1. Ling Miao Miao never really falls for either Fu Zhao or Ziqi. While she was sucked into a "romance fantasy"…
I feel like it's like falling in love in your dream. It's real but it's not at the same time. And I'm also fine with the no kiss. I enjoy Asian dramas because most of them are PG.
P. S. I want to thank the production for keeping the adoptive brother and sister relationship clean🙏🙏🙏🙏 Is this the first time I'm seeing untainted found/adoptive brother and sister relationship in a cdrama 😭😅
Ziqi is Fu Zhou and Fu Zhou is Ziqi. Fu Zhou transmigrates into the book during his surgery. He just doesn’t…
🤷♀️ Fundamentally, I don't think she falls in love. And I don't think he did either. What they experienced could make falling in love easier but "the game versions" of themselves is still fiction a nd I guess therapy a little bit. If they were in love, they would have desperately rushed to find each other but they didn't. He had a book signing and she seemed to get out of her "mild to moderate depression"(she started putting more effort to her dressing and smiled more easily). Ziqi doesn't experience the game as Fu Zhao but as everyone. Every single character she changed their ending was him, he felt and lived through it. He was Fu Zhuo only at the end. She loved and saved his world(him) but being in love with a world does not translate easily to a human mind, hence they have to restart the relationship in the real world from scratch-ish.

He wrote a fanfic version of himself, so it has parts of him and at the end he got his consciousness when he faced his childhood selves but Fu Zhuo is as much Ziqi as I am DefyingDestiny. They bear impressions of who we are but could never be us.
used his spiritual energy to pull her into it?? that’s never implied. the mechanic of how Miaomiao got pulled…
I wasn't implying he was doing it consciously: his "soul" pulls her in and set the parameters, after all its his world. P.S. This is tongue in cheek. I'm not taking this seriously!!

Fu Zho is every character in the book. He wrote them all. For the entirety of the drama, till the end, he wasn't "in" the book. Fu Zhuo, an avatar of himself, was. At the final scene he talked with his childhood selves and said he was "sort of" them but not really. Fu Zhuo was an embodiment of Ziqi's struggles, a metaphor of his life but Ziqi is more, a real person.
1. Ling Miao Miao never really falls for either Fu Zhao or Ziqi. While she was sucked into a "romance fantasy" she didn't become delulu. Her love for Fu Zhao was strictly fan love. She was devoted to his work and she almost got depressed when she read the original work because it was a bad ending or bad book in general but she was trying to understand the why of it. At the end of the drama, she figured it out and she knew enough about her favourite author and his writing style and easter eggs to know where and how to fix it. She was an "obssessed" fan but in a good way. Her obssession and love made her insistent on protecting his work as she transmigrated through the story. She didn't let him write the negative story he wanted and saved all his main characters. All the main characters were pieces of Fu Zhao and making them happy was saving him. Ziqi was a fictional character and she loved him like she loved all the mains but never truly romantically. She stayed within the boundaries of the story and she never felt conflicted of their romance, which would have been a marker of the "honesty" of her return feelings. Her only true conflict was when the mains died, which was where her emotions lied and never in her "feelings" for Fu Zhuo. 2. Fu Zhuo trapped her in his world: The author wrote a fanfic of his crush and pulled her into the world and then forces her by dangling her freedom as bait to make her, make him fall in love with her. The author at the time was a child and his inspiration of "her" was also from when she was a child. Getting kisses by "bondage" would have changed the tone of the story. Note also: his original work was already there. He made her marry him and engaged in domestic violence till she dies unable to ask for help. Miao Miao cleansed the story of all that, she wanted a happy cutesy romance book with no love triangles or vicious love rivals or bondage "romance". 3. Marriage: Fu Yi and Mu Yao only kissed after they got married and since the leads didn't get married no kiss. Why didn't they let them get married? Because unlike the 2CP the were real people, who hadn't actually met or talked to each other. Book marriage is a bit much right😬
In summary: Engaging in "sexual" behaviour would have been a violation from either of the main characters POV for either the author they idolised or the child they had a crush on.
third time's the charm, shuxin and yuxi pls star in another drama together!!!!!
First time: author-editor 2nd time: author-"editor"(fan who transmigrated) 3rd time: author-"editor"(actress who wants to rewrite the drama to fit her????) 😊
He was never really Fu Zhou. He got Fu Zhou's consciousness at the end but he was somewhat of a separate entity.…
Yes I think so. His versions of her are one dimensional and based on his emotions at the time: Mu Qingshu and Lin Yu. While Ling Miao Miao was real. I was also thinking about how she was able to leave her father and I think it's because the "father" was also flat. He looked and sounded like him but that was the end of the resemblance.
I think the character based on Miaomiao wasn’t lin yu. It was Mu Qingshu (forgot the name lol), which is why…
He wrote two characters based on Miao Miao: Mu Qingshu- his idealised super hero version of her, written when he had hope in humanity; and then Lin Yu- his cynical version of her, written after she left school and her father dies and he lost hope in the world. In this version he pulls her down to be as terrible and selfish as everyone else in the world (in his mind). Ling Miao Miao enters his story and is different from the characters he wrote because she's her real self and not a figment of his imagination.
And I'm also fine with the no kiss. I enjoy Asian dramas because most of them are PG.
Me: *paints eyebrow* giggles for 30 minutes
