Please give me a reason to like the character of the FL. I especially dislike that anything perceived as wrong or bad luck she refuses to accept either responsibility or roll with the punches. She evaluates her interactions with ML as a zero sum game. Yes I am sure they will make her more like-able with a back story but gets concerning when dramas present FLs as so unpleasant in early episodes. I am hopeful it gets better

This drama reminds me in some ways why Study Group was so charming with the comic feel without being corny and the playful graphics. The group has charming characters that have a sincere and close knit rapport. Also this may be one of the funniest enemy to lover arc I have seen in a while. The MDL rating system is bananas.

FL character is so predictable and easily manipulated. She lost the key attributes to her character midway through the drama and is niw the weak damsel in distress. So frustrating

Mercy For None, Trigger, Beyond the Bar, Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, To name a few. But it is nice to see dramas with mature leads🙂

The coerce is when is evil cousin, to secure his advantage in the company, called her and told her to charge way higher than the going rate. The ML then was challenged to secure better terms, or else. So she would only lower the rate to a standard amount charged only if he agreed to go along with her scheme. Yes, that is coersion and part of the plot. She doesn't know that they are related until she sees the ML talk to the cousin from the car just outside the new home they moved into.

The FL character in annoying to me with her lack of situational awareness and bad decisions. How she first coerced the ML to go along with her scheme was uncomfortable as well. I have only finished the first 2 episodes so I hope it settles in for me soon. This is only my reaction, and I hope to enjoy it as much as others here

As soon as they had JH run away, and YR didn’t even seem to care about the fate of her friend until she shows up years later. From that point on it was less enjoyable for me

What was with that last episode? What a monumentally commitment phobic mess

I just hope that if JH gets in a relationship, it is presented in a way where it doesn't feel like she "settled". I am hoping for joy and passion, as she has from the start been a good friend, endured so much. She did have a dream of being Miss Korea, and I hope that it is her turn to win, if we are going to be consistent on who gets to fulfill a dream that they had first. It will be interesting how this is resolved, and kind of wish they didn't add the prospect of harm and danger to add to the tension.

Oh my goodness, I find that sad. He was beaten by his father, and now that is father is ill, is the breadwinner for the family, and if a doctor, factor in the unbelieveable hours put in to study and to be a resident. No matter how it plays out, it will be interesting to see if and who gets their heart broken by the circumstances of the plot.

Warning! If you want to know whether to watch or not, I say go for it. However, having said that, read no further because the comments are loaded with spoilers. I myself really liked it. A political thriller with some romance

If ever a drama portrayed life as one big totem pole, this is it. Plus perfecting the art of humiliation. This is a well done production, a lot of characters and situations introduced, and I now have a profound yearning for justice. Quite something to see Choi Gwi Hwa in back to back portrayals as a villain. He has such an evil laugh!

A solid start setting up the premise and an overview of problems and conflicts that lie ahead. Well done and I can't wait until next week.

This ending made me sad. Both FL sacrificed so much for each other. They was frustrated that YR could not articulate what happed and the a sudden time jump. What was said? What was JPs reaction? I also was saddened the the more passionate of the pairings parted. The other pairing being one sided or forced by circumstances. Very sad. Also I felt the cliff hanger changing to a different outcome was doing viewers dirty by dishonesty. This being the second drama this week to pull that stunt. Yeah, I have trust issues when blatant continuity manipulation happens

I loved this finale. It have everything - and thankful for such an enjoyable series. Also what a year for rising young ML stars! Mission accomplished - I was entertained by a series that was so fun to watch.

I see it a different way - the ML does not know the FL has a crush on him. He DOES know that his best friend has a crush on her and cannot work up the nerve to approach her. The FL lead, on the other hand, shows no interest in the best friend. so isn't she a mirror reflection of what he is going through? I think it is too early at this point to demonize any character, but to feel empathy and hoping the misunderstandings get cleared up. I see no malice so far.

how many dramas do we see where a student asks another student to hand their crush a note. This isn't considered being disloyal or anything - seems really common practice in these dramas. Heck, that even happened in my school at that age.
