in most sane countries no means no and thats how it should be everywhere. lets not make us into people who incorage sexual harassment or any kind of harassment. but and thats a big but, in order for it to be harassment sae ro yi has to feel harassed which he clearly doesn't as he continues to treat her warmly and she still is his confedant. if everything was clear black and white in the world than sure she is a major harasser and half of the couples in the world were not couples becouse parrsistance is always bad. but thats not life. i'me sure had he felt harassed he would have told her - yi seo youre harrasing me and making me feel uncomfortable or anything in a slightly more serious tone. it just felt like a normal thing in their conversation, she confesses and he rejects almost like a habbit. she didn't force herself on him or stalk him, she simply confess a couple of times in a span of 4 hoping he will slowly love her back wich he did. it's a love story why are you trying to paint it as something ugly?

now regarding yi seo, you said they never showed him holding back from her durind those 4 years and on that i agree with you. but he, the same as soo ah who decided she would not get involved with him, decided to not get involved with yi seo regardless of his feelings. i agree he wasn't shown in a way that draws him as an anguished lover who can't be with the person he loves but that dosn't say he doesn't like yi seo. you mentioned jung geun soo being away and i think it only strengthens my point because before he declared he never liked yi seo in the truth or dare game geun soo told everybody he left danbam and intends to take over jang ga because yi seo told him she would come to him. than when he was asked if he had ever felt something for yi seo he poused to think and than calmly answered. i think as a person you are able to know whether you are atracted to someone and whether you like them or the complete oposite of it. if he truely never felt anything tawards her he would've told it as it was without pousing to think. that in itself proves sproutes of feelings were already there. also can you imagine sae ro yi making a move on a girl his freind likes while he is away? that is so out of charecter for him. i'm not claming he always loved yi seo and than sudenly came to a realization in episode 14 im claiming it was a process and he was slowly moved by yi seo's efforts.
you alsp said he told yi soe that he likes soo ah like she is and maby that was true at the moment, but soo ah continued to act in ways that benefit the continuation of her working in jang ga and never once supported him openly through her action. what in soo ah would motivate him to continue to like her through the progretion of time? they never had any progress of her own choice. verses yi seo constantly did her best to support his dream and his revenge. she taped jang geun won conffesing to killing sae ro yi's father with his car and even got beaten up because of it. soo ah could have done the same thing especialy since geun won liked her and was open with her but she would have never done it because her interests were supirior in her head than helping sae ro yi. after royi rejected yi seo he also rejected soo ah and chose revenge over her in episode 12.
now regarding the claims that yi soe harresed him i completely disagree. he had a big part in leading her on in the begining. he pated her hair many times when he was pleased with her (he only pated ma hyun yi once), he let her sleep on his leg when he coud have simply refused, he leaned her head on his shoulder on the bus, he let her be his partner in his revenge and confined in her and he huged her after she got beaten up. after she told him she will continue liking him on her own and kept telling him she loved him he might of frowned at her but he continued to keep her close, he never distanced himself and he kept caring for her like when he entered her office just to put his coat over her. sure he maby continued to turn her down but her conffetions didn't bother him like some of the comments paint it out, otherwise he would have kept his distance from her. you can see from his actions like how he got flusttered and kind of shy whenever she conffesed to him or how he had to literally stop himself from pating her as much because he started to see her differently, as a woman and not just a girl and consedered her feelings. episode 14 i think explained it perfectly.

