Season 2 was obviously a bridge to season 3 as they lay the groundwork for the struggles past and present of immigrants struggling in a country to survive, acceptance and identity. However Apple is really cutting costs on Renewals which are based on performance and Pachinko fails to crack higher than 5th in standings of lineup. I have an uneasy feeling that season 3 won't happen as they have not committed yet. They should have filmed S 3 when doing S2 to save costs or add episodes to S2 so we aren’t hanging

The part at the end is the ML could have been so bitter and vengeful. I sensed his frustration in one scene where he yells "why to people die before the tell me what I want to know" At the end they did a good job with the concept of coming to peace with the loss of not only his youth, his father, but all the friendships destroyed by greed and jelousy. His dropping of flowers in the river also helped calm my blood pressure. I also like the the "outcast" FL got justice and closure as well. I was pleased that the scene at University showed that they were rebuilding their lives and moving on.

I loved this movie - the plot was compelling. Finished the episodes that finally dropped on Hulu.

I really loved season 2. I felt Season 1 was a great setup, and season 2 got right to the point on what was at stake, who were the players on each side and backstabbers, and a poignant love story that perfectly captured the longing and yearning of our leads. I saw the post credit clip - personally I would be fine ending after this season, but we shall see..

Why is this rated so high? The plot is a mess and it is one challenge after another for the couples often with the flimsiest setup. The maturity level is much lower than the ages of characters. I want to like this but getting frustrated

Really good. Si much better than season 1. Fast paced, compelling storytelling.

I think the character of Noa will show the tragedy the internal conflict of trying to fit in yet unable to escape his heritage.

The jumps between the 2 generations show that no matter how accomplished or their circumsances they continue to struggle to fit in but will never really have a seat at the table for power or full acceptance. They couldn't go back because of the war in Korea, I suppose after so much time maybe there was nothing to come back to. I see the echos of the struggles of the past repeating even in the 3rd generation. There seems to be a hint of Yakuza threats in the background as well.

This cast, the script, the cinematography, the beautiful scoring... This is a drama that has me totally enthralled. THE best romance drama on air right now.

A pleasant surprize - a fun watch, got better with each episode. wonderful finale, and appreciate minimal stress on angst. got sweeter and funnier with each episode.

Drama not showing up on Disney+ in the US. I can’t find any news of US broadcast schedule

UPDATE ON USA HULU - I called customer service - due to the popularity of this series there are some licencing issues that are out of Hulu's control that result in delays. PER the conversation I have, for the US HULU customers, we will get episodes 9 and 10 on OCTOBER 8th. I told them I would let you folks know as many of us are in the same boat. I let them know that I have been used to having a drama complete viewing in Korea first and then seeing it in the US, but I have never had a series hung up in the middle of a viewing schedule.
