I get where the criticism comes from—some people who’ve read the novel before might have different expectations, maybe hoping for a direct copy, but I think some are taking it a bit too far (because not everyone read the novel before). I haven’t read it myself, so I’m watching with fresh eyes and honestly loving it so much regardless. Criticism means the drama’s doing very well (rating aside, since we can't always take ratings on here seriously).

This is my first time watching a drama that’s still airing, and I’m losing it 😭 I’m creeping closer to being caught up, but taking a break feels impossible… how do you all do it??

A Dream Within A Dream

While I do like comedy and light moments, I’m more of an angst lover at heart. I’m on ep 6 right now and wondering—does it get more serious later on? I feel a bit detached from the story and even watch it on 2x speed, which I rarely do. Not saying the drama is bad at all—it might just not be for me yet. I’m just hoping it leans more into the angst or emotional depth later on, since it feels a bit too chaotic and parodic for my taste right now. I’m finishing it either way (I always do lol), but would love to know if it gets more grounded later!

Is that a Love Like the Galaxy reference in episode 1?! When they showed that scene (of the drama they were filming) from episode 10—it looked exactly like something from LLTG. The outfit she was wearing, the burning lanterns just about to fall on her, the way he saved her—it’s literally the same! I swear that happened in LLTG too or my memory is messed up.

Such a good, realistic coming-of-age drama that covers so many important themes. It truly deserves a 10 for being one of those rare shows about life—filled with lessons to learn and messages that stick with you long after it ends. Also some songs from the OST are so unique and beautifuuuul.
