I don't want to say anything because you haven't watched the show yet, but it's a slow-burn story about complex real-life characters with serious mental health and trust issues. Some people here are acting as if he has to act like a Disney prince all the time.

The writer didn't drag the story too long, and the most important things were spelled out loud and clear, but people still don't get it.

If slow-burn dramas can prove anything, it's that so many Kdrama fans can't comprehend well-written and complex characters.

We have a mature story about real-life issues, without typical cute or childish romance. Main characters with meaningful connections and struggles that could make anyone go crazy, but they're still going on and living their lives, and all they want is someone who they can trust. When someone breaks their trust, they get angry, and some people call them "drama queens".

Let me give you all some advice: Drop this drama, it wasn't made for you. Go and watch some light romcom where you don't need to think about anything.

No offense, but many people said they don't like this show after the trailer or because of the poster. All of her fans acting like crazy children and attacking everyone who has a different opinion. Look in the mirror and grow up.
