Yes it is. Some corrections to the wiki though: In previous life her name was Gan Rushuang (extra 'u', rushuang means "like frost"). Her daughter's name was Gan Jiuzhen, Jiao San (which means Jiao-3) was her call sign when doing missions with The Reincarnation Hall (btw Jiao in Chinese mystic means "dragon like snake", it has the potential of becoming a dragon "long" but still at its infancy form). The Reincarnation Hall didn't appear until volume 2; they put on mask when doing missions, and their call sign was written on their mask. When Han Li first joined their missions, his call sign was "Jiao Shiwu" (Jiao-15) and he was under the command of Jiao-3. Later he was promoted and given a new mask, and his call sign was changed.

Their character modelling was criticized in the first season or two in that the women appearances all looked about the same, but they have improved tremendously since then. Now not only the girls are very pretty. the graphics and animations look top notch as well.

Yes you're right on this account. The storyline is quite flat and like you said it's just about HL's cultivation. What's really amazing in the novel is the author's imagination and his ability to make the battles extremely exciting and tense. When I first read through the novel, there were many moments that made me unable to put it down and wanted to carry on reading, even when it was way pass bed time lol.

The first 3 books started slow, because it was the author's first novel, and he wasn't sure what to write lol. The donghua had gotten not so favorable reviews in it's first season too, partly due to poor modelling of the characters and partly the not so rich plot. The pace will pick up after this.

Season 1 drama ends at chapter 363 (book 3), out of a total of 2446 chapters (11 books) in volume 1 (spiritual realm). Lots of stories were condensed to fit into one season while a few were expanded (e.g. Ms Mo's story), but in general they did a very good job adhering to the main story and all the main stuffs are included.

The drama ending didn't show but he did teleported with Qu Hun. The later even helped him destroy the array at the receiving end.
