This is next level compared to the version I’m watching on YT
Yeah, It started average but you could see the improvements they made over the years. The fighting scenes in the Scattered Stars Sea are already superb, and the recent episodes are really stunning.
Here is the quality of the donghua, for those who said it's shitty😂 You can see all the complex emotions on Mu's face, surprise, disbelief, sad, perhaps a bit of hopefulness. What other donghua could do this. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/mRiwq_Qz5kI
why donghua is one episode per week. why cant once every 3 days or less ? I know the team is still working on…
Production cost is of course one of the reasons, but it's also because of the sear amount of works needed to complete one episode, considering it's 3D animation and the amount of details (fast pace actions, very rich environment, facial expressions of the characters, etc) they put into each episode. There are only so much they could do within a week.
A few reasons:1. Seven Sects had lost the war against the Demon Alliance, and the later had occupied the Yue Kingdom…
It's done probably just to remind audience of their previous encounters and is of nothing significant. The flashback is neither present in the donghua nor the novel.
He needs to obtain and master the "Qian Blue Ice Flames" (Celestial Ice Flames on some fan sites) first,…
No problem. Oh and the flames. He only gotten very limited amount when retrieving the cauldron. He had another adventure much later to get more. He also needed to "convert/tame" the flames before he could fully control them.
He needs to obtain and master the "Qian Blue Ice Flames" (Celestial Ice Flames on some fan sites) first,…
Yin Yue (Silvermoon) later told him only 2 pills left inside and nothing else, but he was ok since it was the cauldron that's more useful, and so he wasn't eager to open it. Later in the novel he used it mainly for battles.
surprisingly for me as not my usual type of drama, i loved this one! the ML is so different from the usual ML,…
Link to donghua season 1 on YT: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrYKPj7wbjfi1JXG-2aBoEUkbLInZH69t You can find the playlists for the rest of the seasons there (Ani-Mi Asia) and it's currently at season 4. They are licensed episodes with subs, only caveat is 2 days delay from release (every Mon instead of Sat, probably due to licensing terms and also time to translate and add subs).
I dont understand the end.Why does he need to leave for the New Continent? If he can, why not others too - everyone…
A few reasons: 1. Seven Sects had lost the war against the Demon Alliance, and the later had occupied the Yue Kingdom and its neighboring countries. 2. The Demon Alliance would be hunting them down and it was no longer a safe place for him to cultivate, especially when he was only a lowly Foundation Establishment level. 3. His sect sold him out and used him as one of the sacrificial pieces, and his master Li died in the process (donghua/drama only, in the novel he died in the battle against Mulan Tribes invasion). So he felt betrayed and no longer wanted to stay in the sect and retreat with them. 4. The teleportation array was an ancient one which nobody knew about, and HL didn't let the cat out of the bag. Also the token he found could only teleport one living person (Qu Hun was only a soulless puppet so could tag along). The destination was unknown and so HL was actually taking a huge risk. 5, As his 2 former masters told him, the world outside is vast, and he should go out and explore and see them.
In the novel, when will HL open the heavenly ding ?
He needs to obtain and master the "Qian Blue Ice Flames" (Celestial Ice Flames on some fan sites) first, after that he will be able to read the "instruction manual" imprinted on the cauldron (chapter 872). He will gain slight control the cauldron after mastering the first level of the techniques. The first time he uses it in battle is chapter 899. To open it he will need level 2 (chapter 1164-1165).
Oops you edited the question, now my reply above doesn't match anymore...😶Ok just joking😂The story is not…
No worries. Season has indeed ended, but the story was adopted from a very very very long novel, and this season contains only the 1st 4 arcs. It still has a very very very long way to go. But the novel has a happy ending... just not sure if we're gonna see it though lol
Oops you edited the question, now my reply above doesn't match anymore...😶 Ok just joking😂 The story is not finished yet, so theoretically it's not really an ending, and there're most probably more seasons to come... But for this season, it's a mix bag in terms of happy/sad ending (there were happy and sad moments). Let me know if you'd really like to know more...
They need S++++ to make the Chaotic sea scenes, the sets in the DONGHUA are so big + It depends a lot on VFX In…
It would be hard to match the donghua's vfx, because almost all the donghua's funding goes into making vfx, while the funding for the life action drama needs to pay for a lot of other stuffs (e.g. acting fees, supporting crews, foods & accommodations, sets, etc) and only a portion goes into vfx. And yeah I find the Yellow Maple Valley scenes underwhelming too, even though the sceneries are real beautiful. I saw some comments saying the way they did everything in the open made them look more like cavemen than cultivators lol. But I guess the reasons being: (1) they were not permitted to build anything at the scenic sites, and (2) they don't have the budget to post process and add vfx buildings later.
How many years will it take to get to the wedding episode? 😁
Yes understand lol. In the chapter HL went back to save Yuan Yao, the author named the chapter "Without Regrets". My guess is the author chose to save her due to her royal personality. But my regret is Yin Yue (Silvermoon) wasn't in HL's circle in the final chapter. I like Yin Yue very much too because she sacrificed a lot and fought almost to death for HL in the human realm. I guess it's because she is not human, and the author had left out all non human characters at the ending.
