One question was posed, then the scene cut - Junho asked his brother who told him that Junho bought stock - we didn't hear the answer - but I think they revisit that scene in order to expose what happened. When asked where he got the 100 million won, he said he borrowed it from the bank - which there should have been a record for, instead of using the bribe cash. Plus I wonder if there was a record of that visit at the bank in terms of any transactions with the corrupt CEO. Clearly the brother was targeted.
killing people i can look the other way but killing dog ins pure insanity i hate him
I don't like either. I don't know how we are supposed to root for a psychopath. We are lulled into it by justifying certain people deserve it, but as it goes along the line of what is permissable to kill gets messier. Plus killing dogs crosses the line for me
I truly appreciated seeing the young love we all adore as well as an appreciation of a love that endures steadfast through the ages. In good times and bad,, for richer and poorer, in sickness and health. My faces still puffy from crying and deep feels. My favorite drama ever
This is easily the drama of the year. IU and So Ri are both incredible as Ae Sun, I can’t even decide who I…
The middle age dad is good too as it shows how steadfast his love is for his daughter even it it is one sided, as it has been for many of us, who don't realize it until too late. He is an integral part of the multigenerational story of what each generation imparted on the next, in hopes that their children have a better life. I love this precisely because the shining love is not just for young people, and the excitement of young romance, but endures. The matrue actors and actresses are amazing.
Don’t remind me of this😭 I hate those type of first love never works out story….Why torture us with all…
what upset me about 2521 is that it didn't ring true. she breaks up because she wants a spouse who isn't absent. Yet through the whole drama her spouse is absent, even for their child's birthday, and even though they looked back in nostalgia, the breakup was messier. In this drama, the breakup is super heartbreaking, but she avoided a fate where her soul would be crushed by his horrible family, and they would have resented each other. He did not want to break from his mother, whereas her parents taught her to appreciate her worth and the husband should be by the side of his wife. The breakup should heartbreakingly why it had to happen and didn't hit me as false or an awkward plot point.
the way the ending of a first love relationship was so heartbreaking, yet the reasons they did and how they still had kind feelings for each other. I was sobbing.
I may be in the minority but I liked the ending. I liked how the plot twist had clues buried throughout in sort of a Sixth Sense movie way, so I don't feel cheated. I enjoyed this series. The first episodes I thought the flashbacks were redundant, and in the latter episodes more purposeful for moving the plot forward. My heart is happy, and after a rough week, I am thankful.
Overall, I think this could be a really good drama. The first two episodes set up this high-stakes, tense world…
The scene with the daughter reminds me of arranged marraiges seen with the wealthy and powerful. The scene does seem random, but perhaps will be relevant to a future plot point.
Also such a competition on who I dislike the most. Soooo many contenders!
