From what I’ve heard, Shui Long Yin, which is currently filming, will be his last project.
I’ve never seen this drama officially mentioned by him or his fan service, so I don’t know where this information came from. Sadly, I now think that this is not going to happen. 😳😢

Jeremy is currently filming for another guest appearance in Feng Ying Ran Mei Xiang. So there are now three more dramas with him to air.

It’s one of Lu Yan’s dreams of his previous life. Shen Zhen left him and he didn’t want to read her farewell letter because it would not change anything and only make him sadder.

It seems that some I’ll-intentioned people are now spreading rumours that he’s retired to take over an imaginary family business. These rumours are completely false and a desperate attempt to distract everyone’s attention from the very obvious bullying and sabotaging that he has suffered by trying to give him a spoilt rich kid image.

And yes, fans are messaging the agency ‘Asian Stars’ every hour with the same messages (in fat red letters) demanding an explanation and accusing them of bullying. There will probably be more action once fans get organised.

This one may have had some weaknesses, but it had solid acting and avoided many of the usual tropes, so I’m thinking it deserves much better than your 7.5

Yes, it’s really unfair. He seems to be a very nice and kind person unlike some snotty idol boys who are making demands as soon as they’ve got one moderately successful drama and this is probably the reason why his agency behaved in such a despicable way. It’s easy to bully a gentle and kind person who keeps suffering in silence.
Now his fans are livid and demanding answers!

I find it terrible that actors have to resort to such drastic measures (or even suicide, as the recent case in Korea) for their struggles to even get noticed. This kind of modern slave trade where an actor “belongs” to an agency and cannot decide upon his own life and career is inhumane.

I hope so, too. I know for one that Zheng Yecheng has been in a similar situation and had to set up his own agency.

The second hypothesis makes a lot more sense based on what we know. It would seem natural for someone like him to move towards some more serious acting roles and he posted today that he would finish all contracted work. If it were health reasons, it would be more likely to seek treatment immediately.

Absolutely! As sad as I am about this, it proves again why he is an actor and a person worth following. There are many handsome actors and quite a few talented ones, but there’s only one like him!
It had been clear for a while now that things must be going on behind the scenes that he didn’t wish to whine about in public like so many others do.

These agencies have far too much power and they are ruining the industry. Brilliant actors have to quit or don’t get any roles, while talentless idols are pushes into the limelight.
