Welcome to the club. Prepare to sufferā¦š Whether it is bad scripts, trainee co-stars or week-long social media silences, he does not make it easy to be a fan ššš
Yes...LSY gave SZ a kiss but is not sure if he dreamt it or it was for real. I have to say, I thought that SR…
Yep, that guy is the childhood sweetheart. No Chinese drama would be complete without that trope, but for once we cannot blame the scriptwriters because it was also in the novel. Get prepared for some first-class angst and jealousy from the MLā¦
Oh, I just love Jeremyās styling in the boat scene on the river. He always looks handsome, but this loose hairstyle suits him even better than the classic style.
SPOT ON! So glad someone is mentioning it. Most of his fans are in denial (and I adore him). He or his agency…
Yes, I think he is indeed not too good (or willing) to sell and promote himself to build up sufficient momentum to get the high-profile shows. It reminds me very much of my professional experience, there are people who are good at doing things and there are those whose greatest talent lies in promoting themselves and playing company politics. From what I see in the stuff they post on Weibo, his fans in China just applaud all and anything. I cringe every time I see them wax about the drama that shall remained unnamed. Also, there are probably not enough of them to build up real pressure comparable to what a Yang Mi could mobilize and we international fans donāt count at all. I find it very sad to see all this and not be able to do anything about it.
Omg I'm glad someone else is thinking this!! This has been my thoughts since I started watching Jeremy Tsui shows.…
I think a lot of his international fans feel that way and some of us keep saying so every time we see him paired with yet another trainee actress. His talents are totally wasted in these trophy romantic roles.
There are many decent actresses that would make a good pair with him. Yang Mi, or Li Shi Shi, absolutely! I wouldnāt be too keen on the likes of Ester Yu or Yang Zi because I find them too babyish, he needs someone with a bit more spunk.
SPOT ON! So glad someone is mentioning it. Most of his fans are in denial (and I adore him). He or his agency…
Not all of his fans are in denial (I agree that a lot of them are, toughā¦) but other than supporting whatever he is in there isnāt much a fan can do. I absolutely want to see him in grown-up roles instead of babysitting an endless line of starlets or playing second fiddle to far less talented actors/actresses, but somehow he doesnāt seem to hear me when I cry and scream at the screen.
It looks like nobody has mentioned this so far, but Lu Yanās attendant, Yang Zong, is absolutely unbeatable in the comical scenes. He doesnāt even need to speak, just the way he looks is already enough to get me laughing out loud. Kudos to the actor!
The writers seem to have a problem with guys in this dramaā¦
Shen Zhenās younger brother - deleted Fu Manās younger brother - now a younger sister Even when it comes to sleuthing, all the crucial conclusions seem to come from the amateur women instead of the two professional guys. Iām all for empowering women but this feels a bit over the top š
finally something to watch .enjoyed Jeremey last drama and this is so funny so far ...there has been draught in…
It shouldnāt be too hard, the novel is pretty good. If just for once they could resist the urge to replace any novel idea with the same old tropes as usual.
can some one explain about the synopsis I don't understand? is she married a another man other than male lead?
Yes, in Lu Yanās dreams of the previous life she leaves him and gets married to her childhood sweetheart (according to the novel). This character hasnāt appeared yet, because he is a general currently off winning some battles, but he will appear later in the drama (Iāve seen the name in the list of characters). Weāll probably will get to enjoy the ML going on a crazy jealousy trip, because in the novel he gets worked up every time he just hears the guyās name. He has lost her once so in this life he wants to make sure this doesnāt happen again, think insecurity multiplied by a hundred š
I'm sorry but I have to keep it up for Sister Gurl SR! I mean, Nancy Drew has nothing on her and Remington Steele…
Hehe, he seems to have a āmust take his shirt off in every dramaā clause in his contract, so he has to keep those abs in shape. And yes, we are all praying for Jeremy to finally get to act with an actress of his calibre.
how is this?... does it worht to watch?... i love how act Jeremy, but Lately, his drama are a little sour, and…
Itās a slow burn, so for the moment no kissing. Iāve never heard that he had a problem with acting kisses. However, it could be because recently all his acting partners have been little girls that he tries to tread carefully. Otherwise, the drama is very entertaining. Some suspense, a bit of humour, quite decent acting.
ššš It only occurs in the early episodes. No more fainting spells in ep. 7 + 8.
Yeah, I feel that they exaggerated a bit with the crying/heart clutching and fainting. In the novel he wood just feel an aching pain when she teared up but of course that would not have the same visual effect in the televised version. He also strictly forbade her to cry early on (without telling her why).

In his dream or during the enquiry?
