Yeah, a lot of people said so, but I guess this one just wasn't for me. I never understood what it was about and that bit with the guy under the lake was so nonsensical (and boring) that I gave up.
Is this good drama? I didn't watch this! Apparently, this is ranked 5th in costume dramas this year. Watched the…
It is on par with the other ones on your list. I couldn't get through Sword Snow Stride, but watched all the other ones on your list. The acting is quite good and there are some interesting side characters. The narrative breakes with the traditional view of marriage being a woman's greatest happiness. The ending was a bit rushed/unsatisfying in a similar fashion as Love Like the Galaxy.
Forbidden love again is it. Why change the name yet again. Oh, well at least is airing soon.
Given the context, I think "forbidden" fits better. The meaning of "unchained" is quite different and would imply that it is a wild love affair. They may be breaking boundaries, but its not the same.
Jinna Fu totally doesn’t and never would pass for a guy……….. 😒
It seems to be one of those annoying conventions of c-dramas: if a woman dresses up as a man, NOBODY can tell and even her friends don't recognise her. And the same goes for people wearing (half-)masks while keeping the same hairstyle and clothes. It's really an insult to people's intelligence.
Why Bei Feng is still roaming around freely?!? She's done lots of bad things and always got away with it? Why?!?!
Maybe we should start a petition... I really hope she won't haunt us until the last episode. Right now her existence is pretty much pointless because her beloved "junior brother" is gone and I somehow doubt that Luo Ge would be as patient with her antics as LuLi was.
Well, I wouldn't call it a bromance. He Na supports the lead coupe and the actor has great chemistry with both…
I quite like He Na... A Fu does absolutely nothing for me. As romance goes, I'm not picky, if it's BL or BG, I really don't care as long as the acting is good.
i am so sad chinese drama must be making romance bg line to pass the bromance. anyone watching song of the moon?…
Well, I wouldn't call it a bromance. He Na supports the lead coupe and the actor has great chemistry with both leads. I'm on ep.14 by now and haven't seen anything really bromancy...
I'm on ep. 14 by now and it's getting quite good. I've liked the FL from the 1st episode but wasn't too sure about the ML... He seems to keep the same unnatural face straight through the first few episodes and that wig is really unflattering. By now he's had a few opportunities to act and move that face. The plot is also quite interesting an things are only revealed bit by bit.
I have not found it translated into English. But you can read with Chinese language at https://www.hetushu.com/book/4545/index.html.…
Made it through to chapter 2 and you're right! It is quite intriguing... Maybe after the drama airs I'll attempt some editing. Hopefully then I'll find out what a "palm print eunuch" is supposed to be in English. Honestly, I don't even know how to google something like this!
I think He Na and Liu Shao have the better chemistry. It seems a recurring pattern with this director that the…
Yes, I understand this, but the roles don't need to be cast as romantic interests for the actors to have good chemistry. When I was talking about "outshining" I wasn't necessarily referring to this drama, but the two previous ones that I've seen from the same director, namely Legend of Yunxi (where Merxat steals the show from everyone) and Flowers at Ruyi Pavillion which also has a SML more charismatic than the ML. I have the impression this director recycles the same ideas in every drama, from the obsessive SFL, over the "just a friend" charismatic SML down to the bland poster in pastel colours.
I saw that the director is the one who previously directed Legend of Yunxi and sadly the SFL seems to follow the…
Unlike Legend of Yunxi at least in Song of the Moon the ML is very straightforward about this. This kind of obsessive delusional attitude seems to be very popular in C-dramas (especially for SFLs). No wonder some fans are just as deranged and can no longer distinguish between actor and role.
I'm wondering how much of himself Jeremy Tsui chanelled into this role LOL