thats not entirely true. soo ah did reciprocate his feelings but she simply wasn't willing to date him. we can see from episode 1 that their entire approach towards human feelings were different from the get go. sae ro yi always puts emphasis on relationships and the wellbeing of the people he knows, so everything that hurts those people, at least in my eyes, he considers against his morals enought to sometimes act in a way that is perhaps not in his best interest, which contredicts soo ah's world views. she who was raised in an orphanage was probably forced from an early age to count only on herself and to act only in ways that benefit her (she said that herself), because she unlike sae ro yi when they first met didn't have a supporting family member to take responsibility for her. in episode 14 she said to him that her dream was always to own a house and a nice car and be able to support herself and thus be independent. sae ro yi who beat up the son of his father's boss on his first day of school and thus cost him his job (in SA's eyes) was very charming but also a danger to her dream if they ever did get involved 1(not to mention an ex convict) so even though she liked him- wich you can't deny because if the show didn't make it obvious she also conffesed this to jang geun won a few episodes ago.
they have very different mentalities and that is a very important aspect in relationships so i doubt they could ever work.
also sae ro yi more than his love for her he was obssesed (again that is only my opinion) with the idea of his first love whose latter cheered him on in prison. also before he went to work on the ship soo ah clearly sent him signals she was intrested on the day he came to meet her in itaewon, but he chose not to make a move. throuout the entire drama he held her on such a high pedestal her real actual self could never live up to. he made promises for the future while still keeping a platonic relationship with her in the present and never trying too hard to actually woo her in the current times. and finaly our moment of truth after he rejected yi seo he also rejected soo ah. she offered him to come her and forget his revenge but he chose his revenge instead. i don't belive you can still defend his love for her after that.

OH was it Kim Soo Hyun making a cameo while somehow still promoting his movie REAL? the color palette, the new hotel name, the voice tone change. it seems to be so, nice! probably isn't easy to let go of a role you so wanted to represent your 20s. Hotel de luna was a good one (though we were robbed of a few more kiss scenes).

why is a normal citizen able to go to an unguarded crime scene of a murder and pick up evidence including the murder weapon while the police seems to be doing nothing to investigate the crime. its like someone was murdered and the police could care less.
thats my main problem with episode 1, but if thats how a mystery is done in this drama it will probably get dropped by me by episode 3.

i don't get the problems you have with such charecters, she is very unfortunate probably largely thanks to the contract between the devil and Seo Dong Cheon. if she wasn't optimistic i would have expected her to make that trip to han river they always talk about in dramas by now, i'me kidding but she really wasn't painted as all that optimisic, she wasn't sitting around mopping and depressed nor was she all smiley reciting life will get better if you work hard mantras (as you can see in many dramas).
at the momment all i think we can tell about her is that she is just an unfortunate charecter who surpressed her dreams. there really are no hints for her being bipolar or anything like that. unless you think her saying at times that at least she didn't get a nose bleed as she tends to fall and get them counts as being optimistic, because that is just sad.

well Seo Dong Cheon is currently 60 years old while Yi Kyung is something like 23-25 years old so i think her being his daughter is definitely plausible. and also i too wish she actually is his daughte especially since he said in the first episode that later he will find out he still has a lot more tears to shed. we can deduce at the momment after the first two episodes that the soul he will help steal for the devil is hers so for him to find out later on how deep is his connection with her and how his greed led him to steal (unknowingly) her future and dreams and made her live a hard life is perfect in my eyes.

personally i loved her in less than evel, she was briliant there and played alongside shin ha kyun who is an amazing actor himself. from what i've seen in the first ep' she is quite good.

no matter how many times i think about it, i can't stop myself from being stunned everytime i recall the contrast between his acting in waikiki 1&2 and in children of nobody.
espessialy since children of nobody in my eyes is one of the top 5 best dramas of recent years. oppa fighting!

OMG, just read someones comment about the show ending next week and i'm thinking to myself how can it already be ending when in my mind i was ready (and maby kind of whishing) for there to be a family drama worth of episodes left for me to giggle about. had to check for myself in disbelief.

the only thing that's bothering me here is the fact that Yea Rin gets injured or knocked out in what seems to be every episode. no wonder the actress looks so tired all of the time when she needs to be thrown on the ground, hit against something or by someone practically in every few scenes she is in.
this drama is not the best one in this year i think, but it certainly is absolutely enjoyable and getting a 10 out of 10. Seo Yi Do is perffection in an oquard kind of way :)

yes, that and half of the supporting cast and maby the same vibe in general.
