Title Flower of Evil Spoiler
Oh poor Hyon Soo! He's just a socially awkward kid who is being blamed for all the evil in the world just becuase he is not that good at interacting with others. had his father not been a murderer nobody would have given him a second glance. he probably never learned as an infant about emotions and how to interpret them since his father was the one who raised him and so he is still learning.

to everyone complaining about the whole story of the mother, I think in the episode of moonyoung's father's death…
Still the mother's part could have been executed better. I disagree though about her reveal and encounter with our three heroes not being the climax. With the emount of forshadowing and hints thrown at us throughout the drama about the mother's identity it is definitely the climax, and you also have the timing of it all, but it is not the main focus. The drama does deal beautifuly with the idea that it really is ok to not be ok like its name and that you nead to deal with your trauma in order to outgrow it or like it's said in the drama - in order for your soul to grow. Sang Tae stole the show in the last two eps and is the reason the it got a 9/10 from me because for a while there it felt like a 7 following the inconsistances in the charecter of the mom, some said in the comments it's a masterpiece. Well it could have been if the mother's arc (the climax you can't run from that) had been writen better. still a very good drama and a fantastic last episode.

Sadly what looks to be the conclution of the drama part in this kdrama is hugely dissapointing.
The mother's charecter ended up being nothing more then a crazy lady and as much as some of us here hoped something would come up of the tale of two sisters, nothing ever did.
But on another note, Sang Tae is a ray of sunshine :)!
"over my dead body, that's how we win the argument" couldn't stop gigling because of him.
A 7.5/10 maybe an 8 if Sang Tae continues on this note, if only it hadn't been for the mother...

i feel the same way, everyone here are trying to justify why the head nurse being the mother makes sense while…
and also, the story in ep' 15 that ties to the motive of "the one perfect creation" that from my understanding delt with a mother who spoiled her child so much that the child became unable to function on its own and only knew how to demand (which is parenting 101 by the way, great lesson for future parents) thus becoming monsterous and "not the perfact creation after all" forcing the mom to discard her child (ok less of a parenting lesson now).

so from this am i supposed to understand that moon young is no longer her mother's best creation and no longer needed? but that why? that story doesn't apply here very well.
i don't know, everything about the mother just bugs me and doesn't sit right...

i accept that the head nurse is the mother at this point, i just simply hate it or the way it was done. the mother's charecter arc, for me at least, was week and poorly writen and i doubt it will get any better. IONTBO had for the most part the potential to be a 10/10 drama and i loved how they made episodes surrounding fairy tales/children's strories and their massege. it was all good, even more than good, up until the story started focusing on the mother.

i mentioned it in previouse comments but something like "i enjoyed torturing you for 20 years" seams kind of iffy. is this what drove the mother up until this point? really thats all? its a drama about mental desieses and overcoming them but there is not even one reason to sympathise with or even pitty the mother. and the daughter was forgotten for almost 2 decades even though she is her "other self", "my one perfect creation".

The head nurse being the mother is a real stunt. I still can't accept this. I wish we are Saturday ep 15 and I…
i feel the same way, everyone here are trying to justify why the head nurse being the mother makes sense while moon young herself speaks my mind: "that can't be. that woman is my mom? i know that almost two decades have passed but even with plastic surgery all over her face i would've recognized her"- true that. even she is having hard time accepting it.

I would surely be disappointed if she is the mother. It would be total mockery of the viewers...
because the nurse is a different kind of crazy if she is infact the mother. also the mother's charecter has no motivation or consistency in this drama what so ever. at first she was obssesed with her daughter but after moon young came back things only started to move on her end during her birthday. meanwhile someone (the nurse or whatever) was focused on making the dad remember his wife and go insane but she could clearly kill him without batting an eye. we know that because she killed kang tae's mom on an impulse so now shes supposed to be calm and collected? and why wait for the husband to pass to reveal herself? unless the nurse is an imposter or something else rather than the mother this is in my opinion bad writing.

okay. how can anyone, for the love of god, survive that fall (let's ignore for the moment a body being thrown…
i don't know i feel like everything in this drama is good exept the mother's storyline. maybe he killed her and maybe not but why the plastic surgery. if the mother was so crazy as to kill a maid (probably kang tae's mom) because she was out of line how did she manage all those years in the psychiatric hospital pretending to be sane and compatinate. i'de really hate to see the head nurse beind the actual mother of moon young.
and even she remmembers the basement covered in her mother's blood.

