Metaphorically speaking his "inner demon" would be the brain surgery. Doing the surgery could end his life but it could also free him and allow him to live fully and normally. Everytime he took off the ribbon was equivalent to taking a risk with his health leaving his comfort zone to attempt to live "normally" and gain something he wanted: running after her the day she left school; and doing the surgery! Doing the surgery is the final self acceptance. He can choose to hide his entire life or he can take the leap of fate!
If you keep the POV of the original work Miao Miao and Ziqi are side characters and so who really wants to watch the skinship of the side characters 🤷♀️. However, they did give the final save to the side characters so....
When you think about it: he writes a fanfic of his self and her; and forces her into it, traps her and then blackmails her with her freedom to force her to make him fall in love with her.😁🤭 Shamelessness!
I wonder if I just miss something in the plot, but wasn't it that Miao Miao have no permission to change anything…
I think it was that she couldn't avoid specific actions that were cannon for her. She could try to carry out the actions in ways to give different outcomes (change the plot) but she couldn't refuse to do them.
i am still confused on a part. so was he fu zhou the entire time he was in the novel with miaomiao? so he knew…
He was never really Fu Zhou. He got Fu Zhou's consciousness at the end but he was somewhat of a separate entity. He just embodied the author's struggles. As Ziqi, he would be able to face Fu Zhou's demons and save the day(give Fu Zhou the courage and experiences to confess to Miao Miao)
So the gist of it is: he wrote a fanfic of his middle school crush and used his "spiritual energy" of life and death before a major surgery to pull her into it. Understandable! However, he was quite a bully to her in the early episodes and he killed her in the original work. I don't know about this!! So it's like: he is majorly antisocial, so he wrote her as a twisted green tea, who would marry him to be close to someone else and he would go mad and kills her...and then everyone betrays each other but it doesn't matter anyway because the world gets destroyed! But then she rewrote it and added empathy and forgiveness and self love! So he revises his book (in real life) and waits for her to show up, to finally "woo" her; haven purged his cowardice and self hate on the surgery table!?! But does she grow? Did the experience impact her? I don't think so! Considering she metaphysically edited his work, this is definitely somewhat of a "Moonlight" fanfic! I had a great time with this. Final rating 8.5 but I'm rating episode 32 a 10 😊
Cui and Zheng; no remorse…. neither deserves a redemption ark and I hope they both hang at the end of this along…
👍 yep As villain couples go, I'm very satisfied. They have great chemistry and are awful people. I hope they get appropriately satisfying deaths...possibly at each others hands or after betraying each other
