25% of the drama only 8 episodes have aired and for xianxia dramas most plot twist doesn't start 💀💀

You made some fair points about Bai Lu’s project choices, and sure, not every script has been perfect, she’s also had standout roles like Northward that showed her range and depth. It's not like she’s just doing shallow work across the board.

The bigger issue is how some people go about sharing “criticism.” Blind attacks, fake accounts, and constant name calling? that’s not critique it’s just unfair and honestly pathetic that’s why some users get labeled as haters because they’re not offering any real, helpful feedback. if you can’t separate trolling from thoughtful critique, then you’re not really helping the discussion or the industry either.

I saw your comment with the user and the comment insulting bai lu, this happened with one of my fave Lusi, it can really be annoying when they do this.

Yes, no one is responsible for others' actions online, but when people bring up fake accounts or hate voting, it’s not about blaming individuals it’s about acknowledging a pattern that does affect how dramas are perceived. Some of those 1 star ratings for unaired episodes don’t just magically appear they’re part of the issue people are calling out.

Also, it’s unfair to act like people are lumping all criticism with hate. Many users have shared valid critique about the writing, pacing, editing and haven’t been called haters. The problem is with those who go beyond criticism and start mocking actors, especially Bai Lu, or throwing in insults. That’s when the line is crossed.

I really dislike how some of you are twisting people’s words and pretending like certain accounts aren’t here just to throw shade. Some of these accounts were literally created today. Read the actual comments there are plenty of valid complaints, even from people who are enjoying the drama. Things like the editing or sound issues have been mentioned a lot.

What I don’t get is why some are acting like they’re not “allowed” to share an opinion. This is a discussion site. If you're already saying “please don’t hate me” before sharing a take, then what's the point? Why can’t people just be bold about what they think? We can all agree to disagree that’s how discussions work.

As for me, I’m enjoying the drama so far It’s not a 10/10, but I’ve watched 8 episodes and I’m looking forward to the next one. I’m not biased toward Bai Lu or the leads, I’m just curious about where the story goes. And seriously, if you don’t like it, there are plenty of other dramas out there. No one’s forcing anyone to watch.

Plenty of viewers have shared solid critiques about the writing or pacing without being called haters. The real problem lies with those using fake accounts to spread unnecessary hate not just criticism, but full-on insults toward the actors, especially Bai Lu.

There’s a huge difference between constructive feedback and targeted attacks. Calling someone talentless or mocking their looks isn’t helpful, and it certainly isn’t going to improve drama quality.

Blaming actors for script issues is misplaced. If the goal is to push for better storytelling, the focus should be on the people actually creating the content not on tearing down performers who are working with what they’re given.

Also remember chinese dramas cannot be love by all international fans but on weibo or douyin i haven't seen much complaints about the drama
