Watched up to ep.5 and so far we have two strong female characters. The FL may be a tad naive, but she can take her own revenge which is unusual. The story is interesting with sufficient mystery to keep me going and the acting is pretty decent. Zhu Zan Jin does not disappoint! Li HongYi fan-girls may be disappointed because he hasn't that much screentime and when he does he doesn't do much...😄 Also no TBOY-style glitzy martial arts special effects. From what I've seen so far the fight choreography is rather lousy. Despite the name, this doesn't look like a classic wuxia drama.
Yikes so the FL seems to fall for every guy she meets and ends up getting killed or hurt by them. She is nice…
I don't know where you saw this. The completely ignored Tang Huan's marriage proposal and quite firmly rebutted the Regent's advances. So far we only know that she helped Tang Yang but we don't even know if the motivation was love (on her side) or something else.
I loved the scene with Ye Xi and Cang Qi where he went totally unhinged and confessed his love and expected her…
Yeah, that was brilliant! Finally an FL who reasons like a normal woman! She was also quite reserved when Tang Huan laid out his plans for their future marriage...
It's a bit too cold for this now. -2° C over here... and I really really REALLY hate the cold! 🥶🥶🥶🥶
Hahaha, took me a while to work out what IG means... Real-life horses are different : they bite and walk on your foot (the day when you're wearing non-protective shoes). 🦄 They are also warm and cuddly and smell fantastic. At least to a horse person...the people in the supermarket seem to think that I stink 😝

So far only the one horse... he is stabled in a livery nearby. It's my hobby, not my job. I'm planning to retire soon (somewhere warm) and then there will hopefully be the little house in the countryside with all the animals. Horses, cats and probably some geese as guardians.
Nah.....LXY suffers the most in BoY, he has so little screen time....despite the most interesting character and…
Yeah, Wuxin was the best! It's sad we saw so little of him in the later episodes. I've never seen any of the leads before... to curious to see how they turn out.

No frozen lakes over here. Last week there was some snow which brought all the local kids to the slopes above the village... I'm not keen on winter sports, it's bad enough I have to work with the horse every day in these temperatures. Yesterday, it was sunny so I wanted to lunge the horse in the outside arena, but the sand had frozen solid, with all the hoofmarks of the previous days like rock-hard craters. After one round of walking the horse gave me the "you-must-be-joking-I'm-not-trotting-on-this" look, so we had to go inside.
Usually people complain about dramas being draggy.... 🙄For once this one is quite fast paced and now everyone…
Yeah, I wasn't bothered about the chicken, either... but acquiring a sword could be considered important (especially in wuxia/xianxia genre). We didn't see her carrying it when they rushed to leave town and unlike the chicken, I don't think she could have bought it in any odd village on the way. But I agree with you, it doesn't affect the plotline (just my love for consistency...).
Wow, why do I feel they covered 3/4 of the summary in just half of the episode 1? :D If they could tell the rest…
Usually people complain about dramas being draggy.... 🙄 For once this one is quite fast paced and now everyone is complaining that they can't follow C'mon, guys.. just a tiny little effort! Yes, there seem to have been a lot of scenes cut out to reduce the number of episodes (hence the props falling from the sky...), but it's not so bad that it would make the story hard to follow.
More thoughts after watching the first 4 episodes: I like the FL. Despite being a fairy she neither has a squeaky voice nor does she behave childishly. On the contrary, she tells the guys off for being obsessive or irrational. Props seem to just fall from the sky... where did that map at the end of ep. 2 come from? Where did the FL get the sword??? Zhu Zan Jin does not disappoint. As obsessive and unhinged as expected and he does it so well!! This drama needs a 'reverse harem' tag. 😂 In conclusion, unless you expect TBOY and Xiao Se II from this, it's ok to watch.
First impressions after watching one episode: That intro music is incredible tacky and I can't stand it! Story so far is ok - no problem following it despite having to rely on subtitles. I cannot say that I found the editing particularly choppy, they just tried to fit a lot of information into this first episode. That guy with the umbrella gave me a serious TBOY flashback ☂️☂️☂️
omg its my first time going on laptop....why did they just flip the page hahaha....what is the point
Sales Manager: We need to freshen up the look of our website Finance Manager: We currently don't have any budget, so it would have to be something low budget. IT Manager: I've got an idea...

Immortality next, yes??
