Well, there is a bit of a triangle, the leads are both clear in their feelings towards each other, but some guy hasn’t seen the writing in the sky and others are trying to meddle. I think their chemistry is quite good despite the age gap. I have been positively surprised by the FL, probably because I feared the worst. There are many funny and cute moments between them and judging by the BTS footage they had a lot of fun filming it.

Yeah, that “dinner for three” was so funny! I already didn’t much like the Su Heng character in the novel, but this version of him is even more annoying. At least the FL made it quite clear that she considers him a brother and not what he thinks.

I initially quite liked this drama, the brotherhood, the political scheming, Liu Yu Ning’s pokerface…but I had to give up after episode 4 . I just can’t stand dramas where 80% of the scenes seem to happen in the dark. To make matters worse, everyone is dressed in black or dark colours. It just makes me feel like a visitor in a goth nightclub and my eyes can’t take it.

Yes, episodes 13 and 14 are out today. According to the latest calendar (see photo section) there should be two more episodes tomorrow and two on Thursday, then nothing on Friday/Saturday/Sunday and presumably Monday. Of course this is subject to modification without notice depending on the stars, the direction the wind comes from at sunrise and the mood of the person responsible for programme scheduling.

Of course he isn’t standard - he is extraordinary! 😍 But I think I get what the person who said it meant. He has very distinct features which people either like or dislike, whereas many of the pretty boys all look pleasingly similar, as if they had come out of the same mold.
I’m not sure yet, I also just know what’s in the calendar. Tencent usually broadcast episodes every day in the first week a new drama comes out and after that they change the schedule. Sometimes it’s Wednesday to Saturday, sometimes something else. I don’t think there’s much logic to their schedules. It looks to me like it depends on whether the person in charge had a good weekend or not 😂

I just can’t stand dramas where 80% of the scenes seem to happen in the dark. To make matters worse, everyone is dressed in black or dark colours. It just makes me feel like a visitor in a goth nightclub and my eyes can’t take it.
I feel that we’re going to somewhat dislike the elder sister in the coming episodes if she keeps trying to promote SH.
