What did Sang Zhi do to chase after ml? She's comparable to Sang Yan not Sang Zhi at all
I didn’t say they’re comparable, but actually how different they are in contrast. I just meant both FLs have done “worse” things in high school (when they were young, not the whole drama) when it comes to showing feelings. For example, Sang Zhi literally flew to Yihe as a teen just to see Duan Jiaxu, and later even chose Yihe University, which conveniently put her in the same city as him — both actions motivated by her crush. The FL from Our Secret literally repeated her 12nd grade to take her Gaokao again so she could enter the same university as ML. But in Our Generation, this FL didn’t really “chase” the ML in that sense. Aside from being his emotional support because of his family issues and always understanding him, she didn’t follow him around like some lovestruck girl with no brains. And yes, you're right, she’s actually more like a female version of Sang Yan — she loves unconditionally, but she’s not actively chasing him. So I don’t really get why people are calling her a lovesick chaser when she literally did nothing close to what other FLs in cdramas do. Don't get me wrong, I'm not criticising those two, they were young and later on matured, that's all.

If by any chance, you see this comment and are in doubt about giving this a try: Sang Zhi from Hidden Love and FL (forgot her name xD) from Our Secret have done so much "worse" in my opinion to chase after the ML (also while being a teen). If you liked them, you'd definitely like this one too, so don't judge a cdrama by it's ratings, reviews or comments. Give it a chance first.

FL is 17 years old in the beginning it s completely understandable from my pov if she's acting like a lovestruck teen.

Title Bound by Sin
My hope was, that there is someone who can explain this ending to me 😅
I'm thinking maybe that when he called her name at the end and she looked back, she actually did see him (because the revolutionary army won so there's no reason something bad happened at all). They just didn't show us a reunion. But it's weird, cause she didn't smile seeing him or anything too haha. She definitely looked emotional? Maybe she was emotional seeing him, not necessarily sad.

I really need something similar to this!?? hello. Any new recommendations?
2nding Love You Seven Times. They're literally connected. The red thread scene has a tiny bit from the main OST of LBFAD, a reminder or such haha.

Title Summit of Our Youth Spoiler
Ok, I just had to write this right after finishing the last episode. I already knew how Chinese censorship works…
Only thing being very sad for me was how Gao Rui is dead in the original timeline but i'm happy to believe he's alive in the other one that's been (rudely haha) cut off. And of course the achievements and the other things they've lost, but those can always be won back, just like the ML said to FL "I can make another 10 companies, but you're the only one". He only needed her and his ambitions 🫶🏻

I feel exactly the same way! Honestly, I’m sure that if there hadn’t been any censorship, the ending would have cut right after the proposal scene. But even with this “censorship” ending, I still think it’s beautiful in its own way. When they instinctively grabbed each other’s hand, I smiled so widely 🥹 — and then that final exchange, “For how long this time? Ten more years?” and his reply, “For as long as it takes” — was just so moving, reffering to his "secret" haha. To me, it wasn’t just about time, but about the endless depth of their love for each other, resilient. It really showed how their love transcends timelines and overcomes every obstacle. I found it incredibly touching. Maybe, in a way, we all live out different timelines or worlds, but no matter what, we’re always destined to end up with the one who’s truly meant for us.

yes, unfortunately. the rating system has lost it's use and integrity.

some people like hating on the actors (like xu kai in this case, apparently) so they resort to things like these... no matter though, it s been a known thing not to rely on ratings on mdl these days....

It's so frustrating to see ratings and reviews for episodes and dramas that haven't even aired yet. When will MDL stop allowing users to "complete" and rate episodes that are still airing? It makes the overall ratings completely unreliable making people question if they should or should not watch a drama. At this point, the rating system has no integrity or use whatsoever.