Honestly in this kdrama I don't mind the chilhood connection since it makes sense, like they didn't just throw…
Childhood connection i like even though they kind of overuse it in kdramaland this days. In recent years too many dramas had some kind of childhood connection between the two main leads. but i don't care for those murderous connections. Why does every drama writer feels like it wouldn't be destiny if he or she don't add some tragedy to the mix. they didn't have to make the one responsible for the male lead's mother's death his girlfriend's mother unless my hunch from the trailer is right and the female lead isn't really her parent's daughter. Otherwise why add so many cliches for what could be a 10/10 drama

so of course it wouldn't be a kdrama if our heroes didn't know each other as children and if one hero's parent wasn't connected somehow to the death of the parent/parents of the other.

next episode's trailer got my hopes up for some mystery of birth to be added to the mix as well. i hope for kang tae that moon young isn't really the daughter of his mother's murderer. i know in kdramaland all is forgiven in the name of love but poor kang tae, the writers need to cut him some slack.

Hey guys just dropping by, did you remember the woman who said "it serves you right, you shouldn't have come here?…
the head nurse is definitely acting strange. but the mom is painted as someone who is weirdley obssesed with her daughter and wants to confine her to the castle so that she could only ever "belong" to her so i figured if the nurse was the mother she would have done something sooner rather than waiting for all this time after the daughter's return. and also why hire someone to play her if she could go to the castle herself unless something prevented her from doing so. if moon young's mother killed kang tae's mom like it was no big deal she would have probably done the same to her husband who tried to kill her instead of hiring another patient to scare him and remind him of her. this would only make sence if the mother was somehow unable to do those things herself or be there in person. at this point she doesn't have a solid reason to hide herself anymore and i doubt that it is because she likes to play nurse. on the other hand the nurse could still be conected to her somehow.

this is the first time i really appreciate the fact that besides english i know two other languages. even though i learned reading in russion as a child and barely ever read in it, the russions do have ep 9 and 10 already translated so pushing the space button every couple of seconds to stop and read was worth it for me. now getting through another few weeks for the rest of the episodes will be hard.

from the currently airing ones Hyena is preety great, The Memorist also started airing but i find its plot too…
I cheched your plan to watch list before recommending, my holo love is again very cute and easy to watch but some moments tawards the end require you to suspend your disbelife. i don't come to dramaland expecting too much realizem so it was fine by me. Wok of Love is also a very good drama and i rewatched it a couple of times the same goes for Just Between Lovers (they both have the same main lead), any way enjoy!

This drama is the prime example that there are Dramas which are liked by General Public that you will end up hating.…
as someone who loved those shows and rewatched them a couple of times, i got to say some of those don't stand the test of time. if BOF or PK were to premiere for the first time in 2020 i guess they would probably get viewers signing petitions to cancel them for their treetment of women and other absurdities. still if they were to remake them without their problematic qualities and with stronger female leads i think they would become hits once more.

I started this after I finished Crash Landing on You and I’ve been pretty satisfied and invested on both dramas…
from the currently airing ones Hyena is preety great, The Memorist also started airing but i find its plot too similar to the likes of He Is Psycometric- which in my eyes was better at least for now, than the already aired few episodes of The Memorist. You also have a new netflix original drama called My Holo Love which was cute and rather short but had its nuber of flows. Koi wa Tsuzuku yo Doko Made mo was overall nice and better than the usual japaniese romance dramas. if you want a good revenge drama you have Money Flower (i don't realy hold my breath for the revenge genre) or more of suspence thriller you have Save Me, about a cult which was phenomenal in my eyes. Wok Of Love i liked a lot and its an easy watch and also Just Between Lovers or Chief Kim, the last one has no romance but is briliant. but i don't know from your list and your ratings to things i watched if my suggestions are to your liking.
any specific combinations of genre?

Title Itaewon Class Spoiler
Big part of you might be disappointed by my comment, but I think that the writer exactly knew what he was doing…
I agree with you completly. I think the drama production team and the writer did a fantastic job at making the progression of the revenge arc towards its compleation feel satisfying even while slowly abandoning it altogether. the final scenes in which Sae Ro Yi kneels in front of the chairman felt not as moments of defeat but rather the begining of his big triomph over the chairman whose pride stems from feeling supirior to others resulting in him losing himself and his values over time. as he nears his end the chairman starts to relise all his work was futile as he no longer sees the point of staying alive as apose to Sae Ro Yi whose pride comes from sticking to his values and from the people close to him, making his will to live stronger with each passing day as he and his freinds work towards achieving their mutual goal.
i felt they started to put less and less emphasiss on Ro Yi's will to get revenge starting around episode 13, and the fact that the chairman could only find his last bit of will to live, after speaking with him on the phone, to keep fighiting Sae Ro Yi, has proven already- Ro Yi has won. the chairman has nothing while being number one and Ro Yi has everything regardless of his rank. now Sae Ro Yi no longer needs his revenge to motivate him whilst for the chairman it's all he has left.
like you said i also think they will give us a glorious victory in tommorows episode.
the only unsatisfactory thing here is Jung Geun Soon's charecter development. his hole reasoning just seems meh and week.
